Nice hotel. Excellent staff. The hotel is clean and tidy. The hotel has an outdoor heated swimming pool with two levels of depth: for children and adults; the water is clean, there are plenty of sun beds nearby. Delicious, varied food, good pastries. I would like to mention the tangerine drink separately. That's something. From the hotel to the sea is a 5-minute walk; to the local market about 10-15 minutes on foot; to the railway station about one and a half kilometers. There are tour minibuses near the hotel. I have a good impression of staying at this hotel.
A wonderful hotel!!! I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel and the quality of service) It all started with the check-in, the girls at the reception are very pleasant and welcoming, they tell us everything, always with a smile, it's nice to see) we got a room on the 18th floor with a view of the mountains, it's something amazing, we lived only 3 nights with my son. The room is clean, our maid has great respect and a bonus, she is very friendly, the room was cleaned daily, everything was shining, thanks to our fairy! The view is simply stunning, for 3 days the picture has always been different and amazing! Three meals a day, a Swede, great respect to the chefs, you can see that they try, there are not many dishes, but they always found something delicious) the basik is warm, the childrenwas just happy. In general, thank you so much for your hospitality! Prosperity and good guests🧡
Overall, it's a good place to go.
Positive:
Very beautiful views from the upper floors, it is very interesting to live at such a huge height and see the panorama from above.
The food is quite high-quality and varied
The pool is warm
Children's animation is quite normal
There is a good orthopedic mattress in the rooms, I slept well.
Minuses:
We left there because of the elevator, it took up to 30 minutes to wait for the elevator to go up to the room and go back down- it was necessary to exhaust a lot of nerves while waiting for the elevator. We moved to a hotel without an elevator)
There are a lot of people in the pool, like vegetables in soup, everything is floating, for such a huge hotel you need either two pools or a large pool.
The dining room is just disgusting, a concrete box, noise and hum like at a train station, it takes your head out in 3 minutes, it's impossible to eat in this environment, chairs move across the floor with such force that it feels like you're sitting under fire in a war.
There are few places, strangers constantly sat down at our table, it is impossible to retire and quietly enjoy eating. The dining room is terrible, even though the food is delicious..
There is no clean drinking water anywhere, there is no more dining room with water, there is no cooler anywhere, there are no kettles in the rooms yesterday I just had to bring my five-liter bottle prepared for such a case from the car, pour it into bottles, and walk everywhere with my bottles of water, It is very inconvenient that, for example, it is impossible to drink before eating in the dining room just a glass of clean water.
They never gave me kefir or matzoni.
There are no normal pastries and delicious sweets at all, there are absolutely tasteless dry rolls in the dining room at all three meals, I have not seen this in any other hotel.
As a result, it's a more or less normal hotel, but I won't go to it anymore for sure, I'll sleep well at altitude once, but that's probably all the advantages for me.
Pros: very decent room font and the hotel itself has a good fresh renovation. The location is excellent, the heated pool, the food in the dining room is excellent, you can see the chefs and the staff of the dining room are trying their best!
The price if you leave on a burning ticket.
Further cons : for me, the most terrible thing is the disco under the windows every evening. At first we stopped by, it was even more or less, but by the weekend the DJ obviously got hot and just puts on full power, it's not possible to sleep. Music in the style of farewell to youth and taste : Hands up, Artur Pirozhkov, etc. And there are three drunken cripples dancing.…
It's a very strange situation with extra blankets. Well, not everyone likes to sleep under the same blanket with a neighbor, but
There are pros, cons, a lot of text, but everything is in order.
First, about the advantages.
- LOCATION. The hotel is located in the small resort town of Gudauta, ideal for lovers of leisurely walks along the embankment, and for those who want a resort evening hype there will be nothing to do here. We walked around the town in about 2 hours, because there is nothing to do here except the center, the market, the amusement park, and the restaurant by the sea. Maybe the season will be a little more interesting.
- ROOM STOCK. The hotel is quite new, well renovated, daily cleaning, but very mediocre.During the week we were here, neither linen nor towels were changed, the floors were washed every day, and shampoos \ gels \ toilet paper were reported daily without a reminder.
The room itself has a good bed, but the pillows on it are very damaged, which have long needed to be replaced, they look like a rag))
There are also very few shelves in the bathroom, there is simply no place to put shampoo and shower gel while bathing.
There will be 2 glasses waiting for you on the table, but decide where to use them yourself.Either in the bathroom to put toothbrushes, or leave them on the table to drink water)
By the way, there is no drinking water. There were no water coolers in the dining room, or on the floors. We bought it nearby in a store for 70 rubles.
And also, initially there was a smell of sewage in the room from the drain in the shower, they decided to cover it with a towel, but the first day it didn't smell very good in the room.
- VIEW from the window. No comment here, from the 18th floor there is simply a stunning view of the sea and mountains
- THE PRICE. During the off-season (We were in the middle of May), you can fly to relax and reboot to the sea from Moscow at a very pleasant price.
- THE POOL is heated, with a very comfortable temperature for swimming, which was cleaned daily, but there were not always enough sun beds for everyone.
To the sea 3 minutes on foot by walking distance, though along a small river sewer)))
now about the cons.
- THE DINING ROOM. I understand it's very difficult to feed a lot of people for a little money, but it was still possible to try. Firstly, sometimes the appearance of the dishes raised doubts about their freshness, the food is mostly canteen-style, for the most unassuming guests. We personally lived only on breakfasts, you could at least choose something on them, for example omelets, sausages, cottage cheese casseroles, pancakes, but at lunch and dinner without comment. Boiled pasta, sticky rice, mashed potatoes with lumps, cutlets that seem to have outlived my ancestors, and in general, you can continue indefinitely.
