Grace Aqua Villa Hotel is located in Sukhum, Abkhazia. This is a wonderful hotel with cozy rooms, an excellent restaurant and a spa complex. The hotel has a warm and clean swimming pool, as well as a hammam. The girls at the reception are always ready to help and answer questions.
The food at the hotel is varied and delicious. The room service is good, and the hotel itself is new and clean. The room has a sea view. Two kind dogs, Bella and Chernyshka, live on the territory of the hotel.

Very nice hotel!!! We arrived three hours before arrival, we were provided with all the conditions:food,pool,beach. Everything is fine at the hotel:The whole staff is very good-natured!!! The only small disadvantage is that on the beach strangers occupy sun beds intended for vacationers of our hotel.!And so everything is just super!!!Thank you so much for the comfort, warmth and kindness!!! Probably one of the best hotels on the coast in Sukhumi. New, a lot is still in the process. Neat, stylish. The room is comfortable, clean, spacious. Breakfast is buffet style, there is enough of everything. There is a small SPA and a gym. The capacity is 6 people at a time (2 treadmills). The view from the rooms overlooking the sea is beautiful, even despite the construction. The beach is a pebble. Of the cons. The service is still at 4. There were not enough individual programs in the SPA, massages, etc. And in winter it is quite cool everywhere, both in the room and in the corridors of the SPA. I was disappointed that they smoke in the room above the SPA, the smell is felt below. I was surprised by the height of the shower stand, with a height of 1.61 I had to bend over)) In general, I liked everything.

We stayed at the hotel in July 2024. An excellent hotel, not at all inferior to resort hotels in European countries. A cozy room with a balcony, clothes dryer, ironing board and iron, electric kettle and tea and coffee bags. There are enough lamps and sockets in different corners. Windows overlooking the sea, cleaning every day, linen change regularly, appliances (TV, refrigerator, safe, air conditioning) worked properly. I read in the reviews that there are power and water outages in Sukhum - there was no such thing in our room for 11 days of stay. The hotel staff is friendly and in general the people in Sukhum in different places are extremely friendly and hospitable - you will not find this everywhere. Wi-Fi was installed on our phones at the reception, because Internet roaming in Abkhazia without Wi-Fi is VERY expensive. I liked the food in the restaurant - everything is cooked with high quality and delicious. The hotel is small, there are few people, so we always found free places in the restaurant, on the sun beds by the pool or on the beach near the sea. The sea is clean, the beach is pebbly, you need to take special sneakers with you for walking on pebbles. The pool is heated, there is also a free sauna nearby, a relaxation room with tea. We went to drink beer in a cafe 200 meters from the hotel, the local beer is not bad. There, in a nearby store, they bought local red sparkling wine in bottles at a price 2 times cheaper than in Moscow. There is no embankment with a promenade near the hotel, we usually like to walk in the evening, but somehow it turned out that it did not bother us. We took a taxi or bus to the center of Sukhum, and walked there. It is unrealistic to walk to the center - it is long and inconvenient. We read about the destroyed and abandoned houses in the city. Yes, some places require repair, but I would not say that there are a lot of abandoned buildings and they are conspicuous. Probably because you pay more attention to the beautiful nature, greenery, mountains, sea, so it's quite comfortable to walk. We walked along the embankment, green parks and squares, visited the Botanical Garden. The overall impression of Sukhum, as a beautiful city, remained good. We took an excursion to New Athos, we liked everything, especially the caves - this is generally something unique compared to the caves that we visited in other countries. We traveled by train to Sukhum and back, passed the border without difficulty, Abkhazia in general and the Grace Aqua Villa hotel in particular we liked.

Dogs, they are everywhere in Sukhumi, and even here at the hotel. They rush, bark ...It's scary. One attacked the child. Unpleasant. I think they need to be isolated from this place somehow.

