Beautiful nature all around. Everything is green.
In the cell itself, one feels that the place is salted, bright, and clean.
It was hard to get up in the heat.
Some dipped into the spring. But the water seemed icy to me. I didn't risk such temperature fluctuations.

The cave - grotto of Simon Kananita is located on an elevation near the Psyrtskha River. According to legend, one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ, Simon the Zealot (or Cananite), lived in this place. He is revered as an educator of Abkhazia, who worked hard to spread Christian teaching and preaching. Initially, it was the cell in which Simon Kananit lived. Later it became a chapel. There are many different icons on its walls, among which the most revered is the image of Simon the Cananite, made of mosaics. Visitors to the cave can pray, read the akathist, talk to the caretaker and get comfort and answers to their questions. According to your faith, you will be rewarded!
