I highly recommend this hotel for lovers of a relaxing holiday without noisy animations and children's screams.
It is a small but very well maintained and beautiful territory. There are many relaxation areas, comfortable sun beds, seashells by the pool and the sea. Excellent service on the beach. They didn't have time to finish their drinks, they immediately brought new ones, but then tips are decided)
I would like to mention the food separately, it is wonderful. There is a large selection of seafood and fruits every day. Delicious drinks. I highly recommend trying their strawberry and classic mojitos.
There is a great coffee shop that is open all day (Verona cafe), there are good desserts, ice cream and delicious coffee. Everything is delicious in the restaurants too, I advise you to book and go.
The disadvantages are tired umbrellas and wind protection on the beach. Sometimes there was barely warm water in the room instead of hot.
My impressions of the hotel were positive, I would have come back here again.
The hotel has a great territory and a great location, the food is just great: blue cheese, red fish, shrimps, squid, meat, sea fish, fresh fruits - all without complaints!!!! The beach is great, but the proximity of the yacht parking can be confusing (the purity of the water). We had a room with a private pool, but the pools are hardly cleaned.… The bed linen, towels, curtains are terribly dirty and old!!!!! It's just a nightmare! Room cleaning is also at 3-, but the on-site service is excellent! Waiters are running around, bringing drinks. There is no animation!!!!! Silence... 80% of the tourists are Germans. The Internet is only on reception, very weak. Great food, unfortunately, cannot compensate for all the disadvantages(((((
I didn't like the hotel. I won't recommend it, and I won't go on my own. And above all because of the general atmosphere. I'll explain. 90% of the vacationers are very elderly Germans, in front of whom they jump on their hind legs. They pay tips at every opportunity, for every glass of drink, every towel brought (and all this is worn exclusively by waiters and employees, you can't take anything yourself, that's the concept of the hotel). As a result, if you don't tip right and left, you're not a person here. Russians are not liked or respected here, sometimes they just openly laugh. It's unpleasant. One day we came to an a la carte restaurant, the waiters talked to each other, found out that they were Russians, grinned and put us in the farthest corner, where it was uncomfortable and ugly. We were just stunned. (By the way, there are no a la carte restaurants there at all, especially Indian ones - it's just some kind of hole, a diner. Don't go).
Another episode. Upon check-in, we were offered a room with a sea view for $50. We didn't need it and we refused. As a result, we were put in a room that probably wasn't used by anyone, as everything was broken there, and there was no hot water (4246). I had to go and make a big fuss. We were moved to a normal one, but the mood was ruined.
Another episode to better understand the atmosphere of the hotel. No one explains anything at the reception upon arrival, and for 2 days we tried to figure out what is generally allowed and what is not allowed here. For example, it turned out that there is a free fresh drink on the beach. But it is not offered to anyone. And we found out about it completely by accident.
Another joke. Our guide, with whom there was to be a meeting the next day upon arrival, as usual, began to promote us on excursions (for example, Luxor for 110 dollars, where we safely went for 40). So, when we refused his services, he freaked out, said he wouldn't tell us anything about the hotel, wouldn't give us his phone number if we needed to ask anything, slammed the door and left. Honestly, we were shocked.
There were many more unpleasant moments in this hotel. I don't even want to remember anymore - it's disgusting.
The main conclusion is that Russians are disliked, despised, and don't even hide it. If you want to feel like second-class people in an expensive hotel, then this hotel is yours.
(Postscript - we are by no means scandalous people, as friendly and non-confrontational as possible. And we were just outraged by this attitude of the staff).
A hotel for relaxation 💯 Here you can relax without children's screams and animations)
I had a room overlooking the pool, spacious, bright, comfortable.
The hotel also has swim up rooms with access to its own pool, such a room is more expensive than the standard, but in extreme heat it is a salvation! The restaurant has an elegant cuisine, a variety of fish and seafood, daily ... I have not seen this anywhere else. They write the truth about the sea, it's dirty because of the yachts. But this did not upset me, as there is an excellent swimming pool with a bar and comfortable sun beds with soft mattresses on site. Only positive impressions remained from the hotel!