There were no fruits (except apples), fresh vegetables and sweets either. Fruit compotes are simple without comments, pure cherry juice - 1 liter and 20 liters of plain water)))
The room itself, where the dining room is located, is very large, everything is covered with marble tiles, due to this, an incredibly strong hum is created with a large crowd of people. It's not comfortable to sit, I want to escape from here to a quieter place as soon as possible.
- THE ELEVATOR. Many people wrote about this problem, sometimes we waited for the elevator for 10-15 minutes, and then we were crammed into a huge crowd to go up to our room. Unfortunately, there is no way to fix this, but it will be hot in the season))) especially for moms with children with strollers, so I recommend choosing the room below to go up on foot, but I do not advise you to choose the 2nd and 3rd floors, the sound of evening discos will not let you sleep well.
-MONOTONOUS animation. It wasn't our main point, it was just that every day there was exercise, mafia and disco. Everything))
"THE DOGS. There are a lot of them here, a lot of them, to the point of outrage. At one point, next to us on the beach, I counted 9 of them (!) Yes, they seem to be friendly, but no one knows what will trigger them in a minute and whether they will attack you with the whole pack.
To sum up) we chose between three hotels, these are the Grand hotel Abkhazia, the Europa Hotel and Russia, and I am glad that even despite the many disadvantages, we chose Russia. There is a large-scale construction site near Abkhazia and Europe, and you definitely won't be able to enjoy the sound of the waves. Would I return to Russia? They hid it, but I'd love to go to Abkhazia. Its nature is amazing, and there is still a lot of unexplored things here for us.
We had a rest at the weekend)))
We were satisfied with the price and quality
The food is delicious, the pool is clean, the room is normal (TV, refrigerator, bed, shower, balcony, dryer, everything is available)))!!! The hotel is equipped with its own emergency power supply, it was damaged, the lights went out all over the city, and the hotel was working as if nothing had happened, and that's cool.
I think that nowadays the price is adequate 👍
Thank you very much for your hospitality, we will definitely come back to you again)))
A wonderful hotel. The cost corresponds to the quality. The food is good, three meals a day, the dishes are varied, but without frills. The rooms have a refrigerator, air conditioner, TV, bathroom, pastel is clean, cozy and clean, cleaned every day. The pool is clean and warm. The view from the window is great, each room has a balcony. I definitely recommend it
The only negative is that sometimes you have to wait a long time for the elevator, but it's bearable.
It's a very strange hotel! The building itself, the rooms and everything else have the potential of a good popular expensive hotel. But the service at the hotel is very modest and at the Economy level. There is a suspected pool, but there are no bathrobes to go out to it and no beach tents. By the way, there is no toilet by the pool either, and guess where everyone goes. In principle, they do not provide an extra blanket in the rooms. The 360-room hotel has a dozen and a half armchairs, a bench and sofas, that is, vacationers in the evenings have nowhere to sit and chat normally. Very inhospitable. Meals at the hotel in Stalovka-tashnilovka. Smells and some dishes below the baseboard. It is worth noting that the hotel clearly does not save on products: pork, beef, real chicken every day, but a lot is cooked so that you can immediately send it to the trash, in short, there is no normal competent chef in the kitchen. Please note that drinks are served in the dining room, but only NON-ALCOHOLIC. This year, on April 19th, someone wrote a review saying that they had just arrived and that alcohol was served at the hotel. Real bullshit! The hotel opened only on April 20th. But many tourists did not believe the travel agents, but the reviews and were disappointed. On the plus side: the hotel provides kettles (they do) and everyone who needs an oil heater. The managers simply forgot about the design of the hotel, they didn't have time to print at least color posters, so there are white bare walls everywhere. There is nothing much in Gudauta: a simple expensive market, Waikiki, several decent grocery stores and tents from the 90s. The next problem of the hotel is visible in the photo - the fence is dangerous for children, really. On some floors, there is also a shelf between the grate and the balcony so that an adult's foot falls through. Well, probably the last disadvantage of the hotel is the elevators. There are 2 of them for passengers, each with a load capacity of 800 kg. During peak hours of mass restaurant visits and check-in, you can catch an elevator for 20 minutes.
The hotel is very nice, everything is tidy, the rooms are clean , the food is excellent and varied , the animation is generally great , and morning exercises for children and water games for the family and entertaining children's games , but the best thing is a children's disco in which parents and their children can also take part , and the adult mafia is a super game , I want to to say a big thank you to the animator , always positive , definitely 5
We stayed at this hotel with a friend from May 10 to May 17, 2025. The hotel is very nice, clean, and cozy. It is located 250 m from the sea coast. We lived on the 15th floor. The room is always clean, tidy, and the linen is good. Special thanks to our girlfriend Angela for this! Thanks to her, we did not freeze in the room, at the first request she provided us with a blanket and a heater, as it was cool in the rooms these days, it rained almost every day.
On the first day of our arrival at the reception, we were greeted by kind, radiant girls, and very quickly we were settled without any problems. Thank you and good luck to you, admin girls: Madina, Esme and Milanda!!
The food in the restaurant is quite high-quality and varied, according to the buffet system.
A lot of meat and fish.. They give us delicious sausage and lots of cheese for breakfast.
There is a heated swimming pool..I have a good impression of staying at this hotel, and we will come again, Allah willing.
Thank you for the rest, which exceeded our expectations..
I would also like to mention the excursions to Sukhum, CHERNIHIV and Krasnaya Polyana.. We're thrilled..
We recommend staying at this hotel, you won't regret it.. The wines are relatively cheap and very tasty.. especially GUDAUTA AND THE BOUQUET OF ABKHAZIA! Be sure to try it
We are from Kazan, Tatarstan..
We had a rest with a friend from May 17th to May 24th. I liked everything! Nice rooms, beds, view from the window. The food was varied and delicious, there were always several salads, porridges, soups, meat, chicken, pastries! A wonderful heated pool, courteous staff, cleanliness everywhere, animation for children and water aerobics for adults by the pool. The sea is not far away, there is a beautiful green park and a promenade nearby! We'll come again!😊
Advantages: location, the beach is nearby, the view from the window is amazing. The rooms are clean, the linen is good.