Very good breakfast: buffet, it is quite possible to have dinner in the restaurant. It is located on the very outskirts of the city. This is both a plus and a minus. You need to get to the center either by taxi (400 rubles) or by public transport (10 rubles, 15 minutes), which rarely goes. But on the other hand, in the evening there is silence, only the sound of the sea. The only thing that disappointed me was the reception desk. I booked very much in advance, first for 8 nights, and extended it for another night on the same day. Neither upon arrival nor later was they warned about anything, but after 8 nights at 12 o'clock there was a knock on the door: and they were evicted from the room. I had to sit in the hotel lobby in a bathrobe for 2 hours while they put me in another room. For one night! I would have known in advance, I would not have extended the reservation.

It was not the first time we had a vacation in Abkhazia, we chose it for a long time and chose this one according to reviews. We rested in a suite at the hotel. The room is spacious and modern. It's all clear. Wi-Fi is available throughout the territory.
It took a very long time to choose a hotel. The choice fell on this one, as it was prescribed that the hotel has an all-inclusive system (breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks). It was important, because we were vacationing with a child. In fact, it turned out that there are no snacks from the word at all.Of the drinks, only cucumber water and water with lemon. Photos are attached.
The coffee machine was almost always turned off. Upon check-in, there was a pleasant compliment from the hotel - champagne and a plate of fruit.
I'll tell you everything in order. The pool is always warm and clean. This is a huge plus. But there are no promised sunbeds on the seashore. For three days in a row, they asked when they would appear, they promised to exhibit tomorrow, since the season had just begun. But there was no tomorrow. On the fourth day, on request, closer to 11, several sunbeds were still taken out.We bought a ticket during the season, not in May. At 8.40 am, you need to beg for sun beds, since the working day of the one who takes them out begins at 9. But even at 9, you won't ask for anything yet - there is nothing. And if you ask, they say it's hard to wait?
The rooms are cleaned very carefully and well. There are no complaints. Although for some reason, on the third day of rest, they stopped leaving shampoos, gels and soap. After they made a remark, they began to leave it.
There are a lot of Mosquitoes in the room, they refused to give a fumigator. Instead of lying by the pool, I had to go to the market and buy a fumigator. Daily complaints did not help, no one responded.
There were also ants in the room, so when you get home you will have to sort things outside the house so that they do not get into the house.
The breakfasts at the hotel are delicious and varied. But you can't say that about lunch and dinner. Very little choice. The only plus is that it is delicious at home. And again, after buying an all-inclusive ticket, you have to go and eat for a fee. Some days they went hungry.
If you are a meat lover, then you are not here, since there is almost nothing except cutlets and pork goulash. The food of the day. For tea, there are only dried cookies that you can't look at without tears. There is a very poor choice of food - the price and quality do not correspond to reality. For a ticket worth 24,000 per day, you will be fed pasta and cabbage salad.And how do you like fish cooked with scales? The photo is attached.This is just too much. We complained and received a compliment in the room - a plate of fruit and lemonade. It's nice, but we stayed hungry. But also the drum roll is a worm or I do not know who it is, but it was alive in a bowl with clean spoons. I am attaching a photo. My son was ordered a couple of times at a restaurant, as there was nothing to eat for the child.
There are no evening Programs either, the only entertainment is the pool. Not even the music is on.
Having a gym is a plus. A hammam and a sauna are also a very big plus, at least to entertain yourself with something. By the way, the hammam also stopped working for some reason.
Upon arrival, they said that there was a tennis table - we never found it. More precisely, they found it, but it is folded.
There is a mini-shop on the next street, where you can buy ice cream and lemonades (if you are with children and they want something)
Conclusion the hotel is all inclusive - in reality everything is off 😃😃😃

A wonderful hotel! The rooms are beautiful and cozy. The sea view from the windows is amazing! The only thing is that there is no threshold at the front door to the room and the audibility from the common corridor is very strong. The territory is not large, but very cozy. The pool is cool! The food is modest, but delicious. Massage therapist Irina is a very sincere woman, she went through all the most painful points. After the massage, there is a pleasant lightness. After two days of staying at the hotel, it seemed like I was resting for a week.

