A must-visit place, especially if you are with children. The exposition may not be very rich compared to the Moscow or Barcelona zoos, but the location on the island and the picturesque views make up for everything. I've never seen camels with such well-groomed fur. And the bears are outgrown altogether - the fur just flows in silk waves (like on the hats of the British Guards). There is a cafe at the entrance for emergencies.
A cute zoo founded back in the nineteenth century, when Suomi was part of Russia. The first animals were brown bears imported from Karelia. Its location is very unusual - on the island of Korkeasaari. A wonderful place if you plan to spend an interesting and informative unforgettable day with your child in the capital of Finland. In the summer season, it is best to get from the center of Helsinki to Sila by a small passenger ferry (water bus). It departs from one of the piers of the Market Square from the beginning of May to the end of September. The territory is large, and good conditions have been created for animals. I recommend visiting the Pukki restaurant. Overall, there were positive emotions.