Disadvantages: solve the problem with elevators, two elevators for such a large number of guests is not realistic. The smell of dampness in the rooms, ventilation does not help. Very long service at the reception.
I won't write about the kitchen. Price is quality. This is not Turkey, and it's not worth waiting for a lot of variety for this money. I didn't stay hungry. I would like to mention the salad chefs. Varied and delicious. And the steamed cutlets were very tasty.
I will definitely come here again.
The hotel is nice, the sea is nearby, the rooms are clean, cleaned every day if necessary. The food is plentiful and varied. One problem is the elevator. We lived on the 17th floor, waiting for the elevator is a whole story during rush hours)) During the season, I don't know how people will handle it. Nearby there are shops, a market, you can walk along the embankment and park, go to a cafe. Guided tours are offered right at the hotel. We went with Daur, I definitely recommend it, it's very pleasant for the price and quality.
Good afternoon! We are currently resting at this hotel. We really like everything! The room is cleaned daily and very efficiently. Air conditioning, TV, WiFi - everything works fine. Meals - special THANKS to the staff!!! Everything is fresh and delicious, food for any preference (meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, pastries, pancakes, etc.), there are snacks in the form of French fries, wings, kupat, donuts (insanely delicious)! Alcohol is of high quality, without restrictions (the guys are also cool, always smiling, friendly, and patient). The pool is always clean, the area is cleaned. Animation for children during the day and in the evening. Animator Yaroslav is a SUPERHERO for children, a smart girl!!! The children are delighted with him! Adults also do not get bored by the pool - water polo, volleyball, Yaroslav will arrange everything!!! It's rare to meet such guys. Of course, there is a minus in the hotel:
- the elevator is long (we live on the 18th floor), sometimes we have to go down and climb on foot ...
- there is no phone to contact the reception. In general, I highly recommend visiting here. There are 1000 times more advantages than disadvantages. Dear hotel director, I really want you to appreciate your staff!!! The staff is really very cool! We will come back to you again and not once. Thanks again for a vacation that exceeded our expectations!!!
18-storey hotel, after restoration. We lived on the 12th floor with a view of the mountains.
The advantages of the hotel are a comfortable mattress, a TV in the room, a refrigerator, air conditioning, 2 glasses, a hairdryer, shampoo + shower gel + soap and toilet paper are replenished every day. The food is good, we didn't go hungry.
Wishes /cons - make an entrance to the dining room, as in the Boxwood Grove sanatorium in Pitsunda, a girl marks the room number at the counter, entry with bags / backpacks and packages is prohibited, there are floor hangers, racks where you can leave things, stickers on the doors of the dining room "It is forbidden to take out food."
How terribly disgusting it was to look at the young and elderly people who piled up plates (and none) with food, then dumped everything into new packing bags they brought, stuffed it all into backpacks/bags, ugh, honestly, it's disgusting to write about it. People, stay human and behave with dignity, we are not living in a hungry time. We paid 2 rubles (I'm writing figuratively) and take out/"They want to hit" 20 🤦♀️
I have never witnessed that vacationers came and there were not enough dishes, of course, with such appetites of individual "people", chefs simply will not have time to cook or calculate volumes.
I didn't find any disadvantages, however, I'm not particularly picky, but basic things for convenience and comfortable rest are very important to me!
I wish you prosperity and adequate vacationers!
I really liked the hotel, the rooms with sea or mountain views. The hotel has 18 floors and only 2 elevators, which is a problem, especially at lunchtime. The rooms are clean, the bathroom is free of mold and rust. Air conditioning, refrigerator, hairdryer, towels, detergents, dryer on the balcony. There is a lot of food in the dining room, a lot of second things, fish, not a masterpiece, but you can gain extra pounds. Drinks: tea, coffee, compotes, soda machine. The pool is clean, the water is really heated.
The sea is 3 minutes away. There is also a stall with guided tours at the hotel and you can also buy guided tours at the hotel itself.
There is a bar with drinks and snacks on the 1st floor.
Animation for children, as well as a disco for adults.
And the price.... We have never had such a cheap vacation with such luxurious conditions.
I definitely recommend it
Great hotel. The price corresponds to the quality. The hotel is new, everything is clean, bright and cozy. At the reception, the administrators will always help and tell you. There is a medical professional, which is very pleasing. The hotel has a varied buffet. Everything is delicious. There is also a dining room additionally at 10 a.m. where you can eat tea and a bun, also at 15 you can take wings, French fries there, the bar works where beer, chacha and wine are included from 10 to 22. Juice without restriction. Excellent animators work, there is an entertainment program for children and adults. The heated pool is very comfortable for children. The sea is very close to the hotel, there are sun beds on the beach. A wonderful hotel, we are very glad that we spent our vacation at the Grand Hotel. I wish you prosperity , we will definitely come again 🤗
We stayed at this hotel from 09/20/2924 to 09/29/2024. The hotel is nice, the rooms are clean, the heated pool, the hotel staff is friendly, they respond quickly and adequately to any questions. The dining room is large, there was enough food for everyone, the range of dishes is good, there is always fruit for lunch, a meager assortment of pastries for tea. A small minus in the dining room is not always hot food, I had to heat it in the microwave, but the plus is that it is there! The rooms were cleaned daily and personal hygiene products were updated. There is always hot water. Change of bed linen every 5 days! I was disappointed with the elevator, there are only 2 of them!!! on 18 floors, and one was constantly out of order!!! We lived on the 16th floor - the sea view is gorgeous. From the shared balcony, the mountain view is not inferior at all! 200 meters from the hotel to the sea, there were enough sun beds for everyone, the beach bar is paid! The rest was a success! Thank you to the hotel staff for your work!
