We are vacationing here, with our family and in the format of a guest house, for the first time, although we have been to Abkhazia more than once, in different cities and with different levels of comfort - both in the classic Soviet "private sector" and in hotels with boarding houses.
The house is renovated, so far, as the owners said, only the second floor is working. Clean, quiet, alarm clocks - dogs and roosters. The rooms (by the way, quite spacious) have a refrigerator, air conditioning, wardrobe (with hangers!), table, bedside table, towels, WiFi. On the floor there is a shared kitchen (stove, kettle, microwave, minimal utensils), 2 bathrooms and a washing machine. There are clothes dryers on the balcony. There is an ironing board and an iron (I, however, have never used it, but suddenly there are fans of ironing on vacation).
Yes, this is not the city center in the tourist sense, but the beach (by the way, quite empty, at least now), the promenade and the market are 10 minutes away at a leisurely pace. Along the embankment, it takes 20-25 minutes to walk to the main Sukhumi entertainments, it is put in order while you walk - there is a chance to freeze in some cafe or coastal bar or "lose" children in a children's inflatable town.
In general, we like it: it is convenient that the house is a little away from the parties (but it is quite possible to get to them), the owners are adequate, they respond to all our requests and help, the neighbors are friendly. Well, the weather pleases with a separate bonus, there are no Sochi showers.
This does not mean that there are no disadvantages, but they are traditional for Abkhazia, who has ever been here will not be surprised. Everything is the same, romantic in places, desolation, quite Moscow prices, quite expensive Russian communication (if you do not take a local SIM card), and a very slowly developing infrastructure. However, all this does not negate my love for Abkhazia - Apsny - the Land of the soul.
P.S. And such a green friend lives in the corridor. It's plastic.

I sincerely thank the hospitable hosts of the guest house. Cleanliness, order, new renovation, all amenities. Welcome to Rome. I was surprised by the low price per room, three or four times cheaper than similar offers. Near the sea, the market and the historical city center with cafes, restaurants and shops. We had a great rest. Reliable, safe, comfortable.