We had a vacation in April 2025. I liked everything: the polite staff (no one extorted money for a table in a restaurant, for a sunbed on the beach), the food was excellent, everything was fresh. And most importantly, it's quiet and peaceful, no shouting or noise.
I'll only write what upset you. We stayed at the hotel from March 15 to March 29, 2017. It's plus 32 outside. The air conditioners are not working. The room is stuffy. They said they turn it off in winter. Next, the towels (which should be white) are dirty gray and you'll never know if they're clean or not. The next disadvantage is the lack of body cream and hair conditioner. They first promised to give me a request, then 5 minutes, then another 5 minutes, then they said that there was no hotel. The next disadvantage is the lack of Internet, but even when paying 35 euros, the Internet did not work on the beach, only in the room. The next negative point is that smoking is allowed in the hotel, and if you are unlucky and the neighbors smoke, get ready to sniff smoke instead of the sea breeze. Sea. The sea is certainly not the way away from Hurghada. And garbage often floats. The sand is coarse and prickly. The deck chairs are old, wooden, and heavy. Otherwise, it's not bad.
A wonderful, quiet, cozy hotel that allows you to fully relax in the truest sense of the word. The food is delicious and varied, there is a decent selection of meat, there is always fish and seafood on the menu. Perhaps in other hotels the assortment is larger, but in the Grand Palace 95% of the dishes are delicious. There are also 5 restaurants on site with free service (by appointment). Drinks in comparison with hotels where I have been before are decent; cocktails are not oversaturated with syrups, natural purees are added to the composition. The staff, without exception, is smiling, friendly and responsive; they did not give tea for several days (there was no exchange), but this did not affect the attitude of the employees in any way. The territory is large and well maintained. The rooms are cozy, despite a little fatigue, but nevertheless, at least our room was larger, cleaner and fresher than the rooms of all the Turkish fives where I had been in the previous few years.
The only thing that was confusing was the piling up of yachts in the sea left for the winter in front of the hotel beach. But it did not cause any physical or emotional injuries)
The hotel is not for Russians.
We have just returned from a trip and I am writing a review in hot pursuit.
We checked into the hotel on 03/29/25, the room is booked junior suite. They immediately went to show us a room with a sea view. And they demanded 50 eternal greenbacks for it, and since the rooms in the entire hotel do not differ from each other, we refused. We were given cards from the number 4246. The room was clean, but there were a lot of messes everywhere: torn bed linen and curtains, a crooked faucet, a swinging shower, stains on the table, broken glass on the table, torn chairs on the balcony. In the evening, they discovered that there was no hot water in the room. We went to brawl at the reception, the room was replaced, but it's not very pleasant, the hotel positions itself as a premium five.
Everything was fine in the new room, except for the sliding door to the bathroom, which had to be constantly adjusted. The rest of the room is normal, with a large comfortable bed and a cozy balcony.
There is practically no information in the hotel about where, what is available and how it works. The guide on the bus gave information that the hotel guide would tell you everything.
On the second day, we met with the Pegasus guide Mohamed, who was 15 minutes late. He did not know anything about the hotel, its operation and concept, and even provided false information. He promised to bring us an information sheet in Russian from the reception. But when it came to the issue of excursions with extortionate prices, he was no longer interested in anything. He behaved very rudely, refused to give us a contact number, said he was only here for one day to sell us tours. He gave me some kind of questionnaire. When asked what it was, he replied that you would read it yourself and went somewhere. We hoped that the information was in Russian, but no. He began to push us to hurry up with the choice of excursions and a questionnaire. We asked him to bring an information sheet in Russian while we were busy filling it out. They asked three times, but they were ignored. He further stated that he had no time and would be at the hotel in an hour. To which he received our objection that we had come to rest, and not to run for a guide, and handed over a partially completed questionnaire. Mohamed got angry, threw down the papers and ran out of the hotel. The complaint to pegasus has already been sent, and I hope they will choose their employees more carefully.
The rest started off so-so, of course, but there were no further incidents.
Now for the hotel itself.
An 18+ hotel and, in fact, one German pension, in front of which they jump on tiptoe. The staff looks at Russians with disdain, does everything as it should, but without dedication and respect. You don't feel welcome there.
You have to find out everything yourself because no one will tell you anything.