The hotel is just a cannon bomb, we have been there for two years in a row, we like everything, the main thing is the price 🤣the pool is clean, the sea is nearby, the location is excellent, near the market, shops, cafes. The food is ordinary, canteen, since this year beer, wine, chacha are included. Animation for children, discos, children's room, between breakfast, lunch, snacks, ice cream, burgers, cookies, popcorn. The rooms are acceptable, cleaning every day, a large hall, there is a place to relax, have a beer. I generally recommend it 👍
The location is very convenient, it will do for a budget holiday.
Among the advantages there is a varied buffet menu, a well-equipped beach.
Of the minuses: there was no entertainment program, the 3-year-old child had nothing to do, there were puddles and mud on the playground, it was not suitable.
The rooms were cleaned daily, but the towels were never changed in 5 days.
In the dining room, the meal is scheduled for breakfast from 8 to 10 and if you come at 9, then many dishes are no longer available and the choice remains what is left.
We had a rest for the May holidays. I liked everything. The pool is warm. The rooms are clean. A small disadvantage is that the pillows are very thin. The food is not restaurant-style, but everything is delicious and there is a lot of choice. I would like to make a suggestion to open the pool early, starting at 8 o'clock.
Good afternoon, everyone. We are resting here now. I would like to contact the owner of this hotel and thank you very much. Now I will list for what: for the cleanliness in the entire hotel, for the excellent water pressure in the bathroom, for the constantly working Wi-Fi, for the working air conditioner, for fresh food in the dining room, for the working elevators, for the heated pool and for the prices that were in April 2025. I will recommend your hotel to everyone and will definitely come back here again. Also, don't pay attention to the negative reviews. Personally, I've read them, and I'm shocked by what people are writing.... I'll give you a solid five for everything!!!! I wish you continued prosperity, well-being and more adequate guests!
We are having a family vacation now at the hotel from the advantages: Fresh rooms, a nice very warm pool, walking distance to the sea, a view from the room (we live on the 12th floor), new and very comfortable mattresses. Of the cons, this is of course food, it is very monotonous, often tasteless or tasteless, potatoes are often unfinished al dente)))) one chicken and sometimes fish, pasta, buckwheat, rice, 3 porridges to choose from in the morning, 3 soups for lunch, salads - well, so-so, only apples and oranges from fruits (((( dinner, for example, from 7 to 9 so at 7 there is almost nothing, it used to be carried away a tray with sausages (slightly less than half) and just covered with a lid and did not return. rotovirus, as in all of Abkhazia, is also present here, the daughter fell ill on the 2nd day, the husband a day later, from the conversations of the guests, the same thing went to the hospital, but the rotovirus lasted exactly a day, taking into account the soldering with saline solutions.take the rehydrone and the like with you. From alcohol, beer, wine, chacha, popcorn, ice cream, fruit drinks, sometimes apple juice, pear and grapes. For a snack, wings, such as French fries, sometimes a cradle, mini pizza sandwiches (which were not finished for breakfast). Honestly, there is no animation, in the morning there is charging, aqua aerobics, water polo, in the evening there is a local disco, animators are not charged to work with guests. There are few sun loungers on the beach, but there are even fewer than 6 umbrellas at most. Of course, the sea was beautiful, warm and clean. Wi-Fi is only available in the room and in the lobby. Crowds of dogs, but peaceful, do not touch them, they are you. Elevators are a local highlight))) there are 2 of them, they never broke down with us, there is another one for the staff, he saved more than once. There are only small eateries near the hotel, there is nothing to do after 8. There is a long walking road along the sea, it's a thrill to walk along it, you can walk along it along the park, it's almost the center of the city. The hotel has only a small playground and a swimming pool, that's all. There is no bar on the beach from the hotel, there are private bars. They wouldn't have come back here for the food. And there is some kind of trouble with drinking water in the hotel, there are no bottles when checking in, there is also no boiled water in the dining room, in the morning instant coffee from a common plate, the cheapest tea is black and green, there is no tea at lunch, only fruit drinks, for dinner they are also tea. Water was bought in shops for 100 rubles for 5 liters. In the room we found a closet with only a crossbar and one upper shelf, it is inconvenient to put things for 3 people. The curtains in all rooms are not blackout (I like to sleep in the dark). We haven't eaten in the dining room for the last few days, we just didn't go there, we found a dining room with acceptable prices (to the right of the hotel, past the Chernomorets boarding house, the second turn to the right), the main thing is delicious! Some write about fines for dirty linen and towels, it's true, when the room is checked out, the cleaner looks at the reception and tells if everything is in order if there are stains on towels or bed linen - a fine of 1000 and above (depending on the degree of contamination)) this of course spoils the impression very much. Therefore, it is up to you to decide what is your priority
We had a rest with my husband and child from 26.07 to 05.08,24 in this hotel. I chose the hotel myself, relying on positive reviews, and I really regretted it.
Of the advantages:
+ beautiful view from the 18th floor
+ clear sea
Perhaps that's all of the advantages
Now the cons:
Everything is in order, starting from the entrance to the hotel
- it's just that there are the most urgent queues in 2 elevators, which are designed for 1000 people, Karl is one of them, which often broke down due to overexertion, fortunately we didn't get stuck there like some! Naturally, like all of us, we walked for a couple of hours due to the fact that the lights were turned off before a thunderstorm and we were walking with a 4-year-old child and I, 5 months pregnant, to the 18th floor, after lunch
- the rooms are very small, especially if you can't walk between the bed and the table, you can only cross the bed to the balcony. I'm not a very picky person about rooms, because I work in the field of aviation, and for me, hotels are my home. So I won't write about the number, there are enough reviews, there are no shelves for milking shampoos, etc.
