On January 8, 2024, the largest flag of Kyrgyzstan in an updated design was solemnly raised here. As part of the ceremony, a huge flag was carried along the main square to the sounds of the anthem, and then it was hoisted onto the flagpole at the monument to Manas.

The area is really good considering Bishkek was built on a grand scale, it's a pity that the state does not have such projects now, but thank you for at least preserving the legacy of the Soviets