Very disappointed in this place! We paid 24 thousand a day for a standard room with an additional place for a child. We had a rest from September 28 to October 1.
It all started with parking - it's just a pile of rubble - not refined - it's inconvenient to walk and drive in.
Garbage is burned nearby - the stench is terrible every evening.
Cars arrive near the hotel and turn on music in the evenings.
Dogs! They run into the hotel grounds - they woke up at 3 a.m. from the heart-rending barking of a bunch of dogs.
Next - repairs starting at 8 a.m. - bumps, noise, knocking.
In general, if you want to sleep peacefully at night and in the morning, spend your evenings comfortably - you are not here.
The food and service are very modest, like in the dining room.
The spa center is a more pleasant experience - there is a children's room with toys and a TV. The pool on the first day of rest was warm and comfortable for relaxation, on the second the temperature was lower, it was cool.
Nice hammam and sauna.
The garbage is being cleaned, but not quickly. There was an old piece of orange lying next to the sunbed for an hour, and a cigarette butt the next day by the pool. It seems that all the garbage from the evening remains the next day- until you ask to remove it.
Weddings! Weddings are allowed here on Friday, Saturday, Sunday mornings - a crowd of people comes in, take pictures, we sit having breakfast and a lot of people come in…
There is no shower or changing room on the beach.
Of course we had a rest, but I can't recommend it.

The best grace hotel of them all in Abkhazia. The view from the Suite is simply magnificent, a giant terrace with sofas. Find a hotel that provides first-class service, has a large heated swimming pool with access from the hotel, and even a full-fledged hammam and sauna, while leaving the hotel directly to the sea!!! There are no such, don't waste time searching, I've already spent it - this is the best hotel. We were in November and I swam in the sea, the water was 19 degrees, and then from the sea immediately to the hammam, what a pleasure!!! There are no other hotels nearby and in fact there will be mostly hotel guests on the beach.
As a recommendation - if possible, you must take a sea view, how great it is to sit on the balcony enjoying the amazing view and the sound of the surf on the balcony with the exit from the room, drinking strong morning coffee or evening strong, but not coffee anymore)))
On nutrition. We took included breakfasts. Buffet-style products, everything is fresh and delicious, there is everything you need for a full breakfast, which lasts up to 11 hours. For dinner, we took the restaurant menu, beef cheeks just melted in my mouth! The portions are large. French fries are fire, they pampered themselves with it every time. For your information, the policy of the institution allows with its alcohol, the cork fee is 500 rubles., I think for some it will be interesting)
The service is excellent. Special thanks to the guys from the restaurant.
We also really liked the room itself, beautiful, modern, clean as in an operating room. Bathrobes, towels, gels, shampoos, etc., everything is there. Two bottles of water, two bags of coffee and two bags of tea were already in the room. There are no problems with water at all, there is also a cooler on the floor.

I categorically do not recommend this hotel!
It all started with the fact that we arrived from Sochi to the hotel by the time we checked in. We booked one night using the Ultra All Inclusive system, I just wanted to rest for at least a day. The first and most unpleasant thing is that at first they refused to feed us, arguing that they had lunch from 13 to 15, and check-in only from 15.00. And before that, I specifically clarified the moment with food on the hotline! When we were outraged by this fact, we were offered to make a couple of sandwiches and wait for dinner. Separately, I did not like the fact that the administrator of the dining room turned out to be an outright boor. After all this, we even decided to cancel the reservation and look for another hotel, but the hotel administrator still handled the situation. We were fed, but the waiter's serving of dishes is not even the bottom, and not even the level of the station canteen ... (see photo)
The kitchen at dinner and breakfast is very mediocre. Just to eat, without any imagination.
The room is a separate story... When I pointed to this star in the bathroom, (see photo)No one even reacted! And this, by the way, is a junior suite!!! The cabinets are uncomfortable, there is nowhere to hang long things (see photo), the doors do not hang smoothly, even the refrigerator is wobbly... the handles on all the doors are loose, and not only in the room but all over the hotel.
The spa area was also disappointing. Of the declared swimming pool, sauna, hammam and cedar barrel, only the pool and sauna worked.
And even a compliment from the hotel in the form of a bottle of apple wine and a fruit plate did not correct my attitude towards the hotel in any way