- probably the biggest and FATTEST MINUS is the DINING ROOM, on the 4th day of our stay they put an antiseptic on and put up a sign at the reception rotovirus, it's everywhere there. Once again, I flew all over the country and not only ours, and I didn't catch the rotovirus anywhere, so here I was also sure that it wouldn't get me. But that was not the case. The food in the dining room is just awful, based on the reviews, I can assume that they are prepared for people out of season, and in season as for pigs, as I recall cabbage rolls, this is a cutlet in which rotten and sour cabbage, ugh 🤮
What they say in the voucher is soft ice cream- there won't be any, there will be cheap ice, beer is terrible, wine is sour, juices, if you can call them that, are diluted 1:10 of them, 1 part is juice, and 10 is water. Burgers are half-eaten meatballs left over from lunch. In short, we were hungry. Fortunately, there were shops and we ate bread, sausage and doshirak.
As a result, we caught rotovirus, and we stayed there for 1 day. Everyone who grabs food with full trays threw up everywhere they could the next day.
- another disadvantage is the pool. For 1,000 people, it's just a puddle of germs, it hasn't been cleaned more than once.
- the beach is a separate story, some kind of incomprehensible restrictions on the type of sunbed are not allowed here, it is not our territory and there will be a fine, those 1000 people should fit roughly on the 1st square, but if you do not sleep until lunch and come at 8- half 9, then you will get sun beds, and if after 9, then you will lie on the rocks, next to the sabaks, I will not write about them either, and there are so many reviews
- and of course, the minus of that river, or parasite, which flows into the sea next to the beach, by the way, after the alleged announcement of rotovaris at the hotel, it was allegedly dripped.
Abkhazia, of course, is very beautiful, incredible nature and clear sea, but not in this hotel, besides, it's a very long drive from the border
I gave 2 stars for the beautiful view from the balcony and the clear sea
It's a great hotel. The rooms are clean. Beautiful views. A warm pool. Secure parking. Great staff. The food is very good, as we called it SANATORIUM). I liked everything. I recommend. Simple and accessible.
The hotel left a lot of pleasant emotions. But of course, as everywhere there are flaws. The food is great. The buffet in the dining room is a little boring, but overall it is very tasty, there is plenty to choose from. People are wild - in the first half hour from the start of the meal, they sort out all the fruits and cakes. If necessary, it is better to come to the very beginning. During breaks, they give coffee, sweets, popcorn, ice cream, fries, chicken wings, lula.
You can't bring alcohol into the dining room, these are the rules...
The beach is not equipped, this is a minus. We were at the end of May, people were already swimming, not many, but still. It would be worth putting at least sun loungers in advance. I think they will wake up only by July. There are a lot of dogs.
The pool is very nice, heated. But there is a huge disadvantage: CHILDREN JUMP OFF THE SIDES, ALTHOUGH THERE IS A SIGN " PROHIBITED ". No one is watching this.
The animation is good, the girls are great, but there's nothing to do after 10. Billiards, table tennis are included in the price. All the benefits until 22.00. Lobby too. (10-22) From alcohol, beer, chacha, homemade red wine. Juices.
The service is average. I can't write anything good.
Room cleaning - garbage was cleaned every day, shampoos/gels were replenished. Towels and linen are changed every 5 days.
With regard to elevators, yes, there are only 2 of them and you always have to wait for them. I can't even imagine what will happen at the height of the season. This is very ill-conceived.
The hotel is fresh, clean, beautiful nature and greenery. There is a market and shops nearby, but there are not many attractions in Gudauta itself. This is a village - cows and horses walking through the streets are the biggest attraction here
Yes, this hotel is definitely suitable for low-cost and unassuming tourists.
The hotel is in Gudauta, about an hour's drive from the border. It's a good hotel, the rooms are clean, the water is hot, the beds are comfortable, with pillows, but it doesn't matter what's what. There was one blanket for two beds, and they asked for a second one, but they never brought it in. Cleaning every day, there are gels, soap, shampoo in the shower. The elevator is a big inconvenience, there are only two on 18 floors, we lived on 8 and walked (we weren't upset), and if you wait, you can stand for half an hour. The view from the room was on the sea, beautiful!!! The food is good, not a restaurant, of course... Something between a canteen and a home-cooked meal. There is enough of everything, there is a choice. Salads, side dishes, meat, pastries are all delicious. The sea is within walking distance, near the park. Entertainment options include billiards and ping pong, for a fee. The pool is heated, there are enough sun loungers for everyone, cleaned every morning. It's a great vacation for that kind of money.
The hotel is clean and cozy. Nice pool. There is a medical worker. Beautiful views from the balconies. Comfortable beds, mattresses!!! There are no problems with water, the pressure in the shower is very good (there is something to compare it with), if the lights are turned off, the generator turns on immediately. Alcohol for a weak 3, but this is expected (no problem to buy in the store-not expensive). The food is more like an amateur, spices are added everywhere, I suffered from heartburn all my vacation. But rice, buckwheat and potatoes are cooked absolutely without salt. There was almost never enough fruit, powdered coffee, only buns from baking and almost always an unpeeled casserole. Chicken meat in different forms, once a week there was fish (stewed pollock and pink salmon), but so little that it was disassembled in the first half hour of the canteen). For me personally, there was not enough delicious coffee in the morning, a coffee machine or a car in the lobby would not hurt at all) In general, you will not stay hungry. But it's definitely not worth waiting for frills. Tip: do not try everything in the first two days of your stay, so that you do not get bored of food quickly)). There are few sun beds on the beach, we almost never had time for them (although we rested in September), but for me personally it is not critical, I love back massage on pebbles)) In general, the hotel is not bad, the points that I indicated are not critical for me (except for heartburn)), I wrote for people to understand. Cleanliness, comfort and a comfortable bed are much more important).
