We've been vacationing here for two years in a row, I really like it!
Firstly, the hotel is on a mountain above the sea, which means that it is not as hot as at sea. Secondly, it is far from the Batumi-Tbilisi highway, the place is quiet.
Thirdly, it is a Botanical garden with thousands of trees, which makes the air fresh.
It costs about 300-400 rubles to get by taxi from the Botsad or from the Makhinjauri station. The bus from Batumi railway station will take you in 20 minutes, and then go down to the hotel in 5 minutes along a quiet street.
The hostess Maya is friendly, will tell you everything that tourists need, and prepares delicious breakfasts.
The only disadvantage of this place is the difficulty for people with disabilities. The road to the sea takes 15 minutes on foot. Although this is solvable, there is a taxi.
A terrible hotel with a terrible and meager breakfast!!!after the Buckingham review, the owner called at night, threatened and cursed!!!there is no pool, and as they say, there was no pool in June!!!scary type-I do not recommend it!!!
