Gulf Court is my send home for sure,,staying there was worth it ,,,up on chech in with Miss Rhoda who gave me a nice room with free upgrade ,,always happy always smilling ,always asking if there is something she can do for us,,the hotel staff are friendly, the food s also wow
Overall, the hotel is not bad. I chose it based on its location to the business center. There is a river transport stop next to the hotel, which is a big plus! The subway is a long way away, and it wasn't necessary.
The breakfasts are delicious, but monotonous with a large selection of dishes. Cleaning for 4.
We arrived at 9 a.m. and were checked in at 11 a.m., even the room was upgraded with a good view of the canal. The administrator Alina helped us with this! Overall, we are satisfied.
I do not recommend this hotel:
1. Far from the metro, you will have to take a taxi to any attractions or take a taxi to the subway
2. Construction is underway around the hotel.
3. There are no balconies in the rooms. There are expensive rooms with terraces, but they do not face the river, which would be logical, but into the city, at the intersection of highways and at a construction site. The standard room has one small window, very dirty.
4. There is absolutely no place to dry things in the room. If you went to the beach, then bring everything from there is already dry, nothing dries in the room, and there is nowhere.
The food at the hotel is not bad, the rooms themselves are nice, the room has a kettle, refrigerator, iron, ironing board.
The only advantage of the hotel is that it is located on the canal embankment, there is a place to walk in the evening, admire the already completed buildings. Apparently, over time, this will be the second Dubai marina. The embankment is still under construction, but 5 meters from the shore is already equipped for walking and riding scooters.
I strongly recommend choosing hotels near the metro.
It's a minus right away- it's 37 minutes away from the Business Bay metro station, you'll always have to use a taxi.
We thought maybe by river transport, but it goes very rarely.
It is better to take only breakfast here (they are until 10.30), on the 4th floor, people will sleep in the morning and there will be a lot of them, but there is enough space. There are tables (strange) by the pool. People hardly swim in the pool.
The dinners are on an imposed menu, tasteless, and there are almost no people in the cafe. In addition, the English and Russian versions of the menu are different - there are fewer dishes in the Russian version.
The lobby was beautiful, it was New Year's Eve, polite and attentive staff at the reception.
But the room has a special trash- bathroom.
Blockages in the sink and bathroom.
It is most inconvenient to climb into the bathtub. If an elderly person, unfortunately, you will have to suffer ...
the bathroom itself is stained and dusty.
The creaking toilet lid is creepy.
There is no smell of sewage.
Towels for feet, for some reason, no, too, it is dangerous to get out of an uncomfortable bathroom. I don't know if they have it, in principle, or if they save money and don't give it.
Perhaps you can ask.
We stood on the slippers provided upon check-in.
Towels are also provided according to the mood.
They won't bring it for your hands, or for your body.
The linen was changed every day. The room is clean and nice. There are three-hole sockets, but there are also normal European ones next to them, near the bed.
The room has a refrigerator, a kettle, tea bags (for some reason they were sluggishly replenished), instant coffee and dry cream were brought every day, as well as two 0.5 bottles of water.
One day, we didn't have enough water, we asked for it, and they brought us 3 pcs.
Why choose this hotel?
In terms of price and quality, it was normal for the New Year.
Normally, no, she wouldn't have come back.
The hotel does not match the four stars.
They do not change the bed linen, they do not vacuum or wash the floors and plumbing in the room, they only wipe it with dirty rags, after which there are streaks. The decorative pillows on the bed were stained with some kind of stains. When cleaning, they take away wet towels and bathrobes, but do not give new ones. I had to call the reception every time and ask them to bring a clean one. The room is very stuffy and the windows do not open, there is only a hallway. The windows are large, but dirty.
For several days we could not return the change from the money for the deposit, they said that we did not leave the money. The issue was resolved only with the participation of the senior administrator.
Most of the breakfast food is Indian spicy cuisine, with lots of butter. There are few meat dishes.
We used the transfer to the beach twice (thanks for having it at all). Check out of the hotel at 10 a.m., return to the hotel at 3 p.m. They took us there normally, but they didn't take us back twice. the first time the transfer left 20 minutes earlier than planned, and the second time it did not arrive at all.
Otherwise, everything is fine.
In general, the hotel is like a hotel.
We stayed for a few nights.
The bed is large, the pillows are comfortable.
We took towels by the pool for the beach.
There are a couple of shops and a pharmacy 3-5 minutes from the hotel.
On the downside: it was very cold in the room. When I left, I turned off the air conditioner, but when we returned, the room was cold again.
I do not recommend this hotel.
The plumbing is in a tired state, and the sink drain is clogged.
The temperature in the room was 21 degrees.
There's a construction site around, it's very noisy and dusty
The staff at the hotel are also tired, they fulfilled all requests from the 10th time, the service is bad!
It's a long way to the metro, and the Dubai Mall is a 50-minute walk away.
We stayed in this hotel for 10 days, during the January period, the room was very cold. When asked to see why the split system wasn't heating up, the engineer shrugged and said it wouldn't get any warmer. When asked to provide a heater, they said that there was none. So we froze in the room for 10 days, periodically warming the air with a hairdryer and a kettle on.
One day, water flowed from the ceiling in the room, the entire floor in the toilet was flooded, I called the reception 3 times and asked to fix the problem, in the evening after a walk, returning to the room, we thought that everything had been fixed and cleaned, but no. We were greeted by a puddle of water on the floor and pieces of plaster in the bidet, after another call the cleaner came, swabbed, spread the dirt and left.