Even something as trivial as replacing beach towels. They are changed once in the room upon request at the reception.
The territory of the hotel is not large, but it is beautiful, similar to the Oriental Palace. There are many different sun beds. I really liked them in the form of shells with a roof and in the form of teepees. But for all the splendor, there are no banal benches where you can sit and admire the night sky. In this regard, the neighboring GRAND HOTEL saves, you can use its territory and walk. It's very green and cozy, there are lots of benches and even hammocks.
The beach at the hotel is large with a bunch of sun loungers, but the truth is very dead and in need of replacement for a long time. The sea was clean and pleasant. But there is a big disadvantage here - there is a parking lot of yachts and ships in front of the beach, and when there is no wind, it smells very strongly of fuel oil. Of the 9 days of our vacation, there was a strong wind.
Now about the main advantage of this hotel, about the food. She's just GORGEOUS for every taste. There are always vegetables, fruits and pastries in large quantities, delicious cheeses. Omelets are served for breakfast, spaghetti with a choice of additives for lunch and dinner. A large selection of meat in its various variations. Lots of different snacks. There is a lot of seafood, red fish, pizza and sushi for dinner. What I didn't like was the sushi. The hotel offers free ice cream and fresh drinks at the beach bar. However , we found out that they are there by accident. And the bartender was pouring them with such an expression on his face that he was tearing them away from himself.
At the same time, both plus and minus are the work of the waiters on drinks. We can pour the juice ourselves only at breakfast, in other cases only through the waiter, including on the beach. On the one hand, this is convenient, but you have to wait, and in fact the bar card is only available in the bar and cafe of the main building, there is nowhere else.
Overall, we've had our share of fun, but we won't be returning to this hotel again.
The rest was in the off-season. The occupancy of the hotel was partial. The hotel itself is luxurious, pretentious. Very beautiful, clean, well-maintained territory. All, even in spite of the off-season, in greenery and flowers. What I liked: it's beautiful around, the food is edible, there are many themed restaurants and bars in addition to common areas. But... not everything is free. You will have to pay for something in the order. And, of course, it is necessary to have a small bill in the form of foreign currency. You will have to distribute it everywhere. )) It may not be necessary, but... Everyone did it. )
In the showers, detergents and water are different-everyone in the refrigerator was updated daily.
What I didn't like very much: the rooms are not clean. Exactly. It's not dirty, but it's not clean either. Especially in the bathrooms. Old stains, an old leaky toilet.... (Our room was superior, with a balcony and with a full view of the sea and the central courtyard. I explain so that you don't think that the room was chosen cheaper, that's why). But the bed and its dimensions were impressive! The mattress is a fairy tale! This covered all my dissatisfaction.)) And also - mosquitoes!!! It was a little hot and the door to the balcony was always open. They soooo bit me.... I had to buy the product in the middle of winter. )) Yes, by the way, a heated pool was announced, but it was not, because all the pools on the territory are interconnected and it made no sense to heat everything, and the heating system did not allow one. They offered to go to the hotel across the street.
A good hotel for a relaxing holiday! A variety of food. The staff is smiling and polite, and they speak Russian very well at the reception. The room is spacious, the bed is very large for three.
The restaurant is delicious, it is clear that good chefs, although the choice of dishes is very modest, but what is offered is of good quality. Fresh was bought on the beach and the granddaughter received serious poisoning with a high fever. Most likely because of the ice, which is made from ordinary tap water. I do not recommend buying anything with ice. Going into the water is convenient, but the yachts and boats standing there dump their waste directly on the beach of the hotel and on such days garbage floats there and huge spots of diesel fuel or something else on the water. Horror. Overall, it's a good hotel, but we're not going there anymore.
A beautiful hotel. That's where it ends. It doesn't look like a five at all. To begin with, upon arrival, we were given a room with a disgusting smell overlooking the tennis court. Then they offered a view of the pool, but they had to pay $ 100. They refused. Then I lowered it to 60. They didn't take it either. We thought the smell would pass in the morning. In the morning, all the clothes smelled of kerosene. The next morning, the quest continued. They gave you a choice of 3 rooms with a view of the pool. And for free. We took it on the 2nd floor. In the morning, ankle-deep water in the sink. A plumber was called. At the end of the work, I was waiting for a tip.
