We had a rest in Abkhazia, came across the DelMar cafe in Gagra and were very satisfied. The location is just perfect - right on the beach, overlooking the sea.
The food is great too. We ordered cream soup and shrimp and were not disappointed. Everything was tasteful. I really liked the local lemonade.
And last but not least, the staff is very attentive. The service was fast and pleasant. In general, Delmar is a great place to relax and have a delicious meal with a beautiful view. I recommend it to everyone!

We had a rest in a guest house in Gagra and were just delighted! 5 points out of 5!
The living conditions are just perfect: cozy rooms, clean bed, everything you need for a comfortable stay. I would especially like to mention the kitchen! The food is simply divine! Everything is fresh, delicious, cooked with a soul. It was felt that the hosts took care of every guest.
We will definitely come back here again!

We stayed in a guest house near the sea and found a Del Mar establishment. They cook very tasty, they have eaten more than once. Khachapuri Del Mar and sea buckthorn tea (rich pleasant taste) have sunk into my soul. I recommend 5 out of 5 establishments!

We lived as a family in two rooms, one with a view of the sea, the second to the courtyard. The first impression was excellent, except that the rooms were supposed to be next to each other, but in fact they were provided at different ends of the corridor. Positive: beautiful view from the window to the sea, clean, daily cleaning.
Of the cons: the room with a sea view is very hot and stuffy. There is a kitchen under it, the floors are always warm. The windows cannot be opened because of mosquitoes, the air conditioner working around the clock is uncomfortable for us. The room overlooking the courtyard is cool, but when the air conditioner is running, the wall and ceiling get wet, which causes a terrible smell of dampness in the room.
The mattresses are very soft for us.

We chose this Del Mar guest house based on its location and good reviews on the Internet. We lived in room 19, terrace, 3rd floor from September 1 to September 15, 2024. Upon arrival in the evening, the disappointments began. They did not find an air freshener in the bathroom of the toilet room, they called the Administrator Inna, said deodorant was not allowed, strangely, they thought there should have been 7 thousand in the room. In the morning we went for breakfast, going down the stairs, one flight is very steep and without a handrail, approaching the door of the Cafe, the Dining room, we saw a Passage only for employees on the door, we were offered to go out onto Tereshkova Street, walk half a block and enter the cafe from the embankment. This rule was invented by the new Administrator Inna, for what purpose they did not understand. If you go to a Cafe, as they said, there is a Flamingo Cafe along the way, we continued to eat there, a good cafe, there is more choice than in Delmar and live music in the evening. There are curtains, there are no curtains in Cafe Delmar and the Sun bakes from 13.00 to 19.00, there are old photos. According to the number, the TV is on the antenna, 6 channels, there is constant interference, sometimes it does not work, you could put a set-top box, and connect YouTube. The wifi speed is very low, the curtains are not black out, the sun wakes up in the morning. The terrace is without canopies, during the day it bakes from hot tiles, in the evening, in addition to mosquitoes, sand fleas bite which climb out of beds with dried flowers. The Del'mar Guest House is a cool, cool, very hospitable house.

Convenient location, three minutes to the sea, lots of shops nearby, the room is clean, the room is cleaned daily. Of the disadvantages, I did not like it, we ordered a standard room, 7000 per day, there was not a single bedside table in the room, not a single shelf, even in the bathroom they explained that the standard rooms were not staffed, although they could have been for such a price. Chairs had to be used instead of bedside tables. The closet door was broken.

We rested from September 20 to October 4, the cost of a room with meals is about 5000. We booked two rooms, settled in different parts of the house (rooms 4 and 8). Room 4 is dark, you live like in a basement, the furniture is old, there were not enough slats on the bed, there is a full freezer of snow in the old refrigerator. There is one broken hook in the bathroom, sitting on the toilet with your knees against the wall, a brown ceiling and one light bulb, it is very dark, the light bulb was asked to be replaced - they did not do it.
In room 8, the lighting situation is better, an extra bed with protruding springs, a thin mattress does not save the situation. The main bed is even worse - the thin mattress is sagging, the main mattress is torn with springs.
The booking was with meals - the breakfasts are delicious. BUT since September 27, the diet has been changed (two items were removed), there was not a word about it when booking.
The only advantage of the guest house is its location on the first line.
I do not recommend visiting this guest house to anyone.

As for the hotel, there are no questions. The staff is beyond praise. cleaning on time, clean, polite, excellent. But upon arrival , be prepared that you cannot go further than 10 meters into the sea , constantly mooring and departing , screaming , boats chasing bananas and jet skis right over your heads. The risk of being killed by all this equipment is maximum. It's a complete mess. There are zero bins or litter boxes on the beaches, so vacationers bury everything in rocks. Crowds of stray dogs who divide spheres of influence every now and then. All the drains from the city flow directly into the sea. We haven't seen any sewage treatment plants all the time. An attractive price tag, yes. But the garbage ..... The garbage is everywhere. In the sea on the beach and in taxi drivers' cars....

