We had a vacation in September with two families. A nice guest house with comfortable and clean rooms, where everything is available and everything works: hall..k, hair dryer, air conditioning, TV. Availability of Wi-fi. There were no surprises with the shutdown of water and light, as they say about other hotels. The hosts, Olga and Oleg, are warm, friendly with Russian hospitality. There were no problems with overnight check-in. Eucalyptus trees grow near the hotel. There is a swimming pool in the courtyard, a barbecue area, which is also a huge plus. The nearest beach is 5-7 minutes by walking distance. The beach is huge: There is no such thing as "your head is my heel", as in all the center. beaches. If desired, you can walk to the neighboring equipped beaches, as well as take a walk through the territory of the Boxwood grove. The sea is gorgeous, clean. There are shops and canteens nearby. We rode around Abkhazia - the beauty is extraordinary! In general, we spent our vacation with a BANG! I was pleased with everything!

We had our first vacation in Abkhazia and are very glad that we stayed with Olga and Oleg. Friendly, unobtrusive and responsive people. The rooms are clean and fully equipped (air conditioning, TV, hairdryer, refrigerator, shower and toilet). Special thanks to Olya for the delicious and hearty breakfasts. There is a swimming pool on site. It is 5 minutes to the sea, near canteens and restaurants with delicious cuisine.

The best guest house in Abkhazia.
My story of meeting Olga, the owner of this wonderful corner of coziness and comfort.
I found this place on the recommendation of a friend, since I have never been to Abkhazia and heard all sorts of unpleasant moments ....
Olya immediately answered, told me in detail how to get to the border, we ourselves are from Maykop, described the place in great detail, sent a photo, was always in touch, answered all my questions, She met us at the border.
Anyone who has not been to Abkhazia on their own transport will understand how important this is!
She spread everything out for us, showed us along the way, advised us.
The rooms are comfortable, all amenities, clean water directly from the tap, clean linen, care and love are felt everywhere.
Delicious and varied breakfasts in the morning.
I was calm for our stomachs, that everything was fresh and high-quality, and delicious.

When you're alone in a strange area, it's expensive.

We got into this guest house by accident. We were driving into the unknown and asked the taxi driver to bring us to a quiet place. That's how we ended up in Greenwood. We were in the first half of September. The hosts are Russian, friendly and helpful. We liked the rooms because they have a shower, toilet, hairdryer, refrigerator, air conditioning. Wi-Fi. In front of each room on the terrace there is a table, chairs, electric kettle. The air is not damp (as it was felt in other places where it smelled damp and mildew) without extraneous odors. A house by the road and passing cars can be heard. We solved this problem by keeping the window closed and adjusting the temperature with the air conditioner. Therefore, there was no discomfort in this regard. The beach is 5 minutes away, although wild, but it was he who completely satisfied us: there are few people, there are small pebbles on the beach and the entrance to the sea is convenient even when the sea is a little stormy. There are cobblestones on the beach in other places, but it's nice here. At our request, Olga took us to other beaches. The central beach of Pitsunda is good in 10 minutes. the ride. The bus stop is nearby. Even minibuses stopped in front of their house. Shops, cafes and a pharmacy are nearby. We had a vacation in Greenwood with our sons in August! Comfortable room, pleasant interior, air conditioning. Wonderful hosts Oleg and Olga! Hospitable, funny and helpful people! They always helped us in everything. Olga cooked delicious breakfasts (the youngest son is terribly fastidious, but ate Olina's porridge with pleasure). Special thanks to Oleg for an individual excursion to Lake Ritsa. The sea is nearby, you can go two ways (in a straight line through the village, but the beach is wild there) and a little longer, but through the Boxwood Grove boarding house, there are sun beds, a shower, and most importantly you go through a beautiful park, in the shade! We had a rest in July 2023. A great break from the hustle and bustle of the city. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay: cozy rooms, a warm atmosphere, friendly hosts. Olga can help with the selection and registration for excursions.
A big plus is the breakfast included in the price and the transfer from and to.
The sea is clear, sometimes even warm, a ten-minute walk away. The beach is sandy and pebbly.

Good day! We, a family of 3 people, vacationed in this guest house in August of this year. The hosts, Oleg and Olga, are Russian, very friendly. We searched for the hotel back in the spring, we reread a lot of information. We stopped at Greenwood and, most importantly, did not regret it later. We made an advance payment for 3 days and waited for the vacation. They have a transfer, they met us at the railway station in Adler. The rooms are clean. Breakfast is included, it is edible and this is a big plus, even the child liked it. There is a swimming pool in the courtyard, very clean and warm water, if you do not want to go to the sea. The sea is also nearby, 10 minutes walking distance. The center of Pitsunda is 5 km away, there is a bus stop near the house, it is not a problem to leave. There are also 3 shops and 2 cafes nearby. The rooms have their own bathroom.bathroom and shower, TV, refrigerator and Internet. Olga, if requested, organized excursions around Abkhazia. And the biggest plus is that large eucalyptus trees grow next to the house, the smell is indescribable. It's a small inconvenience that the hotel is located near the road, and it's a little noisy, but you get used to it quickly. They also escorted us back. Many thanks to Olga and Oleg for a decent rest! We recommend this hotel for accommodation. The vacation in Abkhazia was simply amazing!