Let's go to the sea. In the morning, the sea is clear, transparent and very warm. We thought it would be like this after lunch. But after lunch, everything was upset. Firstly, there are motor ships and boats nearby, and secondly, there is a gas station behind the hotel. All the fuel goes to sea. Swimming, as if in this fuel. Then it is covered with a film.
Bleach is thrown into the pool in buckets in the evening.
The towels are grey.... Horror. They threw a towel on the floor, and they rolled it up and folded it neatly, put it on a shelf. The next day, they made a mark. They didn't change it either. We were begging for toothbrushes with pastes, gel and shampoo .....
Only seafood food is on the plus side. The Internet doesn't even work at the reception. It's creepy. It draws 2 stars instead of 5.
Now only from the plane, we rested at this hotel, I don't want to go home! How is this possible!? Guys, the Grand Palace team, you are the best, thank you from the bottom of my heart for an unforgettable vacation, for the best memories, comfort, the tastiest and most varied menu, for an individual approach to everyone, for caring and ... I can list a lot, because the way you do your job is aerobatics, it's the highest level! I will be happy to shake hands and express my gratitude to the management of the Grand Palace Hotel for such an organization. We will definitely come back!
The hotel is very beautiful, an oriental fairy tale. The interior is also very nice and well maintained. The rooms are also fabulously beautiful and large. 20% of Russians, the rest are mostly Germans. The food is excellent, there is a lot of seafood - grilled trout, fish in sauce, crabs, shrimp, mussels, squid. There are many ala carte restaurants, cafes with sides and ice cream. The staff is very friendly. I recommend the hotel. I will definitely come back

April 14
April 2025. Hotel for 3:
Meals: the same food every day, rarely something interesting is prepared; natural juices only in the morning; spirits are a mess, only local beer is more or less.
Beach: there were jellyfish for the first 2 days, but they are safe. There are ships moored nearby, and therefore a trace of fuel oil is visible on the edge of the shore in the form of black sand. The sea is clean, the cleanliness of the beach is monitored. Bartenders in a red T-shirt are constantly serving drinks to guests, but I repeat, it's a mess. I'd rather buy normal alcohol in Dutifrey and enjoy myself on the beach with my drink. The pools are relatively clean, and there is a heated pool bar. Tourists have been occupying sun beds since morning, but there was still enough space for everyone (by the way, the hotel was not fully occupied).
We took excursions to Luxor: 4 hours there and 4 back. The heat in Luxor is +41. The guide from Biblioglobus spoke very intelligently (thanks to Timur).
Sea: +23 degrees, invigorating, sandy beach, clean. There is no music on the beach, and you can only listen to music at the pool bar.
Airport: meticulously checked upon departure. There is no Business lounge for Russians, the manager replied that it was only for Europeans and Americans (I will no longer fly to Egypt because of the discrediting and such attitude towards Russians).
City: dirty, not well maintained. Sharmelsheikh is head and shoulders above Hurghada in general.
The hotel is not new, there are no carpets in the room, the cleanliness is at -4. The bathrobes are not bleached, there are no slippers. There is a safe, and the refrigerator is filled with Coke, sprite, fanta, and water. There is a hairdryer, beach towels are changed in the rooms either in the evening at 16-17 o'clock or in the morning at 8-9 o'clock, this is not convenient for us.
The evening programs are sparse: once a week on Sundays, one singer sings the same songs.
In the evenings, picky merchants on the street invite you to "just look" at their consumer goods and are offended if you don't buy anything from them.
All the hotel staff are waiting for tips, apparently they are not satisfied with the cost of the purchased travel package.
There are many Europeans (Germans, French, Poles, British). There have been more Russians in recent days.
Russians are treated like second-rate people.
Bottom line: this is my 4th trip to Egypt. I no longer have the desire to leave my money where I don't like and don't like being. I do not recommend it!

