Very lovely place and we enjoy staying here at holiday in karon because the staff assist us everytime we need help especially in morning Ana always assist us and in afternoon when we have lunch at joe kool bar Jury always welcome us and assist us.

The hotel is generally ordinary. The hotel has good breakfasts, friendly staff, the hotel is not very clean, but there are a number of buts. The main complaint about the numbers. In two of the three rooms, we had a persistent and strong smell of dampness, and alas, we could not get rid of it. In the third room, the toilet drain did not work. We managed to change 2 rooms to more adequate rooms, but in the farthest building. With cleaning, everything is difficult to clean, it was tedious to go and ask, and if, moreover, not to say that the bed linen was changed, it would not be changed. All actions start with a poke. It's not far to the sea, but it's tedious to go through a couple of dead bridges. The hotel generally pulls in a solid C grade.

The hotel is good. By 5 with a minus. He lived up to expectations.
Like it.
1. Appearance. It's just nice to be on site. It's restrained in a European way. Nothing is visually annoying. Attempts to maintain modern trends in finishing materials are visible.
2. Three pools. Two adults, one child. In those days when it was too lazy to go to the calm Ao Yon, and there were hellish waves on Karon, it helped a lot. There are several pools, they are large, there is enough space for everyone to sunbathe and swim.
3. Breakfast. The cuisine is European, Asian, and children's. Everyone will find something to their liking. Satisfying. Delicious. High quality.
4. Animation. Unobtrusive, like in Turkey or Egypt, simple, but it is there and it's great.
5. A good children's room. It rained one day and the game room helped out a lot. Multiple ps4s, puzzles, board games. You can keep the child busy for more than one hour.
6. Location. Not in the crowd itself, a little to the side and that's fine.
7. A large room. They cleaned every day very efficiently. A huge bed, an excellent mattress and pillows, it was comfortable to sleep. A separate baby bed.
8. Large private parking behind the hotel, whenever we returned, there were plenty of places for cars.
I didn't like it.
1. Upon check-in, there was a strong smell of dampness in the room. We applied for a resep. They sprinkled, left a room card for the conder to dry, it helped, but not 100%.
2. In the shower, the water periodically went badly.
3. At the beginning, the air conditioner was poorly cooled. Cleaned, it got too cold. At night, you either freeze or periodically get up to turn on / off.
That's about it. There are definitely more advantages. We lived in different hotels on Karon and Katya. I liked this one the most.

We were a family in October. The hotel met our expectations. There is everything for children: swimming pools, animators, a game room. There is a bar: the prices are space, in the restaurant too. There is billiards for those who are interested. The room is spacious. They gave a separate crib for the child. The rooms were cleaned well. Bed linen and towels were changed on time. Bottled water daily. There were shortcomings, but knowing that the hotel is online (+ not new), we were satisfied.

A good hotel almost on the beach. There are children's and adult pools. A good breakfast in a European, Thai style. Attentive staff. But there is no equipment to cross the street to the sea, so the transition is always very difficult due to heavy traffic on the road. The territory is very landscaped, all plants are monitored, many workers have been seen. The pool is clean, the water is hot straight (for us Siberians), one day coincided with cleaning, just the whole hotel was completely licked, the room was cleaned every day. We stayed at this hotel from 01/21/2023 to 01/31/2023.I liked everything.Since we arrived late in the evening, we checked in immediately.The room is nice, everything is clean and tidy. Great hotel!
Before the trip, I read the reviews, how bad everything is there, I was upset ... in fact, everything is super there.
The renovated hotel is now a Holiday Inn.
There is still 1 adult swimming pool under restoration, but it's not scary (there is another one).
The rooms are clean, cleaning is done every day, towels are changed every day.
The location can be said to be 1st coastal, the hotel is located across a busy road to the sea, BUT there is a traffic controller.

1. the biggest disadvantage is the most similar breakfasts, the same thing every day, even the fruits do not change and there was no mango, and this is in Thailand, where it is at every step
2. The location is bad, you need to walk decently to all the shops and cafes
3. The sea is nearby, but you need to go through some smelly sewer drain + the edge of the beach and it's dirty, you still need to walk to a normal beach

Great hotel! We went in February 23rd, we really liked it. Of course, as they say, the taste and color ... Renovated everywhere, the rooms are very cozy and fresh. The guys are constantly working on landscaping both in the hotel and on the territory. The staff is very friendly and smiling, they will tell you and help you. The breakfasts are delicious and there are plenty to choose from, everything is fresh . And the restaurant itself is very cozy. If it was expensive, it would be a shame. For the entire stay of 11 days, there was hot water for 5 days), but not everywhere, only in our parking lot. The room has everything you need, there are no bathrobes and slippers. Cleaned normally. The baby's bed was peeling off, if the kids are small it is very dangerous, my child is 6 years old, so I treated it carefully. The pool was poorly cleaned, it was impossible to swim a couple of times, it was so dirty. The children's slide was under repair, a foam party was being held in the main pool. There is a game room. The breakfasts are not delicious. Rice soup is so peppered with black pepper that it is impossible to eat. We usually eat an omelet, but for some reason it wasn't delicious either. From food: salad, 3 types of fruit, ham, delicious cheese, 2 types of yogurt (delicious), coffee machines, pastries, etc. Everyone's tastes are different-these are my personal conclusions. The staff is friendly, the deposit was not taken. The sea is across the road, up to 7/11 minutes 10 and it did not please. There is no massage, no shops, no cafes within walking distance. Go out to the left and go until the cafes, exchangers, fruits begin. I didn't like the location, if you like to walk, then it's normal.

