When checking in, consider everything that you should have in your room.
Especially the towels.
It was our first time here, and it didn't even occur to me to count everything.
When we were evicted, we were told that we were missing 2 beach towels. Which we didn't even use, they were lying in a pile when we checked in, and they were lying there.

We spent 3 days. Convenient location, not a noisy area, 5 minutes to the sea. There are pharmacies, shops, cafes nearby. There is a bar on the 7th floor with an interesting menu. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, hairdryer, kettle, mugs and glasses. They are cleaned every day. Towels are 3 pieces per person. Buffet breakfast, excellent menu. Special thanks for the porridge on the water. On the 1st floor there is a spa center, we went to the master Elena-an excellent professional.
Not a bad hotel, close to the sea, but also close to the railway, the prices are high for accommodation. Buffet and restaurant on the 7th floor with panoramic sea and mountain views and an open balcony.
We went to rest at this hotel. He doesn't even deserve one star. If you want to have a car wash in the room for 6 thousand rubles at night, first there was a car wash under the windows, then the generator worked, and there were also garbage cans!! The stench is such that it is impossible to go out on the balcony. Cleaning is only according to the requirements, and if you do not ask, then they will forget to clean it. We appealed to the administration to be relocated, but they refused us!!
Breakfasts at the levels of a sanatorium near Moscow, porridges and salads. Fruits are only apples and oranges, and this is in the height of summer. And they gave us a lunch box (upon departure) - for one person, one egg, one pancake, and old bread with a piece of cheese, they forgot to put water.

I recommend that you count the towels in the presence of the staff when accepting the room at the entrance. They took money at the exit for towels that were missing at the entrance. There was neither time nor desire to argue.

The hotel is good, we were in June 2022. Room service, room cleaning every day, linen change every 3-4 days. Meals - breakfast buffet for 4 out of 5. There is no normal meat or cutlets, only sausages. There are few fruits. Otherwise, there is a choice and it is quite tasty. The location is good - 2 lines from the sea. There is a spa center in the basement. But there is no normal pool, only in the SPA for a lot of money and a tiny one. The room is fully equipped, air conditioning, TV, kettle, mini fridge. The bathroom in the room is decent. The headboard was worn out and fuck it)). The room came with a balcony overlooking the sea and the mountains at the same time. In general, I put 4 out of 5, just according to the number of stars)).
The hotel is good. While I was there, the top floor was still being built. The room is clean and cleaned. The breakfasts were delicious, there was a lot of food to choose from. I didn't like that we wanted to move out the day before and were told that the difference would not be refunded and therefore stayed for another day. Well, the prices themselves in hotels, in my opinion, are hung all over the city. It is better to rent a room if there is no need for luxury conditions.

The beach is within walking distance, but I recommend walking five minutes towards Old Gagra - Gagra beach is more equipped and comfortable. Across the street from the hotel there is a wine shop, near which sits the unique Eleanor, who sells excursions (do not take evening Gagra), there is a bus stop nearby. The center of Novaya Gagra is a 10-minute leisurely walk away. It is better to go to the market by minibus, 25 rubles per person, they go often. It is also better to get to Staraya Gagra by minibus, but you can also walk :)

The hotel definitely does not pull in 4 stars, the rooms are shabby:
- the headboard is peeling off a lot, after a rest you need to take a shower, the whole body and hair are covered in pieces of white "dermantine"
- stains on towels, on the carpet
- torn wallpaper, broken bathroom mirror
- in the description of the room, the bed was positioned as a double bed, in fact, two single mattresses were placed on the double bed. I was resting with a young man, after 5 days of such a joint sleep, the whole body hurts, the mattresses immediately move apart, forming a hole into which someone falls in turn, it is extremely inconvenient and harmful to health.
The spa is paid, the prices are high, I did not use these services.
The room is well cleaned.
The restaurant provides a buffet breakfast. There is not much food, but it is of high quality, upset by the lack of a coffee machine.
The hotel also has a restaurant on the 7th floor, I liked everything, it was very tasty, but the prices are like in Moscow restaurants in the center.
It's really very close to the sea - 5 minutes, but we didn't swim in front of the hotel, we need to go further to find a more comfortable entrance to the sea and the absence of crowds of people.
Payment is possible only in cash or by transfer (as in almost all establishments/shops in Abkhazia).
There was an extremely unpleasant situation at the check-out. We lost the room key card (they give out one card), immediately went to the reception for a new one, paid the fine on the card by transfer. When it was time to check out, the receptionist asked us to pay a fine of 1000 rubles, which we paid immediately, which I told the employee. The administrator asked to show the receipt in the phone, i.e. employees do not record such things in their program... And if I had made the payment in cash, then there is no way to prove my case. The situation was very ugly, especially the behavior of the administrator. The girl began to act aggressively, behave incompetently, instead of calmly dealing with the situation and trying to solve the problem.
The hotel is on a solid three, I will not return here anymore. For those who love comfort and service, I do not recommend it
The hotel is not bad compared to the general level of service in Abkhazia, but 4* stars cannot be given to the hotel.
Of the cons:
- no mosquito net on the windows;
- water was put in the room only upon arrival, upon request they said that it was no longer allowed;
- at the end of the vacation, the shower broke down, we are waiting for the master for the second day;
- the standard rooms are located exclusively on the ground floor, we had a balcony overlooking the backyard, where the remnants of building materials are stored after repairs (some rooms have access to the parking lot, there is no balcony in this case, as far as I understand), I attach a photo.