The first thing I want to write about is the rooms, we lived in a two-room suite: the room is new, clean, large, with panoramic windows overlooking the sea, everything you need is in the room. We cleaned the room every day, special thanks to the cleaners, they do their job efficiently and kindly, which we really liked.
By food: delicious, varied, appetizing, fresh, for every taste and color. I would also like to express my gratitude to the restaurant staff Inge Abukhba and Ramil for their impeccable service and hospitality, thanks to such employees, I want to be in this hotel again and again.

I have previously been to 5 hotels of the Grace series, I can tell you for sure that this is the best option in terms of service, novelty, and in relation to guests. I advise everyone to relax in this unforgettable hotel on the Black Sea coast, Grace Imperial on Krasnaya Polyana is inferior to it.
The most disgusting hotel in the Grace series is Nairi, however, a completely different story and a different review (the service does not match the level of the Grace chain hotels).

We were in Abkhazia, we booked this hotel because, as they said, there is an outdoor heated pool, we wanted to swim because it is still cold in the sea. The hotel itself is located on the first coastline, but you need to go to it through the slums, that's fine, but what a disappointment it was when we arrived there and the reception said that the pool was not working, it was on preventive maintenance. After a long journey and terrible fatigue, it was devastating to receive such news. The hotel itself is good, of course there are nuances, but this does not spoil the overall picture. The restaurant is small, the menu is meager, in our time there was no beef at all, and accordingly there were no half of the dishes. But the manager made us a lot of discounts on accommodation, bonuses and solved the issue with the pool, they have a second hotel 15 minutes away from ours, there was a pool there. But the hotel itself is not open yet, and the two of us were there, it's great, people are generally very friendly, good-natured. In general, the situation has improved in our favor. In general, I recommend the hotel, but before you go there, find out all the details at the hotel itself at the reception by direct phone.

Pool temp 29. It's not enough when it's plus 10 outside, it was cool. 32-33 degrees would be ideal. We would love to come again.

It's a disgusting place. The hammam does not work, the food is ugly, if you think that "all inclusive" is all inclusive, then it is not so, for lunch and dinner you will be served the same thing, drinks (this is compote in 2 carafes) are warm, and this is in summer. For lunch, steamed meatballs, steamed fish and mashed potatoes, and 2 soups to choose from, summer salad, pickles, cucumber, sauerkraut, but most of all I was amused by overseas zucchini caviar, the hotel's feature is probably baked croissant (deshmansky, old from a Dobrotsen type store, you need to gnaw the dough) but there is a choice, a cake "metropolis", fruits (apples, a handful of grapes, half a melon (whoever managed to eat it), the main thing is canned peas and corn. The pool and rooms are good, the beach is terrible, there is nowhere to walk, there is a construction site nearby. In short, guys, this hotel is just a dilution, it's much better to settle anywhere without food and there will be a lot of good places nearby where you will eat and drink delicious cocktails and local delicious compote. Don't waste money on this place.

I want to support the new hotel and I will put 5* in advance. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are spacious, everything is there. We didn't regret taking the sea view, it's worth it. The chirping of cicadas and the sound of the sea are amazing. There are sun beds and umbrellas on the beach.
There is one drawback - it's food. Breakfasts are still nothing, but lunches and dinners are just a disaster. This is not the "all inclusive" level, this is the "you won't starve" level. Either it is necessary to reduce the cost, or bring it to the level of Grace in Sochi.
Let's see if they improve next year. If so, we will be happy to come again.

We had a rest in July. The hotel is new, the rooms are excellent, the beach is clean, there are few people. Everything is done for a comfortable stay. The breakfasts are good, but the lunches and dinners are full of darkness.A very small selection of everything and tasteless. Please treat our feedback with understanding, that we would like to get back to you.
I would also like to mention the hotel staff, they are all very attentive, they try very hard.