On the second day we decided to swim in the pool. The water is dirty, there is a lot of garbage in the water and sand.
But all this could be lived through.
On the 3rd day, in the late afternoon, I felt bad, terrible vomiting began. I blamed everything on the food I ate outside the hotel, although everything looked fresh and tasted too. But a little later, vomiting and indigestion began in her husband. It was bad all night. In the morning we found out that our friends also spent a fun night, taking turns resorting to the toilet.
Barely getting up by the end of breakfast, we decided to have tea in the dining room. It turned out that there were at least 6 people besides us (these are only those with whom we communicated) They were also poisoned and, just like us, they have been fighting poisoning for the last 24 hours.
I concluded that we were poisoned, after all, at the hotel. I called the guide, she replied, "What did you want? You eat in different places, then you bring the infection to the hotel, and everything goes in a circle!!". To which I replied that the elderly couple, who also got poisoned, did not leave the hotel and did not eat outside it. She politely recommended to seek help at the hospital, because this is an insurance case and we are missing. That this is a common case, and no one stays in the hospital for more than a day, everything comes back to normal.
By the way, this trip to Tai is far from the first. Poisoning, and even mass poisoning, was encountered here for the first time.
I conclude that this is still hotel food of not very good quality!!!

I spent a few days here. I am very happy with the hotel. The furniture is not fresh, but that's not the most important thing.The beach is clean, wide, and not crowded. The water is clean . Especially thanks to the Russian manager who graduated from the Thai University of Hotel Service and knows everything about Thailand and its culture. Irina is always ready to help with any question - where to go, what to see, where to buy what is profitable, to rent a car . Helps with the translation of Russian- Thai- English. I saw that some of the guests left their Russian children with her to sit and babysit with them .I think it's very convenient.

We stayed at this hotel at the end of February 2023. The first 5 days were terrible.. the dirty pool we did not swim there at all , they clean up as well as they wrote in the comments until you go and ask for it yourself , and this is written in their brochure in the room , but believe me they do not come immediately . you go to ask 3-4 more times or even grab cleaning on the way and escort to the room only then they begin to clean . To be honest, the stench is terrible from the sewage system in this area, the noise is terrible. We rented a deluxe and they are all located right parallel to the road. It's just hell (cars, motorcycles are driven around the clock!!! There were 2 breakfasts and everything was the same (scrambled eggs, omelette, fruit, pancakes, etc.)
It has not had any relation to the Novotel network for a long time, do not get fooled by it, everything is already different there. After 5-6 days of stay , all the staff began to move , they began to clean the territory , clean the pools . I'll tell you about the beach. As in previous comments, it was written that a man with a flag helps crossing the road and regulates the whole thing. But we forgot to mention 🤣 going over to the side , we see stinky drains , a little to the left , the whole lake is stinky . It is very difficult for families with small children in strollers to walk because of the terrible road ( the hills are sharp, the height is to rise to bridges 30-40 cm high ) I also want to warn these sewage they periodically drain into the sea. Believe me, the stench in the sea is just terrible, the day is definitely killed and you can't swim in the sea. From the hotel taxi 200, 300 baht. We stayed at the hotel from 09/19/23 to 30.09.23. A company of 4 people. I don't want to go back to this hotel anymore. We are out of season, maybe that's why we are faced with the fact that:
1. One swimming pool is under renovation, as well as half of the territory
2. For several days in a row, they carried out a fire alarm throughout the hotel from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A siren was playing at full volume in the room every 10 minutes… we were in great perplexity and even in anger, especially these days we were all lying in the room, as we were poisoned. (There were no warnings before booking)
3. After this hell, lasting for several days, the hot water is turned off for a day....
4. The toilet and sink were repaired three times, there were huge blockages. Once we accidentally threw a cotton pad into the toilet as a result - a blockage. There were no warning signs that you should not throw papers into the toilet.
Of the disadvantages, I would also like to note:

If you want to live in filth and darkness, then you are here. A shabby hotel, the 4th doesn't even smell. It is dirty, it stinks of dampness in the room and something unpleasant on the territory, 30 meters away the smelly river (which, by the way, flows into the sea a little further), a noisy road. The towels are gray, 1 dirty towel was caught in some spots, I took it immediately to the reception (evening), the next day they didn't even bring a new one for lunch. Beach towels killed in spots, streaks of white. The drain in the bathroom is clogged (it was not eliminated in a day). The light in the room turned on spontaneously 3 times during the night. The furniture is dead. The territory is sad. The breakfast is normal, but we were only 1 time, because we checked out of the hotel despite the fact that 6 nights were paid for.
I don't understand who all these people are who put up 5 stars and admire this horror.