We rested at the hotel for the second time. Last year and in August 2023 with grandchildren, the owners are charming and attentive guys.The rooms are excellent, clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast in the morning. The beaches are not far away and suit every taste.

If you are a resident of a megalopolis - a decent option. Quite voluminous and varied breakfasts are included. Booked for 8 days. The first night after 18 hours of the trip, we slept more or less (room 9 on the 3rd floor). The second night we did not sleep almost completely. The reason is the proximity of the Pitsunda highway (6 m from the hotel) and a broken window (it was not pressed tightly). We had to move to another hotel.
The recommendation to the owner is to install at least sound-absorbing panels at the ends of the terraces. Not much, but it should help. And so - only the installation of three-chamber double-glazed windows.

Near the beach within walking distance and the beach cafes of the nearest boarding house in a boxwood grove, it's beautiful! Separately, I want to note how surprised we were by the help from Oleg, the owner of this house, while in Adler we sank an oar from a surfboard and just when we were already in Abkhazia, the oar washed ashore. Oleg offered us to pick up an oar in Adler along the way, but still, now such care is certainly not to be found. So I recommend the place to everyone also because you will be visiting very friendly and open people, which is very rare now!

Probably the only significant disadvantage is the location on the road. Constant movement and noise (at night, of course, less). While fresh in my memory, I want to write a review about the Greenwood guest house, the owners of the house Oleg and Olga are very hospitable, our hospitality is felt in them, not Abkhazian, because they very often met local unwelcoming hosts, especially in cafes or private shops. The rooms are clean, the mattresses are soft, there is a refrigerator, a kettle in the room, a chest of drawers, a bedside table, a hanger with hangers for clothes, everything is spacious. For the first time we accidentally got to Greenwood, but we were satisfied, the road is nearby, there is noise from the road, but it did not bother us and the child too, we slept with the windows open, on the contrary it lulled us to sleep, such a monotonous noise, and we urban residents simply did not notice it. But I say, only for us, it's probably different for everyone. The breakfasts are delicious, I don't eat porridge, but I was full, there are always pancakes or something else for the main course. Olga is well done, she will always ask how we rest, where we went, they are very friendly.. I recommend it. The beach is wild nearby, the beach of the sanatorium is ennobled.

Vacationed here with my wife in September 2023.
I liked the room, Wi-Fi catches, there are no problems with water. In the morning, the hostess prepares delicious breakfasts. On tap, you could buy a good dry wine.
Nearby is the Boxwood Grove sanatorium, where my wife and I went for procedures. There is a dining room next to it with quite tasty homemade food, i.e. there were no problems with dinners.

Sunny Abkhazia is one of our favorite places to relax, and it is not the first year that we have been staying at Oleg's Greenwood Guest House, thank you so much for your hospitality, it is, as always, on top. The hotel is located under huge eucalyptus trees, the air is gorgeous. The sea is close, the beach is clean, sparsely populated, there is a Boxwood Park nearby. Good afternoon. I would like to thank the owner of this guest house Oleg and his entire team who work there for the benefit of vacationers. A great guest house, with excellent and comfortable rooms. We traveled as a family, me, my husband and two children of 14 years and 1.5 years old. Everyone was comfortable and well. Normally, there are all amenities satellite TV, air conditioning, bathroom, Wi-Fi, kettle, refrigerator. Since we have a small child and there was a need to heat the food, the owner provided us with a bottle warmer. For that, a huge human thank you to him. You can also order breakfast at this guest house. Each room has a table where you can sit and breathe the beautiful air. This guest house has a washing machine, ironing board and iron. On the territory of the guest house, there is a great playground where children can play and run. Eucalyptus and coniferous trees grow along the perimeter of the house. Nearby there is a very tasty dining room "Irina", where you can have a great meal at reasonable prices. There are shops, a pharmacy and various other cafes not far away. A five-minute walk from the house there are beaches wild and more landscaped. But we went wild. The sea is gorgeous, warm, clean, the beach is half pebbly and half sandy. Every day during our trips to the beach, we observed dolphins there. The eldest son, and we ourselves were delighted. We enjoyed our stay in this guest house very much. I think we'll go back there more than once 😁👍

The house itself is located by the road, the noise from the cars is simply unbearable. Plastic windows are installed, the most dishmanlike, the noise may be slightly muffled, but it is not possible to sleep at night, yes there is a condom, but you do not really want to sleep under the condom, it is easy to catch a cold, open the windows, too, the noise from passing cars is not heard. There is no wardrobe or chest of drawers in the room, in short there is nothing but a bed and a small bedside table. Yes, there is a TV that does not show. There is Wi-Fi, which is probably the only fat plus. And the neighbors told us the password, because the owners of the house were not up to us. There was no refrigerator either. The mattress on the bed is terribly uncomfortable, after your vacation, your back hurt for another month.
