We would like to express our special gratitude.
I liked everything very much: the human attitude, the living conditions (clean towels, bed linen, etc.), the hosts help with visiting excursions (they booked an excursion through the hostess), traveled all over Abkhazia!)
The house has a friendly atmosphere, friendly people. The hosts are excellent, sociable.
There are all amenities: a shower, a kitchen (dishes, appliances, etc.), a play area, a veranda on each floor, the possibility of Parking on the territory of the house.
The house is well located, close to the beach and shops)
Thank you very much for a good stay!
Sincerely,
Savva and Lyuba
I really liked both the house and its location (gorgeous), well, of course the owners themselves. Very kind and helpful people!!!!! The rooms are clean and cozy. The beach is 5 minutes away! The embankment is very beautiful and also nearby for 10-15 minutes at least.
The rest is great!!!!
I recommend it to everyone!!!!🥰
We had a rest at the Violla Guest house in September 2023. Although it can hardly be called a vacation. We booked a double room in advance, the hostess sent a photo of the room. As it turned out later , the photo of the bathroom turned out to be different (a photo of the bathroom of another room was provided . Upon arrival in Sukhum, we checked in late in the evening, around 23 o'clock in a terrible downpour. The room is located on the 3rd floor. Upon entering the room, the smell of mustiness, mold and dampness is immediately felt. The stated price does not even come close to matching the quality and comfort. (For comparison, we rested in July 2022 in the village of Gechripsh near the border of Abkhazia, the price per room, comfort and living conditions were much better). There is no ventilation in the bathroom, there is a fungus in the form of a black plaque on the walls with old tiles on the floor, dirt, the shower head is broken. Apparently, it is not customary to wash the tile when cleaning the bathroom after the departure of the guests, but neither is the room itself. Apparently, for this reason, we were provided with photos of the bathroom of another room. WiFi is working intermittently. The mattresses on the beds are rumpled, old, already "obsolete", it feels like you are lying in a hammock, completely falling into the middle of the mattress. The TV plays only three channels. The room itself is very small. The territory of the guest house is small. There is a common shabby wooden table in the courtyard. Which is constantly followed throughout the day and evening by a "cerberus" assistant of the hostess named Isolde, watching the guests, asking questions: "are you going on an excursion tomorrow? Are you leaving tomorrow?. When we passed by it for three days after checking in, we were asked the same question – "are we leaving tomorrow?". There is a kitchenette on site, with tables and stoves. There is also a "trading" counter from the hostess of the guest house with wine and honey in the kitchen. The prices of honey and wine are almost three times higher than they are sold at the market and in tents on the way to the sea. Next to it is a glass shelf with Mary Kay products, which is represented by the hostess of the guest house "networker from Mary Kay , a travel agent and a theatrical agent" in one person. Actively promoting these products, excursions and theatrical productions. On the territory of the guest house there is a separate entrance for the guests of the house, if you, God forbid, unknowingly dare to pass by opening the wrong door of the gate of the common fence, you will immediately receive a remark from the hostess that you cannot walk here. In the evening and during the day, two dogs of the hostess of the house run around the territory of the guest house. Raising their paws, they mark the wheels of the guests' cars standing on the territory, approach the guests sitting at a common table between the floors of the house and ask for food. A separate topic with hot water and water pressure. After 17 hours, only cold water, hot water did not flow in a thin trickle.. If you don't have time to wash up before that time, then you didn't have time , so you didn't have time . It seems that the water was just blocked. Moreover, in the neighboring building of the guest house, where the rooms are located without amenities with a shared shower on the 1st floor, there was hot water. This is the "service" you pay for a room with a bathroom, many times more expensive than a room with a shared bathroom, and you have to use a shared shower of a neighboring building and then if it suddenly turns out to be free. We have not seen such a "sincere" attitude towards guests in any guest house as in this one for all the years of our stay on the territory of Abkhazia. Regardless of the fact that our check-in was around 23 o'clock, we paid for this day in full as a day of accommodation. The time of the eviction was not agreed upon either by the hostess of the guest house or her assistant, Isolde. On the eve of our departure, Isolde, who, as usual, was at her combat observation post, was present during our conversation with another guest of the house and heard our conversation, that we were leaving tomorrow and we had a transfer booked for 17 o'clock, did not tell us anything that we needed to vacate the room before a certain time. What was the "surprise" when the next day, coming from the sea at about 12 o'clock and passing by the "observation post", we heard from Isolde - to our address that we urgently needed to vacate the room, which was paid for by us including the day of departure. After that, after 30 minutes, this person started knocking on the door of the room and looked into the room and started shouting at us to immediately vacate the room, since "supposedly" people are waiting for check-in downstairs. Although the day before our departure, almost all the rooms on our floor and the rooms on the floor below were vacant and no one lived in them. After vacating the room, we sat with suitcases and bags waiting for the transfer ordered for 17 hours. Until the moment we moved into our room, no one was occupied, since there were no "fictional" people waiting to be checked in. But this did not prevent the "cerberus" who kicked us out of the room (I call it that after the hospitality shown to us) from continuing to sit at the bottom in his observation point "at the table". After about 40 minutes, she walked past us with a dissatisfied look at us, with a broom and a bucket, slowly went up to our room for cleaning. "Room cleaning" was carried out for no more than 10 minutes and that says it all, why there is such dirt and unsanitary conditions in the bathroom and room. Sitting "on suitcases" on the territory of this guest house, we had only one desire to leave it as soon as possible. And neither in our room, nor in the other rooms of the two floors of the guest house, during our several-hour waiting for the transfer, there were no people willing to check in. But this did not prevent Cerberus from sitting at his "post" and eating watermelon as if nothing had happened. And the fact that people with suitcases, bags exposed by her from the fully paid for the day of arrival (arrived at 23 pm ) and the day of departure of the room, which will have to go to the border for 3 hours, then 4 hours of flight and get a transfer to the house for another 7 hours, she didn't care much. I will not recommend this guest house to anyone, positive reviews were written most likely at the request of the hostess of the guest house, in fact, everything is very sad. And the attitude towards the guests and the living conditions. We're not going there anymore.…
A great guest house! Everything is on the level, service, attitude. The friendly host treats you to homemade wine. Thanks to the hostess Viola, I went to a meeting and sheltered her (I had to urgently move out from another address). I recommend it to everyone! Very convenient location, everything is nearby - shops, cafes, 5 minutes to the beach.
We were looking for a room for the night in this area, the hostess said that she would not rent for less than 2 nights. Since we didn't find any other options, we stopped here. The location is good (the beach of the Navy boarding house is nearby), there are many shops nearby. We were offered a room in the house, which in addition to beds had air conditioning, bedside tables, 2 chairs and a wardrobe. The mirror was in the hallway. The furniture is old. We were provided with clean bed linen. The facilities were on the floor (a large room with a shower, toilet and washing machine and a separate toilet). Wi-Fi is available on site. There is a separate building for a shared kitchen, outdoor summer showers, dining tables. Since we only came to spend the night and there were no other options, everything was fine with us.
Complete unsanitary conditions!
terrible attitude towards the residents!
there is a terrible smell in the house!
the tile in the bathtub is falling off…
The kitchen was a horror!
There was a used razor in the bedside table when you arrived at the room!

A great guest house. Thanks to the hostess Viola, she went to the meeting and sheltered. I had to urgently move out from another address, where it was necessary to climb the mountain, fortunately the money was returned. It's a pity we haven't settled here since we arrived. The friendly host treats you with homemade wine and honey. Convenient location - shops, beach nearby. I recommend it for living.