It was also my birthday on vacation, when we checked in, they told us that they would bring a cake and congratulate us, when arranging the tour, the travel agent also indicated this in the comments. Accordingly, there was no cake, the young man reminded me about it two more times at the reception, but it was of no use! The day after my birthday, I went to ask for a cake, but not because I needed it so much, but only out of principle, if I said do it! Almost a day later, we got the cake, the plate from under it was in the room for a few more days, because the cleaner did not clean it.
The breakfasts at the hotel are of the same type, the same thing every day, but you can choose, probably this is the only plus, as well as a warm pool.
The hotel does NOT correspond to the 4 declared stars at all!!!
An extremely pleasant hotel. Excellent staff. The windows look towards the Burj Khalifa and the canal, along which boats periodically sail. And in general, walking along this canal is one pleasure. There is a shuttle service to the beach and Dubai Mall.
The area itself is quite quiet, which is both a plus and a minus. There are very few places in the area where you can go. A couple of local restaurants and a few simple shops. Of some familiar establishments, only Starbucks in the lobby of one of the neighboring hotels.
To get to the subway, McDuck or KFS, you need to walk about a kilometer in one direction, and then return to the hotel.
Breakfasts in the hotel itself are standard for any high-quality chain hotel, you will definitely find something to your liking, you will not stay hungry. I was very pleased with the masala tea. Very tasty!
A cool hotel, cozy rooms, despite the fact that 4* everything is super! We had a view from the windows of the canal and could see the Burj Khalifa Tower. There is a swimming pool, a gym with modern equipment. Breakfast (buffet)- it is diverse, there is always everything. The room is cleaned daily.
The hotel itself is located on the canal embankment, on foot to the Tower and Dubai Mall ± 4km in one direction (and ± 5km in the other), it depends where to go left or right)). By taxi ±25 dirhams to the Tower. There are restaurants and cafes nearby where you can have dinner. There is a minimarket about 100m away.
A standard room does not justify 4 stars of the hotel, a maximum of 3. The room was constantly cold, despite the air conditioner turned off. It is inconvenient to climb into the bathroom because of the glass door that opened in front of the toilet. The Wi-Fi provided a speed of 80\60 mbit/sec. You can take a beach towel by the pool and go to the beach.
A good hotel for your money.
I'm taking off a star for the service in the pool area, I can't wait for breakfast. No one will cook it for you 20 minutes before it ends.
If it weren't so sad, I wouldn't have written- the hotel is of course for 4! But! Windows do NOT OPEN, from the word at all, if the air conditioner is working, it is very cold, if it is turned off, you suffocate. It's damp, it smells so bad and cockroaches are walking! There is nothing within walking distance - the nearest exchanger is in the Dubai Mall and it takes at least an hour to go there. No one speaks Russian at all, but that's okay! After checking in three people in 2 rooms - an hour later a call from the reception desk - let the guest leave the room- where are the cameras? In the rooms? If he doesn't leave, I'm calling security!!!!! No apologies!!! Firstly, you yourself registered us an hour ago, there are not so many people in the hotel to forget, and secondly, even if a guest - why do you have the right to expel???? I had to get dressed and go down to explain that the guest is a resident of this hotel!
Breakfast is not included - it is paid separately!
How many times have there been no questions - they have never helped - they are not aware, then there is no information, no one has ever smiled! There is no water at the reception!
Whether the transfer to the beach will come or not, no one knows! They didn't bring the letter on their return transfer either - I ran to find out myself!
Something like this...
The location, the staff, the Food are all very good, the view from the window to the Burj Khalifa, but there are also disadvantages: very dirty windows, scuffed interior and crooked repair, all this hurts the eye, the air conditioning system lives its own life
A small but very cozy hotel! The rooms are chic, comfortable bed, nice interior, all the amenities in the room are there! Very good breakfast buffet, pleasant atmosphere. The location is generally not bad, there is a bus stop nearby, from which you can safely get to the metro. The metro is nearby, but it is inconvenient to walk because of the water channel, but by bus the time to the metro takes about 10 minutes.
The hotel is super!
Spacious and comfortable rooms.
The bride and I really liked it.
Excellent service, especially liked the work of Maria Ivanova and administrator Michael.
A good hotel for your money, with a good breakfast. The room was given a large living room - a wonderful girl at the reception offered to upgrade herself.
Amazing breakfast!
The room is spacious, there are many additional accessories in the bathroom
Great gym with views
There was a long check-in, but it did not overshadow the stay
I really liked the hotel, located opposite the canal where the yachts of the rich sail in the evenings, an hour's walk from the Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall.25min from the metro.restaurants, hookah bars, supermarkets, gyms are located along the canal.
The service is at the highest level.
A variety of food for both breakfast and dinner.buffet.everything is delicious, little spicy.a huge selection of desserts.
The room has all the necessary appliances-iron, hairdryer, kettle, refrigerator,TV. Every day they bring 0.5 liters of water per person, add shampoos, teas, etc.
On the 4th floor there is a swimming pool with a bar and a relaxation area, a steam room,a sauna, a gym, a restaurant, everything is free.
Always friendly reception and service.the staff, there are Russian speakers.
Transfer to the beach.La mer beach is fully equipped with clothing stores, restaurants, hookahs, etc.
I liked everything, everything is cool, we will come again)
We had a rest in November 2018. The rooms are excellent , the breakfast buffet - there is both European and Asian cuisine . Dubai Fashion is 4.2 km away. on foot across the canal, you can take the bus (stop next to the hotel) to the metro, by taxi 20-25 dirhams. Russian Russian girls who take turns working at the reception, there are also two Russian-speaking young men from the staff. The staff is friendly, always ready to help. We had a rest with my wife , we were very satisfied
Nice new hotel with excellent service. Of the minuses: unstable WiFi in the rooms, the range of food for breakfast is not very large, the complete lack of infrastructure within a radius of 700 meters. If you don't have a car, you should look for another hotel.
