Everyone who loves Italy should visit Cefalu. One of the most beautiful cities in the country: the historical center with an ancient cathedral, a beautiful promenade above sandy beaches. The Tourist Hotel is quite modest, but very cozy, conveniently located on the very shore, has its own outdoor pool, live music plays in the evenings at the bar. The breakfasts are quite decent, but I would not recommend taking a boarding house: there are many excellent restaurants for every taste and budget within a 10-minute walk. And most importantly, the hotel offers magnificent sea excursions to the Lipari Islands, one of which, Stromboli, has a permanent volcano. Well, Palermo, the capital of Sicily, is not far from here, just an hour by train, this city must be seen. Palaces, cathedrals, monuments, avenues, theaters... I can't list everything.
When choosing a hotel, I was guided by 4 main criteria: which reviews (first of all, why negative, if any), close to the sea, breakfast included (preferably a buffet), your own beach and free sun beds.
But these pragmatic criteria fade before the desire before leaving: "If you have to visit Cefalu again, we will stay only as a Tourist!!! "
Because how can you appreciate that you are welcome here, you feel like you are in paradise!
