We had a rest from June 29 to July 7 with a large family of five people. I must say right away that we liked everything - the rest was a success. I would like to express my deep gratitude to Diana, who helped with the transfer and promptly resolved all issues that arose. I also want to express my gratitude to Natalia for her sensitive and attentive attitude towards the guests. The room is large, bright, clean and cozy, with a balcony. Everyone had their own bed. Large bathroom. The room also had everything you need: refrigerator, kettle, microwave, air conditioning, TV with digital channels and wifi. It should also be noted that the hotel is located in a quiet location. The only sound was the singing of birds. Thanks for the rest! I recommend.

Very clean and cozy hotel. For those who want to wash and cook, everything is free. The hostess of the hotel is caring and friendly. The location is good - there is no noise from the road and vacationers, the air is drier than on the coast, while the sea is close, there is a pharmacy and a store nearby.

We had a family vacation (4 people) at the Gorny Ruchey guest house for the first time in July 2024. If you are also traveling with your family and want to relax in peace, then you are here. There will be no noisy and boisterous companies that do not give rest to their fun. The hostess Natalia met us – a very kind, attentive woman. She takes care of her guests. Keeps everything clean. You can safely turn to her for help. It will help in any way it can. We were very lucky, as Natalia provided a room with a balcony for 5 people (it was free for the period of our vacation), although we booked a room for four without a balcony. No additional payment was required!The room has everything you need: a large refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, TV, Internet, bathroom in the room, iron on the floor, 2 washing machines, a good shared kitchen. The location of the guest house is good. Two minutes from the house there is a shop, a dining room, a cafe. Not far from Nartaa Square there is a minibus stop where you can go to any place, shops, a pharmacy. If you are interested, right there (next to the table of the guide Irina, who also helped us once) under the railway bridge, you can buy homemade milk, salted cheese and compotes from the good woman Inga) They took it many times and ordered it to take it home). It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the sea to the nearest beach. There are mostly pebbles and it is not as picturesque as if you go to a distant sandy beach for about 15-20 minutes through a Seaside park. Very beautiful promenade, mountain view and clear sea. There were very few people on the beach this year. This is not Gelendzhik, Sochi or Adler, where standing places have ended. Regarding the food: you should not count on delicious food in any cafe or restaurant in Abkhazia, but we found one place that looks simple, but the food here is really delicious. This is the summer cafe "Oriental Taste" on the embankment of the Old Gagra. See reviews on Yandex.Maps. We definitely plan to return to the Old Gagra to Natalia in the "Mountain Stream".
