Great hotel. With a gorgeous terrace overlooking Istanbul and the Golden Horn, there is a small swimming pool (unheated). The rooms are not large, but cozy with high carved ceilings, clean linen, TV,air conditioning and wifi , heating worked after 18.00 (it was in April), every day they cleaned up and threw out the garbage. The breakfasts are simple but good. Friendly staff. I definitely recommend it, as the location is gorgeous, everything is nearby.tram stop, metro, and everything is nearby within walking distance. the walking path to the hotel is too heavy for overweight people, into a steep hill along the serpentine. But Istanbul is all like that))) and so beautiful!
When searching for a hotel to stay in Istanbul, we read reviews about it.
Now our impressions.
The location is just great. The very center of the old town. Near the metro and bus and tram stops. Many people write that it is high and difficult to climb. It didn't seem that way to me. It is located really high on the mountain, but there were no difficulties with climbing. Rooms in old buildings, old doors, windows and ceilings. But it's clean enough (unless you count a little mold in the shower stall). The street was audible, but the hotel itself is located in a quiet location. The heating was even working and there were Russian-language channels on the TV.
The most important thing in my opinion is the view that opens from the terrace. That's the only reason you can and should stay at this hotel.
The breakfasts are excellent.
The staff is polite, there were no problems communicating in English.
I definitely recommend it.
It's a great place. It doesn't smell like a fresh renovation, but it's very cozy and fun. We enjoyed it. Breakfast is included, on the roof of a nearby hotel. It's not tasty, but it's beautiful. If you are a meticulous picky person, it's worth considering. Who came to enjoy, well done! I recommend
