The hotel is very conveniently located close to the very center of the city, surrounded by a fortress wall. All major historical sights and tourist spots are within walking distance - the bell and drum towers, the southern gate used by the emperor, the Muslim quarter, and an antique street. There is a souvenir shop in the lobby, a universal buffet, there are both purely Chinese dishes and familiar European dishes, a lot of vegetables, there are definitely no problems with the fact that there is nothing to feed the children. The rooms are spacious, the beds are one and a half, the blankets are huge, there are bathrobes and slippers, it's a pity they are not designed for larger Europeans, there is WiFi, TV channels are only in Chinese, the bathrooms are large, there is a shower cabin and a bathroom, a full set of shampoos, conditioners, toothbrushes, cotton swabs, a hairdryer. There is a refrigerator, a safe, a set of dishes and a kettle. The walls are really poorly soundproofed, you can hear the neighbors. The window comes off funny, you need to open the handles on both sides and pull one handle towards you, and push the other out, with a strong enough pressure, it is fixed in the middle from above and below and will rotate and open 20 centimeters for ventilation. Our Windows overlooked the courtyard, it was quiet enough, but in the morning music starts playing at the school next door. To the right, if you leave the hotel, there is a bank where you can change the currency, but it is better to come with yuan, otherwise you can lose a lot of time and not the fact that you can change (you need a passport to exchange, depending on the bank, you also need a phone number, hotel address or home address, occupation, profession, I was faced with the fact that they might refuse after filling out the questionnaire, not all types of bills are accepted, hundreds and tens are taken calmly, but they did not accept $ 50 bills in 3 banks, they take small euros without questions). Small department stores of the 7 eleven format near the house, there is a block away, they seem to work around the clock, if you do not disdain street food, then there is plenty of it nearby (whole fruits or you can take a ready-made chopped mix, fried meat, vegetables, seafood, caramelized vegetables, noodles, ice cream, you can even find the cakes we are used to). You can only go up to your floor by attaching a room card, so there are no strangers in the hotel, there are cameras all around, it feels very safe. It is enough for taxi drivers to show the hotel card, they find it without problems, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel and there is a metro nearby. All locals, Russians, and Europeans stay at the hotel.
A hotel with a touch of aristocracy, just as pretentious and just a little tired of life. Convenient location in the center, a 20-minute walk to the ancient city wall, along which you can walk, it's worth it (entrance costs 56 yuan). There are cafes and shops around the hotel. A full set of soaps in the room, from a toothbrush to body lotion, personalized towels, bathrobes and slippers, a safe, a tea set. You can stay for a couple of nights, because the bed was beautiful and soft, the shower was working properly, and the breakfasts were great (not every hotel in China will have 3 types of cheese for breakfast, you know).
Overall, a good hotel. Of course, some things need to be repaired... but this is usually the case in fours. The breakfasts are great! The location is on a shopping street, which is convenient for shopping. If you go to the right, you will find many small and not very large retail outlets, on the left you will understand - you will find a large shopping center!