An ambiguous impression of the hotel.. for Abkhazia, of course, it is quite decent, but the room is quite shabby, the renovation is old, the floor is carpeted, which in my opinion is very unhygienic (it is covered in some stains from previous tenants). There are air conditioners in every room, but the blocks from them are located on the balcony, so it is almost impossible to go out there (heat outside + hot air from the air conditioner). Breakfast is served on the 7th floor, there are few tables, someone always has to wait. The choice of dishes is quite monotonous, the food is slightly warm, the porridge is generally of a strange consistency, too liquid. But in general, compared to the surrounding private sector, a lot of unfinished buildings, old houses and other ruins, the hotel is quite normal.
A great hotel, we stayed there in 2015. Everything was at the highest level. The rooms are clean, cleaned every day. The food is varied, the food was very tasty.
It takes 5-7 minutes to walk to the sea.

The room has a wide balcony with a table and chairs, and there is also a table and 2 chairs in the room. There is a closet with a safe, a small refrigerator, but without a freezer. The toilet with shower is in excellent condition. There are no complaints about the numbers. The staff did a great job! Everything would be fine, but......
A huge minus is the disgusting breakfasts! We had 5 days of breakfast and all 5 days the same breakfast, there is no variety! Omelette, sausages, fresh vegetables, pancakes with lots of soda! After every breakfast, heartburn was tormented!
The hotel has one name. In Turkey, a poor two is better!

I do not recommend it. They settled in front of the construction site: the builders walked opposite and looked into the windows. I had to close the curtains. It is clear that it is not worth talking about sitting on the balcony in the evening and drinking tea / coffee / wine. They asked to relocate - they barely persuaded. We did a favor and moved to the second floor above the parking lot, with TWO air conditioners: one from our room, the other from the next room. The air conditioners were making noise like mining hammers. That is, the residents of the next room enjoyed the silence at our expense. Again, we are without a balcony. A separate issue is the restaurant. The breakfasts are at a very average level. Gentlemen, well, it's summer: where are the fruits? We came in the evening - the prices are atomic, the waiters are unfriendly, it's not tasty. One advantage is that it is close to a public beach.
The weather was hot this year in August. Thanks for the air conditioning. The room was cleaned every day. I had to insist on changing the towels. In the morning, breakfast is a buffet. Everything is fine. They have never been poisoned. There was a cafe on the veranda on the 7th floor. In principle, food is not a problem in Abkhazia. The beach is a 5-minute walk away. In this heat, we went to the sea at 6 a.m. The sea is warm and calm. Clean and transparent. Dolphins were coming . In general, there are no special comments to the staff of the hotel. Just words of gratitude and good luck.

The sea can be reached in a couple of minutes.
And if you leave the hotel and walk a little to the right without crossing the road, you will find a wonderful cafe "Boat" - inexpensive and delicious.
Tours can be purchased across the street from the hotel.. seller Eleanor of original appearance will conquer you immediately. In a minute he will call you by name, tell you everything, and not only about the excursions.

For men and those who like a light breakfast, there were cereals and balls for children. All this is natural in any quantity and + fruits (nectarines, apples, oranges, watermelon)
The cafe, which is under the roof, is pleasant, cozy, prices, like everywhere else, are normal. Music until 24.00. I had a room on the 6th floor and a cafe on the 7th floor did not interfere with anything, I could not hear at all, not much at all.

The iron is on the floor. Towels for 2 per person + 1 for legs, changed every other day. Beach towels are available. The bed linen was changed 1 time in 3 days. The cleaning is of high quality (many thanks to the maid Oksana!). The bathroom is modern, shower with three levels, heated towel rail. Liquid soap, shower gel, liquid shampoo, everything was enough. There were disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste, but laid out once, as well as disposable slippers.
There is a safe with a combination lock. A table with two chairs both in the room and on the balcony. Double bed with 2 mattresses, bedside tables, wall sconces. A large upholstered armchair. Table, wardrobe.
The breakfasts were monotonous, but we always left well-fed. There was not enough kettle in the room, sometimes I wanted to drink tea.
To the beach at a slow pace of 7 minutes, we walked to the right of the hotel. The beach is pebbly. The sea is clear, the water is 25 degrees.

The hotel is new, it has its own parking. The room is fresh, spacious and clean enough, there is a balcony. The window offers a beautiful view of the mountains and a little view of the sea.