A great hotel, I didn't even expect this, there is something to compare it with!!! Clean, tidy, our room was small but cozy with a view of the mountains. The dining room is large, there were no problems with seats, the food is varied, and there is a very good and varied selection. The sea is just around the corner, a three-minute walk. The pool is warm and clean.
We came to this hotel in Gudauta for the first time on vacation. Previously, we always had a vacation in Sukhumi, it was completely unknown here. Since the vacation was in April, when the bathing season was not yet open, we chose the pool, and we did not regret it. The water is warm, it's comfortable to swim, the disadvantage is that they don't give you bathrobes and beach towels, even for an additional fee, only in luxury rooms. Some used the baths. The pool was cleaned every morning responsibly. The beach itself with a gorgeous promenade is also nearby, it's a pleasure to walk, and there are a lot of greenery, silence, no crowds and cars in the town itself. Those who like a quieter place are the best. It is convenient to get to any sightseeing routes from here. As for the hotel itself, the building is new, the rooms are modern, clean, cleaned every day. The maids are good at making contact, more friendly than at the reception. Upon arrival, we were given a room with separate beds, but referring to the occupancy of the rooms, we were given one double bed, and throughout the rest we did not go to the meeting. As for the convenience of the rooms, what they say in the reviews about the elevator is true, it is very difficult to leave during rush hour, it happened that the second elevator broke down and it was very problematic to wait to leave for the upper floors. We had a room on the second floor, we were lucky in terms of the elevator, there is a grand staircase to the second floor, but the room was not far from the dining room, it was always very clearly audible when people went to eat and pushed chairs in the dining room, they really creak very loudly on the floor. In this regard, on vacation for breakfast, I woke up at seven o'clock in the morning, when the noise in the dining room began. The most unfortunate rooms are on the second floor next to the dining room and with the elevator, it's always noisy there. As for the food, I can't say anything bad, we were always full, we could always choose something, food was always served, the only dishes were cold, and for some reason the morning cocoa was always cold. Otherwise, we were satisfied with the rest.
The sea is nearby. A clean swimming pool. The animation is simple, but the guys are trying. The food is homemade, you will not stay hungry without frills and it is quite tasty and varied. Everything is really included... Don beer, light chacha and wine. The drinks are better than in the standard Turkey cup. Of course, I would not say that the level of Turkey and Egypt, but definitely you will not regret it
It's just a wonderful hotel! Excellent friendly staff, the food is very acceptable. There are only two disadvantages, if you take a room for three, then the clamshells are not reliable. Another small disadvantage: at the expense of discos, to be honest, no one knows, but in my opinion they are for old ladies.
To summarize: The hotel is 9/10.
There are few disadvantages, "Russia" is better than all other hotels.
I personally recommend it.
We stayed at this hotel for the May holidays.
I liked everything, the food was normal and varied.
The heated pool is clean, the hotel is cleaned every day (well, just vacuuming).
The only drawback is that there are not enough elevators, and that there is no laundry room.
We were from October 11 to October 20. The building is renovated, everything is white and beautiful. The rooms have an almost full-length mirror, which is nice. The mattress is very nice and comfortable. Jellyfish pillows. For an amateur. The view from the balcony in all directions is amazing. We lived on the 16th floor. The elevator is long. The eternal expectation of a miracle and it's not in season. Dining room))) we named it 33 chicken dishes. Something is delicious, something is not. The biggest disadvantage, in my opinion, and vacationers agree with me, the smell from the dining room spreads for half a kilometer. And it starts to annoy on the third day. In Abkhazia, you want the smell of eucalyptus and the sea!!!
The hotel corresponds to its category by 100%. The rooms are cozy and well renovated, but there are not enough sockets and shelves in the bathroom. The food is excellent, varied and delicious, of the level of a high-quality dining room. The staff is helpful and friendly. At the bar, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., a liquid vaguely similar to chacha and wine is poured for free. The beer is delicious. But for such an amount of accommodation, this is normal. I strongly recommend it.
We are resting today for the last day in room 705. We really enjoyed the rest. The hotel is super for that kind of money. The rooms are clean, the maid is always friendly. The food is excellent. Wine, chacha, beer for free. Everything is of pretty good quality. The weather let us down, but we went on an excursion in the rain. We will definitely come again. I wish you all the best and prosperity. The only negative is that the pool did not work (in the sense it was not heated.
In general, the boarding house made a good impression! Food..beach..The staff is fine! The only drawback is the elevators, which are sooo moody..they work every other time..they want to go..they don't want to and write a preponderance when there are only 7 people instead of the required 10. The second disadvantage is the chairs in the dining room..well, sooo heavy and slippery tile floor is constantly such a shuffling of these chairs that completely spoils the appetite! Everything else is on the level including free ice cream..popcorn..chacha.. wine..beer and juices. So only 4 stars! But I would have come again! Gudauta is a super town and the beaches are very decent!
This is an old Soviet sanatorium, which was put in order and the facade and interior were repaired.
The rooms are still renovated from the 90s.
The room is small.
The hotel is located in Gudauta. There's nothing to see there. Guided tours only.
There is a pool, but crowds of people gather in it and it gets crowded.
The hotel has 16 floors! And only 2 small elevators.... I saw women fighting for a place in the elevator. If you don't want to fight, then you can wait for the elevator for 20 minutes 😂🤝 or walk to the 16th floor, for example.
Meals are served 3 times a day. But in fact, the products are of poor quality. It's fine for the villagers, but normal people probably won't eat it.
There are more than two hundred seats in the dining room, and in the midst of the "hunger Games", crowds of people with trays fly back and forth and push others aside to quickly grab their portion of food.
Reception is a separate story. The service remained as it was in the 90s. A few tired and unfriendly employees will not treat you very kindly.
And at night someone will knock on your room.…
One of the advantages: sea and mountain views.
The beauty of nature is fascinating.
