A wonderful hotel at the junction of old and new Gagra. Modern, cozy rooms with a balcony. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay. Daily cleaning and change of towels. Beautiful hall on the ground floor- reception, friendly staff. The restaurant on the 7th floor has a beautiful view of the sea and mountains. Meals- aries table- a variety of dishes, fruits, pastries, drinks. There are also for children. The hotel has a spa floor- hammam, massage and other treatments. The sea is a three-minute walk, the central embankment and the market are 10-15 minutes away. There is a small, cozy courtyard for relaxation- swing benches, a fountain - everything for a cozy, relaxing holiday. In the evening, you can sit at the bar and drink a glass of wine.

The hotel is located 10 minutes from the sea. The renovation in the rooms is excellent, and in the hotel itself. For this, a solid 5. Breakfast is served, buffet style. From 8 to 10. The dishes were more or less different. We always came late, closer to 10, there was always a choice, even watermelons were always left for us. I liked that there is cable TV. The child was poisoned on the third day of rest, they stayed at home with him for a day, watched all the new movies, even remembered the brigade. Otherwise, I would have to watch news about Ukraine on 20 channels all day... The disadvantage is that the laundry is paid- 700 rubles. For the room rate of 16000 rubles / day, it was already possible to do the service for free. There is no pool. There is a small park with benches, swings and urns for smokers. If only they had made a small slide for children. There are many different shops nearby. We went for a walk first to the right of the hotel, everything is expensive there. Then they began to walk to the left, towards the center, everything turned out to be much cheaper there. We found cheap canteens. 1000-1500 by 5x. And before that, we ate 4-5 thousand rubles for lunch. In general, we realized that Abkhazia had become a little arrogant in the summer of 2024 and the price tag was too high, and not even slightly. The sunbeds cost 600 rubles/day. The husband contacted the caretaker, paid him 1000 rubles for all the days and went every day for free. There were enough sun beds for everyone and even there were free ones.

Gorgeous in a word in this hotel, freshly renovated, bright room, everything is within walking distance, I definitely liked it!) I recommend it to everyone...By the way, we came from an excursion in the evening and we didn't have the strength to go anywhere yet and we decided to use the room service)...I ordered a kebab via WhatsApp)...they said to wait 25 minutes, timed it ... and voila, they brought everything, paid by transfer)... kapets I really like this hotel))))Thanks to everyone ....! But in the evening I found one small drawback when we gathered to sleep at 22.00 on the 6th floor right under the restaurant which is on the 7th floor, music began to be heard, But the truth was classical and did not particularly bother us, perhaps even the opposite, But still ((...I love silence.

I was at this hotel on vacation in 2020. I still remember my vacation with warmth and pleasure! The hotel rooms are pleasant, there is a balcony. The sea is across the street. There are shops and cafes nearby. The hotel has a guided tour program. There is a spa room. I attended a massage. The hotel administration will greet you with a smile and will tell you everything, explain. The dining room is excellent, where you can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The room was 608, as the girl said, the best, I agree the room is comfortable, but there are comments.
Be careful with the children, a light carpet with old stains not removed (as it turned out, to our advantage),
wine was spilled, unfortunately the cleaner could not wash it to the end (by the way, there are no complaints against her, conscientious) recognized their joint, paid a fine of 3000 rubles. If the carpet was without old stains, the fine would be more as the employee said!There is always noise from the highway and occasionally there is a construction site nearby.
They don't respond promptly to messages, it's easier to take the elevator down.
There was no outlet in the bathroom, but they gave out an extension cord, in our opinion, it doesn't pull 4 stars! take it closer to the sea, not by the road!
Good breakfast buffet!
The minimarket opposite accepts cards and good prices, in the hotel only transfer or cash.