A quiet hotel for relaxing holidays without children. The hotel's guests are mostly foreigners, there are practically no Russians. The food is simply chic -seafood, meat, fish, mutton. There are always sun beds by the sea.Seashells by the pool are occupied from 7 a.m., as everywhere else)Alcohol is local , made of plastic bottles .Ala-kart restaurants are not any, I advise you to eat only in the main restaurant. The waiters are friendly, if you tip, they will wait and greet you every time you visit.Beach fights on the beach are brazen guys, you have to pay to speed them up.There is a place to walk in the evening .Everything suits me, I've been to this hotel 2 times.Everything was always good .
A great hotel for a holiday without children. There are many restaurants and bars, and you will be under the close attention of the staff anywhere in the hotel. The food is varied, we didn't have time to try everything in 13 days. Nice beach, clear sea, take masks and have a nice rest 🤝
A great hotel for a relaxing beach holiday. The food is delicious and varied. The beach is clean, the entry into the water is good. There are two 4* hotels nearby that you can go to for entertainment.
A great place to relax! The territory is very beautiful and well maintained. The beach is clean. The food is delicious. The staff is helpful. The rooms are a little tired, but not critical. I recommend it!
A great hotel for a break from people.
The rooms are in good condition, in Oriental style, the bathrooms are in the best condition. The bar is replenished if you only talk or leave tea, three bottles of soda and water. The food is good, the alcohol is so-so, the staff is excellent. The territory is beautiful, the sea is clean, but there is a minus nearby ships, there are no fish there, the beach is clean and smooth. The hotel is 18+, respectively, there are no children there, which will allow you to relax without shouting.
A normal hotel. It doesn't pull 5 stars, but it's a solid 4. The room was cleaned daily, the food was varied, the beach was private. The hotel is located on the first line.
for relaxing holidays and lovers of delicious food!)

I just got back from the hotel.
The food is very diverse and delicious for every taste and color.
The gorgeous staff is very friendly and helpful.
A large and excellent room.
A relaxing vacation of 18+ without parties and animators.
Of the cons
1) paid Wi-Fi.
The lobby is untalented.
But this is rather a plus so as not to hang out on the phone and relax.
2) there is a parking lot for yachts and boats on the beach and the whole view of them
But it's tolerable.
The hotel is cool! The food is very tasty, from Swedish to Japanese cuisine.
Only in the rooms a lot of mosquitoes have bitten all of us (
When we were evicted we were told there was nothing we could not eat or drink when our bracelets were cut off
By the time we had to sit for 4 hours!
And so the hotel is cool
A great place to relax your soul
The hotel is 16+, but it turned out that there is absolutely no animation here, which did not upset me at all
The food is delicious, the drinks too! The hotel staff is very polite and friendly
The hotel is very beautiful, you can even go out on the roof and see the beautiful sunset
I recommend it!
The hotel is so-so in the rooms there is no tea corner, if you want to drink coffee or tea, then the service is paid and in general there are a lot of things for a fee.
The amazing seal hotel! If you want to relax without children's screams, then you are welcome! The kitchen is wonderful. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Yes, there are Germans, but they are supposed to hang out in the pool. I recommend it!
The hotel is just great! The service, location, food - everything is great!

Simply the best hotel in Egypt! You need to understand that the concept of 18+ is not what you think it is. My husband and I went to this hotel for our honeymoon, we expected parties: but they are not here, this is a relaxation vacation. Your head turns off and you get high, like a sheikh in this hotel: everything is calm, measured and high-quality. Which is not just a rarity for Egypt, but not an existing concept. Employees: just great. We lost our backpack on the territory of a nearby hotel, the staff went to help, looked at the cameras in all the hotels and found a forgotten backpack. The staff sincerely helped! My husband felt sick from the heat - the staff invited a doctor and did not take a cent! In general: this is the highest level for Egypt!
The hotel is 18+ in the sense that only adults can check in.
In total, in the middle of December, it's like in a library, sparsely populated and quiet. The only point of the animators is in the corner of the beach and the music is not screaming. At least a third of the visitors are Germans, about the same number from the Russian Federation, the rest are the national solyanka. The beach is sandy, there is no shortage of places. It's not hot, the water is invigorating.
Very nice hotel, excellent food and close to the airport

A chic hotel, the rooms are clean and large, the food is beyond praise, a huge beach, among the disadvantages-there are no heated basques...and the water area is full of boats, from which the exhaust is felt and the sea is not very clean....