The hotel is fresh, everything is clean, the food is without frills but delicious at home (the staff cannot cope with such a flow of people). At the reception, girls with dissatisfied faces are immediately repelled by this attitude, the cleaners are well done, the linen was changed for the 5th day, although he did not ask. The pool is large, the animation is unobtrusive, which is very good. Children are entertained, women dance zumba, men play water football. Music worn out on day 7 is no longer bearable to listen to the same playlist. The beach is not bad, there were enough sun loungers, well, if there were not enough, you can wait a little or rent for 200 rubles. There is not a bad bar on the beach with drinks where bottled beer costs 100 rubles. I lived on the 15th floor, the sea view was gorgeous, the air conditioner worked, I always walked - it's good for my health, the elevators are overloaded, people go to the 5th, 7th floor by elevator, queues. Every 3 days, the cards in the rooms are blocked, it is better to update them in advance so that you do not run to the reception several times. In the evening, a disco for adults, also the same playlist, the windows could not be opened until 22 because the number was 1520 very loudly - a problem with ventilation, constantly worked and prevented sleep, bought earplugs otherwise you would not fall asleep (I contacted the reception desk, no one cares about you, they said they made an application, but no one solved the problem). Wi-fi is slow and intermittent. The hotel is not bad, but we need to refine the system with the staff
First, about the advantages, the hotel has been renovated, the rooms are cleaned, and there is a great view of the sea from the room (if the room has a sea view). About the cons, everything that people write is true and the elevators (out of 7 days of rest, 2 days one elevator did not work and the wait reached 20 minutes) and the food and pillows in the rooms and the railing on the balcony and the slope of the floor there towards the railing that it is simply dangerous to be there in the rain, and everything else is just laziness list them. And of course, the price is plus, and for that kind of money, you can ignore all this until you catch the rotovirus, which, as people say, is a common occurrence. In my opinion, this is because of the unsanitary conditions, there is no soap in public toilets at all, there is only paper and that is not always, they seem to be cleaned, but in the toilet near the reception at the end of the rest, the stench was like in a public toilet at a train station. There are 2 trash cans in the back of the hotel for the entire hotel, of course, the territory is filled with bottles and everything else in the morning, yes, they clean it up, but it's not pleasant when you're sitting on a swing (by the way, they saved on bare iron on mattresses) and garbage is being shoveled out from under them in front of you. The dumpster is not fenced in any way - it stinks. We can only guess what's going on in the kitchen, for example, we watched as compote and other drinks were taken out in a plastic bucket and poured in the hall, I don't know what else they store in these buckets. I used antiseptic in the dining room, and as a result, I got burned on my palms, which they pour there is a mystery. They don't treat the guests at all, they look at you like the Snow Queen looks at Gerda. After burning my palms, I tried to complain at the reception, the result was zero in the dining room, it's your own fault, everything is fine, of course, no one offered any help. You can write a lot more, but I don't think it makes sense. I think everyone will decide for themselves whether to go here on vacation, but we definitely won't set foot here anymore, even for a little money you can lose your health here plus a disgusting attitude. There are normal hotels in Abkhazia, we originally wanted to go to Chernomorets and we really regretted that we did not go there. We talked to people who were vacationing there, went there ourselves, it's heaven and earth is simple - guests are greeted with champagne, a friendly atmosphere is felt immediately, and the territory is very beautiful. I would recommend considering this option.
The hotel is not all inclusive, as stated, and starting this year, the hotel bar is paid! There are no coolers with drinking water, and in general, even upon arrival, there is no drinking water in the room! I had a rest from May 10 to May 15, 2025. They will give you a kettle and send you to the water pump! We arrived at 7 p.m. and we had a transfer (it would have been better not to have it), we were held for three hours at Adler airport on the street! The transfer arrangement was disgusting! We were brought to the hotel well after midnight! Not only did they not leave us any snacks, but they didn't even give us water! They gave me a kettle and told me where the pump was.
The food is good, without frills, but varied and delicious! A large selection of meat dishes. Well, I was pleased with the view from room 1720, on the 17th floor. I have not picked up the rotovirus, as many write, follow personal hygiene measures and everything will be fine with you. Arrange for drinking water!!! At least put the coolers on!!! Many people come at night with small children and the shops are already closed!
A little more and the hotel will become completely dilapidated!
The hotel needs a good manager, not from among local relatives, but one who has vacationed abroad and worked there!
• There is a very strong creaking of chair legs on tiles in the dining room. Is it difficult to glue felt pads to chairs?
• There are not enough glasses in the dining room.
• toothbrushes also need at least one glass, which is naturally not there, as well as shelves on the sink.
• poor oranges are taken out only once and they end 5 minutes after the start of the meal. Eat apples is called because there is nothing else from fruits and will not be.
• There are only 8 faded, stained umbrellas with broken footboards for 90-100 sun beds by the pool!
You can add 50 more sun beds and there should be 70 umbrellas!!!
It's funny for the staff to watch poor people trying to take a seat.
• There are no mattresses on the sun beds.
• There are no handrails. Poor elderly people and parents with young children.
• There is no indication of depth.
• when descending, it usually goes smoothly into the depths, and then more steps begin here.
• by the sea, there are no sun beds, umbrellas, or any kind of differentiation and understanding of where hotel guests should rest.
• WiFi is not working anywhere.
• Music is playing under the windows until 23.
• The animator is generally a separate topic. He doesn't keep a schedule, especially for outsiders. Expressions like "At 12, my pot is already burning" are the norm for him.
• There is no first-aid kit either. The animator asks the parents for something.
• The animator doesn't have any inventory either.
• the only thing the security at the entrance is busy is looking at the tourists at the entrance and scratching their bellies.
