Opinion about the hotel remained mixed... Advantages: location to the beach, proximity to cafes, shops, pharmacies and other places of entertainment for tourists, friendly staff. Cons: rooms and furniture have not been renovated for a long time. Time stopped here twenty years ago. Unfortunately, no one is investing in the development and improvement of the service.

We were vacationing with our son. I really liked it. We lived in different rooms. The staff is friendly, the rooms are comfortable. One note-there is a problem with the TV, YouTube does not work., they could not fix it.
The prices are pleasantly surprising, the sea and the beach (it turns out they are often deceived) are really 5 minutes away.
Next year we will definitely go to the Grand Eagles

Great hotel. A pleasant atmosphere is felt immediately upon entering the hotel. The sea is 350 m from the hotel, 3-5 minutes walk. The rooms are very clean and cozy. Linen is changed every day, water, coffee, sugar are replenished every day. Daily cleaning, high-quality. The staff is very friendly, all Thais, but there were no problems with communication, all had voice translators. The hotel is not big, but very decent. There is no breakfast, but it did not bother, there is a kettle, a refrigerator. There was a safe, an umbrella. In general, I recommend it!👍

Very good location, walking distance to Patong beach is five minutes. There are a lot of inexpensive cafes with a wide selection on the way to the beach. Friendly staff, the rooms have everything you need.

I visited the Grand Orlov Hotel and it was an amazing experience. I felt comfortable and relaxed in my spacious and cozy room. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. I enjoyed the delicious food in the restaurant and the use of the wonderful facilities of the hotel. I will definitely return to Grand Orlov in the future.

A nice cozy hotel (they take a deposit of 1000 baht upon check-in, or you can give it in dollars). Large rooms with balconies (table and two chairs, wall-mounted dryer, but wipe it before hanging on it!), air conditioning in the room, although it does not freeze as much as we would like, but a couple of days after arrival it was already comfortable with it. There is a large closet with many hangers, which is very pleasing, and there is also a safe and a refrigerator (two bottles of 0.5 water are replenished every day). A TV with three Russian channels (one channel and modern movies are playing, the other two are news. They give beach towels at the reception. There are breakfasts for an additional fee of 300 baht (if it is important to someone). It is located between the first and second lines from the beach, so the location is also convenient, all shops are nearby. The only thing I would like to advise is to install scales (even if they are paid, but they are really not enough) and think about lighting in the room (all dark shades and light would be brighter, otherwise in the evening you go into the cave)))). Very nice staff, that at the reception, that the usual cleaning staff.

Recently returned from vacation, stayed at this hotel. It is located in the heart of Patong, a 5-minute walk from the beach. There are many shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs nearby. The room was spacious and clean. Everything necessary for a comfortable stay was present: a comfortable bed, air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, mini fridge and kettle. The hotel staff is very polite and friendly. If we talk about the disadvantages: it's noisy, but this is Patong and all the fun is here, some things in the hotel should be replaced, my bedside table fell out of the closet, but this jamb was quickly eliminated at my request (+ to the responsiveness of the staff).

The hotel is not bad, everything works, it's quiet at night. Well, if the neighbors are not noisy, we are lucky. The cleaning is of high quality. There is foot water near the entrance - it is very good when you come from the beach. It is necessary to show it when checking in. The wish is not to force the entire porch of the bike and - you need to leave a passage! And so the hotel is even very wonderful!

We had a rest in March 2024.
The hotel has a great location: the beach and the whole hangout are very close, but at the same time a quiet street.
The rooms are large and bright. Daily cleaning with a complete change of bed and towels.
There is no food or pool in the hotel! A great option when you only need a room.
There are always friendly and polite guys at the reception. You can ask for beach towels.

I swear, if I could put more stars for the location, I would. Because the hotel is a three-minute walk from the sea, the neighbors have a wonderful and delicious restaurant that also delivers to the room. The rooms are quiet, atmospheric, clean, the bed is large and comfortable. We stayed for a little more than two weeks, and during our stay there was not a single joint, all the staff were very friendly and nice. In general, I recommend it.

I really liked the hotel! The rooms are clean, the interior is modern, the view from the window was just wonderful, the staff was polite and pleasant. After visiting this hotel, there were a lot of positive emotions. Lovely and helpful staff, pleasant interior, convenient location, 5 minutes walk from Patong beach and 10 minutes from Bangla Road. Well-maintained rooms, beautiful view from the balcony and a quiet street. I recommend it!

Excellent location. Clean, cozy, quiet. Everything is nearby: beach, massage, shops, cafes. The lack of breakfast is rather a plus! The room has a refrigerator, kettle, mugs, glasses. It's easy to organize breakfast for yourself! I recommend it!

It takes 2 hours to drive from the airport (I spotted it on purpose!). There is NO Russian-speaking staff at the reception. Upon check-in, they take a deposit of 1000 baht, and return it upon check-out. We settled into a 305 room with a view of the neighboring Boomerang hotel, I do not advise it, it is very noisy, also the road, motorcycles drive without a muffler, the staff from neighboring hotels yells like crazy until the morning. The location of the hotel is well located from shops, restaurants and of course the beach. The hotel itself is not new, I thought I would not be able to live there, because it smells terribly damp. The bed linen is clean, but the mattress itself, pillows and blankets stink, it is impossible to sleep. I got used to it and lay down with my head on the contrary, it helped. They clean every day, replenish coffee, sugar, cream, water, 2 bottles of 0.5. The bathroom has cotton swabs, soap, shower gel and shampoo. There is a safe in the closet, an umbrella, an extra pillow. All that is missing can be asked from the staff. There are no animals in the room. The balcony is rusty. The air conditioning is dirty, the chairs are dirty too. Be sure to bring slippers and a rag with you, it will come in handy. In general, you can stop if the prices are not so high out of season.

In general, the hotel left a pleasant impression. Neat, tidy rooms, yes, a little outdated design, but I liked it even more - like my grandmother's in the village, everything is so wooden and warm. I would like to thank the Russian-speaking staff separately, I could not explain myself to the receptionist, the manager came up and we dealt with everything in our native language) Of all the rest, it was normal, the conder was cold, we woke up in the morning and ran to the beach)
