Just keep in mind that in addition to the rental cost, you need to have cash with you (if you only have Russian cards) for insurance at the rate of 10k drams per day for the cheapest car or leave a deposit of 200k. We took a Renault Kaptur car with the bride to Hertz for a trip towards Dilijan and Lake Sevan. This was our first car rental abroad, and we were very pleasantly impressed by the company. You can pay with a MIR card (Sberbank), paid for car rental + full insurance, so as not to make a deposit. They took it with a full tank, returned it with a full tank. The staff turned out to be very customer-oriented, explained everything politely and answered a lot of questions. In general: my recommendation.
The only thing to understand is that we took in February 2024 (off-season), prices are lower, there are more cars. It will be more expensive in the season and there may be fewer cars to choose from.

I was in Yerevan for the first time and booked a car in advance (July 28, reservation, August 18, picked up). When I came to pick up the car on August 18, it turned out that there was no car (and a similar class), and in general they were not waiting for me and my reservation was not there.
I showed the screen with the reservation number on the phone, they couldn't find it. They asked me to find a notification in the mail with this armor (not immediately, but I found it).
As a result, I had to take what was available, so instead of a Toyota Corolla, I got a Renault Kaptur. Of course, I had to pay the price difference out of my own pocket.
The only time I booked here and immediately had such problems. I can't imagine what else I had to do to avoid them, I didn't even have the opportunity to control them.

An extremely unpleasant impression of the process of getting a car. They are very persistently trying to sell the no deposit option for an additional 10,000 drams for every day. When I refused, some kindergarten threats were used - I quote the employee verbatim: "for any scratch we will write off the deposit in full" (this is $500). Then there was a circus with an inspection of the car. The employee walked around the car with a quick step, shoved a paper at me and said, verbatim quote: "I'll go to the office, and you first sign the act, then you can inspect the car." Naturally, at the same time, he "did not notice" several defects in the body. I had to literally force him to mark every damage, and he waved everything away with the words: "Oh, it's nothing, don't pay attention." It seems to be a large international company and there should be some standards of service, but in fact it feels like you are taking a car from some guys in the garage who are trying to breed you and throw you.
The car was two years old, but unkempt. Already during the rental, it was discovered that the radio was not working, and an error was flashing on the panel all the time, which caused the cruise control to not work. That is, they were even too lazy to drive the car to the service and reset the error. And all this despite the fact that in August rental prices were twice as expensive as in rental offices in Europe.

Several times we took cars from this company in Europe, so when the Localcars booking service offered a car at an affordable price from Hertz, we took it without hesitation. The service at the rental office is on the level-they quickly processed all the documents, helped with the deposit on the Russian card, gave advice on gas stations and roads. According to the car-Volkswagen polo 2019, in normal condition, clean interior, a little "tired" suspension, but overall good, we drove almost the whole of Armenia in five days-did not disappoint.

When booking on the website, they warn only about 5,000 drams for delivery on a "day off".