Hello, we had a rest from May 12 to 22, everything is fine, I liked everything, room cleaning every day, everything is clean, everything is beautiful, everything is super. But there is one drawback, when everyone was evicted, they quickly began to collect things and left women's shorts in, the shorts were not returned to us although we still sat in the lobby for 2 hours. What kind of cleaner (maid) who saw after the eviction that there were shorts left in the room could somehow be reported. As a result , she probably took it to herself .Before that, we searched everything, there was nothing. So they took it for themselves. That's not how it's done. This is a minus for the hotel.
I liked the hotel in general , of course it's a problem with elevators, 300 rooms and 2 elevators, you have to wait and not the fact that he will arrive and you will leave ((( . After the room in gorki, the city of 50 m2, the room of 12 m2 is small for 3 , the food is good , meat , fish , salads , soups , porridges , compotes, tea, coffee, karkade, generally food for every taste, you will not stay hungry, the staff is polite! The pool is in the theme there, if you don't have a car and can't afford to go on an excursion, you can't actually walk there either, where there's a park and a small embankment, and a pool to sunbathe and swim will save you! The view from the room is awesome)))
We stayed at this hotel from July 13 to 22, 2024,. A room on the 18th floor with a sea view. Pros: great view from the window, the room is clean, there is a hairdryer, air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, water is running well. A kettle is provided on request. The food is normal, there is always something to take. The sea is clean and warm, dolphins were seen almost every morning near the shore. The room is cleaned every day, linen and towels are changed once every four days. The hotel provides animation for children and adults. Of the minuses, the most important thing is the elevators, you have to wait a long time, but my husband and I always went down on foot, in fact it's easy, because each floor has a balcony, you can admire the view of the mountains and breathe fresh air. Twice a day we walked up to the 18th floor instead of charging)) and to save time. Another disadvantage: on the way to the beach, there is a very strong smell from garbage cans and sewers. It would be very nice if a large sunshade was made on the beach, like on the neighboring beach. We did not get sick with rotovirus, because we observed basic hygiene, drank and brushed our teeth with bottled water. In general, we were satisfied with the rest. The sea is just super!!!
The hotel is great! Cleanliness and order, thanks to the hotel staff for their hospitality and responsiveness. 4 meals a day, excellent. Chefs and kitchen staff, Well done! The only drawback is that a couple more elevators on the 18th floor were not taken into account during construction. There are only two elevators, which are constantly queuing. And another note to the hotel administration, the pool for children and adults is combined, but there is no heater provided. I almost drowned when I abruptly stumbled from a children's pool into an adult. Children who can't swim can drown. I recommend staying at this hotel. I will be happy to go on vacation at this hotel again.
Everything is fine except the kitchen. It's been 4 days and it's never been delicious. Canteen food at a roadside inn. We immediately switched to a cafe, and friends...We tasted it. With regret.
The rooms are clean, the cleaning is on time, even with an electrical collapse, the generators were turned on and the elevators were working. The pool is clean, great for kids.
The staff is polite and courteous.
Nice clean hotel. Beautiful sea view. Confident, honest three stars. Wine, popcorn, ice cream non-stop. The buffet matches the hotel's stars. We will definitely come here again!
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The food is excellent, delicious, varied and endless from 7 to 20 o'clock, in addition to breakfast, lunch and dinner, additional snacks, alcohol from 10 to 22 o'clock, ice cream and popcorn, kebabs...from 15 to 18 hours... The rooms are nice, clean, daily cleaning. Polite staff.
Of the shortcomings, there are few elevators, there are no handrails in the pool, animation for children for three, except for the young man by the pool "marshmallow", his children adored. There is no animation for adults at all.
We stayed at this hotel from 4 to 8 May. We flew with Biblio Globus. The price tag was May. Biblio Globus from abroad, picks up from the hotel 6-7 hours before the plane, it turned out that out of 6 nights, there were 4 full days...Biblio-Globus cleverly sets departures and arrivals ... Of the advantages of the hotel: good location, everything is nearby, a standard room with a balcony overlooking the sea, but there is still a pool and a construction site before the sea, a good mattress, a fairly clean room, not a bad Wi-Fi. On the cons (there are more of them than the pros): the toilet smells of sewage, a shower with a curtain, water gets on the toilet floor (somehow completely not thought out), pillows are a nightmare. The elevator is a different story, it has 20 floors, there are only 2 elevators that are constantly occupied or loaded (we had the 17th floor)... The dining room is on the 2nd floor, it's clean enough, but as for the food, I liked the casserole and potatoes. Breakfast is more or less (cheese, sausage, casserole, eggs, pasta, chicken, sausages / sausages), but if you arrive after 9, there may not even be glasses. We arrived in the evening and had time for dinner, there was nothing left to eat. We were still out of season, and the canteen could no longer cope with the influx of tourists (there were a lot of people). The pool is warm (it only works from 10 a.m.), it is treated with bleach every morning, if you do not take a sunbed in the morning, there will not be enough space. There is an announcement that you can't drink in glass, but Russian people don't care, they bring bottled beer in the morning, there are a lot of children, where the administration is looking! The sea doesn't seem to be clean, it was out of season, we didn't swim, but a river flows directly into the sea (most likely there is waste there), so Abkhazia is famous for rotoviruses. By prices: cafes are not budget-friendly, only spices and cigarettes are not expensive on the market, the price tag for fruits and vegetables was honestly disappointing (strawberries were 600 rubles, bananas 200 rubles, pears 300-400 rubles, tomatoes 300 rubles, cheese 1000 rubles), in stores the pleasant price for bottled Sweet wine. It's clear that we don't count money on vacation, but we're still going south and planning our budget. On excursions: Ritsa 3000-3800r, Feast 1800 r, thermalsprings from 2800r, Mount Athos (cave) 2500r... something like that +/- for the cost. Conclusion: the hotel is very, very budget friendly, you can eat, but without any variety, Gudauta is not cheap, Abkhazia is beautiful!