The hotel is barely a C grade and definitely not worth the money. The breakfasts are not tasty, the coffee is of such concentration that from a teaspoon of milk it turns light beige. Well, the food is just tasteless. Tired rooms, which sometimes were not cleaned, even when we asked for it, a double bed is two beds pushed into one, the air conditioners work poorly and there is an unpleasant smell from there. There is no microwave. That is, you will not be able to eat in the room, you will definitely have to walk around the cafe and spend a lot of money on lunch. Unstable Internet, which constantly disappears for a couple of minutes, a disgusting smell in the toilet, a disgusting view from the balcony to the construction site, the door to the balcony is made crookedly and there have always been problems with opening and closing it.
The only plus is 3 minutes to the sea. That's all.
No, the hotel is not the worst, but it shouldn't cost that much(
We won't come back here anymore

We had a family vacation in October, when we checked in, it did not even occur to check the availability of all towels. Upon departure, we were told that there were not enough 2 beach towels, which we did not even use. We had our own towels with us! And you will have to pay 300 rubles for each. As they say at the reception that the staff allegedly changed the bed linen and towels, we were also told about this, but for the entire time of arrival, the maximum was vacuumed! The blankets in the room don't even change them! You will sleep under the ones that visitors used to hide under before you, without washing them. We saw this when we returned to the room to check the towels.And the working staff with us just collected them from the sofas, and twisted them into a closet. So be careful not to spoil your mood when you leave

The hotel is located in Novaya Gagra, it is better to take a hotel in Staraya Gagra. I liked the breakfasts at this hotel. With regard to cleaning, not very much - the cleaner was unhappy when she was told that she needed to clean the room completely, although she did not clean every day, so we were clean and we refused to clean every other day. My daughter, in connection with the adaptation, became ill. The reception refused to call an ambulance. The hotel is average.

For Abkhazia, it's not a bad hotel, but there are a lot of minor flaws, such as: a meager and monotonous breakfast, lack of a coffee machine, the smell of dampness in the room, the master waited a long time to refuel the air conditioner, it's not far to the sea, but sewage flows into the nearest place, so it's worth walking a couple hundred meters along the pebbles in one direction the beach. The hotel looks quite clean and tidy. Probably because it's relatively new.
The main complaint is the lack of a mini-bar and only two bottles of water at the entrance (which were not replenished during the stay), as well as the lack of tea and coffee in the room. The coffee that is offered for breakfast, of course, has one name.
Completing the theme of water, we somehow walked past the reception and there were several packages of water lying open on the floor next to it. They came up to take a bottle, to which the girl from behind the counter barked, "This is not for you! We only have 2 bottles at check-in!" Oooh. We had an early check-out, before breakfast, so in the evening we were given a "lunchbox" consisting of an egg, a small sandwich, a cupcake and an apple. Satisfying, you can't say anything, and again without a drink. When handing over the room at the reception, the woman in front of me was given a bottle of water, I asked next, to which I received: "Oh, no more, you need to go to the warehouse. Well, in general, we do not provide. Goodbye!" is, of course, a four-star answer.
Breakfasts, in general, are normal, but monotonous, you will not stay hungry.
The rooms are quite decent, of course, there is something to get to (for the owners - the cleanliness and condition of the bathrooms). We had a balcony with a "view" of the courtyard. It's better than going to a construction site.
I was at the very beginning of the season, it seems that in the midst of vacations it may seem quite noisy if our alko compatriots will wander down the corridor, and their children will play with the doorbell, even their own.
Opposite the hotel there is a good snack bar "giros", nearby there are also places where you can have lunch.
The stones/pebbles beach has been extinguished after last year's hurricane and is not being cleaned up quickly yet.
My rating is 3 stars, which is exactly what this hotel has.

We had a rest in July 2024!
There are not many advantages in the hotel)
The first is a good location.
The second one on the top floor has a SKY Bar with a good view and a good kitchen.
There are no more advantages!
There are a lot more disadvantages!
The rooms are tired and dead, the air conditioners are smelly and no one serves them,the door to the balcony did not close, water in the room only upon arrival and two bottles) cleaning was carried out once and it was a towel change, even the garbage was not taken from the room 😀
A 4* hotel, but in fact it is like a guest house, there is no service and amenities there, if you are waiting for a transfer or leaving in the evening, you cannot extend the room, only the toilet on the ground floor is available to you, where there is not even toilet paper.
Breakfasts are very meager, oatmeal porridge for those who suffer from rotovirus, casserole and omelette, vegetables, tea and coffee, and so on every day. Obviously, the room does not cost more than 9000 rubles per night.

