Convenient location. Everything is clean upon arrival. The number matches the photos. Change towels and take out the trash every day. Good repair, pleasant-looking interior colors. A wide shower stall (very convenient!), all plumbing works perfectly, hot water is constant. Normal lighting (there are no mercilessly economical light bulbs, as in some objects). There were no problems with WiFi Internet, it is stable. Our windows overlooked the courtyard, which has a fascinating authenticity - a rooster and hens are strolling, a goose quacked periodically below, and cats were walking. In the house opposite, there is a small women's shoe factory in the apartments, and craftsmen can sometimes be seen in the windows. I really liked all this, its own atmosphere, so to speak. Someone wrote that the area resembles a slum. This is not a slum, this is an old area of the city with its own atmosphere, which is why people go to this part of Istanbul.
A good grocery store is not far away (10 minutes at most), but you have to climb the mountain. It contains everything you need for a normal meal (sour milk, semi-finished meat products, vegetables, fruits, Ülker confectionery in assortment, Turkish tea and coffee and sweets for the gift, the name of the store on Yandex maps "Show Supermarket Çemberlitaş"). There are also shops and cafes near the apartments, but we didn't go to them much because of the low assortment.
The kitchen has all the necessary utensils (frying pan, saucepan, cutlery, cups). The bed linen is clean, the mattresses and pillows are comfortable. I was drinking Turkish tea on the balcony. There was a safe, but it wasn't used. There are a lot of local channels on TV, and we listened to local pop music for a while. The elevator in the building is fast, silent, and spacious. The important sights of Istanbul are within easy reach (10-15 minutes at a leisurely pace, Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet Mosque (Blue), Topkapi Palace), Eminenyu Pier (over the hill) and Galata Bridge in 20 minutes through super lively shopping streets and Grand Bazaar. Look for the nearest currency exchangers on the map, there is a Western Union nearby (it did not accept rubles in January 2025), the nearest ruble-to-lira exchangers are on the Grand Bazaar, there are a lot of them there, look for the one with the best exchange rate.
I would like to mention the staff separately, Khurshid met us and helped us with everything, polite, caring, speaks Russian. A pleasant young man.

We had a rest from 12/30/2024-01/8/2025. We are satisfied with everything: the proximity to all cultural sites, the presence of cafes and shops nearby, and the comfort in the room. We are very grateful to the Russian-speaking staff. Many thanks to my Wife for her attentive attitude and willingness to help. He not only provided clean towels and drinking water in a timely manner. He also helped with calling a taxi to the airport and provided comprehensive answers to almost all questions that arose. We constantly felt a good attitude and a desire to help. Thanks to my wife for the attitude, and to the hotel administration for the competent selection of staff. We definitely recommend it!
Great place! Believe me, we lived in different areas and in different hotels in Istanbul. This one is just a super luxury by local standards! There are no through holes in the walls, the beds do not fall apart, the tap water is flowing, and there is both cold and hot. The Internet works everywhere and without interruptions. You won't believe it, but even the water in the shower goes away normally)) How is this possible in Turkey? And the area turned out to be a buzz. There's a small road under the windows, so there's probably no noise by local standards. Further along the same street, cafes begin, where every evening there is a Brazilian carnival. And all you have in front of you is a park with a fountain and the cries of seagulls. Sultanahmet is a 15-minute walk away, and the Hippodrome is 5 minutes away, but up a steep mountain. It's uphill to Chamberlitash. It's a little bit of a circle to Aksaray, but it's flat. There are a million cafes around, and even 3 local "super market" types. The room has a stove and refrigerator, so you can cook. There are even dishes. But there is no microwave, but not critical. In short, we finally found an adequate place in Istanbul.
We rested from 02.12.2024-09.12.2024. The room service is super: they clean every day, change towels, take out the trash, add bath accessories. The number corresponds to the photo on the website. Russian-speaking staff, very helpful. There is an elevator. There is a park with a playground nearby. There are grocery stores, pharmacies, cafes with delicious food at affordable prices in the surrounding area. The T1 tram stop is 500 metres away. The metro stop is a 5-minute walk away. The rest was comfortable, we recommend staying here.
H&L Suites Apartments

This location is very good for living. Of course, we can't compare it with anything else, as this is our first time in Istanbul, but this place was very convenient for us.
Just across the street there is a shop, a cafe and a park with a fountain where incredibly delicious Balik-ekmek is prepared.
After walking a little bit, you find yourself on a street with a lot of cafes and shops, to pass by and not be inside is a whole quest, dragged away almost by force.🤣
On the second day, we laid out our route, bypassing the most persistent.
Istanbul itself is a city in which you constantly need to climb a hill or go down, so there were several routes from our place of residence to Fatih Square.
10-15 minutes rapidly uphill, then rapidly down,
Or 15-20 slowly maneuvering between the streets, more than once bumping into a dead end, and the slowest, but very beautiful, is to go down a little lower and walk along the embankment.
The location of the hotel is very convenient, you don't like to walk,
you go down a little to the embankment and there are buses in different directions.
Don't eat at the cafe,
buy groceries at the store and cook in the room.
There is even an alcohol market not far away, the price tag is certainly not very democratic, but in this country this is not surprising.
So:
The apartment has everything for cooking by yourself. A saucepan, a frying pan, a board, knives, utensils, plates and mugs, a kettle and a refrigerator.
There is no tea, no sugar and no salt, so if you check in late, when the store is already closed, do not expect to drink tea in the room.
The room is very small,
but we had enough space.

(Well, we didn't come to look out the window, so we weren't upset, on the contrary, we laughed every time the curtains were opened)
Every evening we returned to a tidy room, immaculately made beds and clean, snow-white towels. Shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer are also available.
At some point, we really began to miss paper towels in the kitchen, of course we bought them, but we lived there for almost a week. (Used up) And if it's for two nights, then towels for the face will be used... and one day they (towels) will stop being so snow-white and fluffy (
H&L Suites apartments - we advise you and we can say 100% that if we arrive in Istanbul again, we will not even look for other accommodation options.
Advantages : location, staff, comfort and coziness, daily towel change. Of the minuses: cleanliness (the floors were not washed in five days ) the general impression would be to return to these apartments .
