It should be borne in mind that the country hotel is located thirty kilometers from the center of Bastia. You need to rent a car, or pay for a taxi of 50 euros one way. The nearest supermarket is 6 kilometers away. The hotel is on the outskirts of the local "country" village. The sandy beach is about 200 meters away (all beaches in Corsica are free). As a country hotel, Le Lido is very good! The rooms are comfortable, clean, and equipped with everything you need. (We lived in an apartment). Silence. Swallows (and kites) fly. The animals are running (cute, non-aggressive). The staff is very friendly. The breakfasts are plentiful. A good restaurant, popular with the locals. And a great pool!!! Umbrellas, sun beds, fragrant air and clean warm water... a branch of paradise! A convenient option for exploring Corsica.