We lived in this hotel, of the minuses: water is given out only at the entrance, cockroaches run around the shower, a constant unpleasant smell in the bathroom, lunch boxes were given out terrible, a piece of bread and two pieces of sausage, and if you're lucky, you can put cheese, boiled eggs are not washed. The bathroom looks smashed, the vials are stripped, broken.

In principle, the hotel is new, good, the restaurant is on the 7th floor, it's a pity that there is no lunch and dinner, surprisingly Wi-Fi works perfectly, if compared with how Wi-Fi works in foreign hotels, another of the disadvantages is that there is a shabby folding sofa in a two-room room, you fall through and feel a wooden back the crossbar, it's impossible to sleep and then my back hurts, I said at the reception, the maids brought some kind of thin mattress, like to put it on top of the sofa under the sheet, after which it didn't get much better!

We checked into a standard room without a balcony. The room was small but clean.
Later they noticed that ants live on the table next to the window, which is unpleasant.
The staff is polite, but not always executive. On the second day after check-in, the administrator was informed that the dryer in the bathroom was not working, but by the end of the eviction, no one had fixed anything.
The breakfasts are ordinary, they taste normal, in my opinion there are not enough fresh fruits (usually there were apples and apricots that did not look super fresh).
The cleaners did not always change towels and bed linen.
Convenient location of the hotel, close to the sea (literally across the street).
The hotel has a sauna for an additional fee, but I would not recommend it (the repair inside is good, clean, but if you disassemble the details ...). The pool is small and dirty (there was rust on the edges, which was in the water. In the shower (namely in the sauna) there was a lot of plaque on the floor and I did not dare to enter it. The sauna and hammam are nice and clean.
In general, I do not think my money is worth it, since there are shoals that the staff turned a blind eye to and did not solve.

Let's start from the beginning. We bought vouchers from the tour operator to the 4 Zveda hotel. But, apparently, the understanding of these stars is a little overstated here. At first we liked everything. The view is gorgeous, the room is clean, everything is fine. The first but. The hatch in the bathroom is collapsed, the ventilation is all dirty, the sink is torn off. And secondly, after spending 2 nights, I began to be disappointed in the money spent. There are 2 units of air conditioning on the balcony. One is from our room, the other is from the next one. We did not use the air conditioner, as it was useless (apparently, it had not been refueled since the very foundation of the hotel). But the neighbors turned on this useless wind turbine all the time. I lived all 10 days like in a factory. Instead of listening to the songs of birds and the sound of the sea, I enjoyed how my neighbors were cooling off. Even with the balcony door closed, you could hear this eerie murmur of the block. Next, breakfast. They were included, but... When the hotel is fully loaded, you have to wait for your breakfast. Not for long, but 15 minutes to stand waiting or sit in the room. There was no such thing in another 4-star hotel, there in Abkhazia. There is no pool, only a paid one. There are also advantages. Balcony, view, clean linen, close enough to the sea. But nevertheless, I doubt that I will go to live in this hotel again and will not recommend it to anyone.

Nice hotel in the city center. Everything is new inside, no state department (this is not a reworking of the old Soviet hotel), the breakfast is delicious, the staff is normal, cleanliness in the room and on the territory, there is a small garden.
One of the disadvantages is that there is no private beach.
The sea is across the street and a couple of shops (but it's really 5 minutes), the location is very good, everything you need is nearby.

A very beautiful view from the bedroom window of the sea and the mountains from the balcony of the hall!!! A comfortable huge bed in the bedroom with a large mattress, 2 TVs, 2 air conditioners, a kettle, dishes for two, a cozy small courtyard with benches and a fountain, which is all immersed in greenery!!! Towels and bed linen are absolutely snow-white. The location of the hotel is good, close to the sea, near cafes, pharmacies, shops with wine, spices and delicious Turkish sweets. I also liked the breakfasts, both adults and children were full!!! I would like to improve the cleaning of rooms on the first floor (suite), a big difference compared to cleaning the fifth floor!!!