I liked everything! They cook very tasty , The boat is really gorgeous !
The waiter girl does not require any tips in the form of 10% ( this is actually originally included in the residual value in the receipt ) and even more so, it does not behave the way some people write in the reviews here !
The attitude towards customers is good for me.
We ran out of pitted olives for salad - they immediately asked if we would order with a stone or if you would choose another salad!
We took the Boat with us , the waiter girl brought it and said - well , it 's a little warm here , should I make a new one ?

We were in a cafe recently and wanted to come back again. We did not regret the delicious dishes, cocktail and panacota. We had a rest in June. Comfort room with sea view, no questions about the room,clean,cleaned every day.I didn't like it, to go to the sea or the cafe you have to go around half a block, there was also a construction site, it was very inconvenient, from the hotel itself there are exits directly to the cafe and to the sea, but it was forbidden to go out there, they chose a hotel on the beach so that they could immediately go out by the sea.There's a separate story about breakfast, it's been the same for 11 days, sausages, eggs, cheese and sausage are not tasty at all, artificial and it's day after day, I was sick of the smell, we still can't look at sausages.

Good afternoon, we rested in this wonderful hotel with my sister from 30.07 to 11.08. We booked back in February at a very tasty price. We booked through the hostess Diana herself, a very nice girl, told everything, showed everything, explained, was always in touch) We booked an economy room (we were rarely in the room, a day on the beach in the evening on a walk) The hotel is very cozy, comfortable, sincere and warm! The room is clean, compact, and cozy. The hotel has a simply amazing terrace, for which I am ready to return to this hotel again and again. Stunning views of the mountains and the sea. There are tables, ottomans, swings on the terrace, there are just no words, how beautiful it is there. There is a shared kitchen, which has everything you need, Wi-Fi is also available, a light generator of its own, there were no problems with anything at all.A very beautiful and compact courtyard. The hotel has its own dining room and cafe, everything is very tasty and not expensive, the staff in the kitchen and in the cafe are very friendly. Leaving the hotel is right on the beach, just half a minute and you're already on the beach. There are many shops, pharmacies, various bars and restaurants with live music for every taste nearby. Vacationers come to DEL MAR and you will never be able to forget this vacation. We had a rest for 11 days, a great guest house. The guest house has a dining room, a cafe where the staff is very friendly and helpful. Separately, I want to mention the waitresses Victoria and Naira know a lot about their work. Good night) we had a rest in Del'mar from 7.07-17.07. We are absolutely delighted!!! We liked this guest house so much.😍 Convenient location👍Near the sea,the promenade,shops! The rooms are clean, hot water,air conditioning, TV....There is everything, And how delicious they cook there..mmmm)There are no words😋 And in the dining room, in the cafe😍 Very kind,friendly staff!!!

We are resting for the 4th year in a row. From the very first time, we stopped looking for something else, we like it so much. They will always meet you, at any time of the day. A guest house on the very shore of the sea, excellent comfortable rooms. The rooms have everything you need. Clean, comfortable. A gorgeous terrace for outdoor gatherings! There is a cafe and a dining room at the guest house. Everything is always delicious and fresh. Special thanks to Marina! All the girls in the dining room and cafe are friendly and helpful. There are plenty of other cafes nearby, but we ate where we lived. For those who like to cook by themselves, there is a summer kitchen with everything you need. Within walking distance of shops, near the market. Very sincere hosts. Thanks to Diana and Boris for the warmth and hospitality! Khachiku - for great excursions!

vacation in June 2022. we did not book anything in advance, I found this place a few hours before my trip to Abkhazia. I wrote in the morning, we arrived in the evening. Diana was very friendly and kind. I picked up a room for the period we need, all the rooms are occupied, we were just lucky... A terrace overlooking the sea, in the evenings we sat and looked at the sea and listened to music. there is a cafe and a dining room, as well as a kitchen in the courtyard, we cooked ourselves a couple of times, visited both the dining room and the cafe. The seals on the territory are just a masterpiece, one likes to sleep in flower pots, the second visits the dining room on a schedule. the staff is also good, they will show everything, help and just funny girls. We stayed at the hotel in May 2022, the hostess, a very nice girl, was met, placed, without any time restrictions, said, after you the room is not occupied, you can stay until the evening, very smiling , a cafe at the territory, real bees work there, they will tell you everything, show you, communicate, one dish included a very tasty sauce , they asked the employee how they do it? So the next day they gave us a jar of sauce , without too much modesty I will say we dined almost everywhere and tastier than at the hotel , we did not eat anywhere , the prices were adequate , beautiful serving, large portions , the rooms were clean and tidy, there is everything you need, we were very satisfied, a beautiful terrace with a swing overlooking the sea , by standards guest house for 5+!!!

The room is clean, the bed linen is the cleanest, and not equal to other hotels, the furniture does not fall through))) we, a family of 5 people, found a room where everyone entered and it was not crowded) the cafe prepares delicious food, music in the evening, dancing, we sit on the observation deck in the evenings, pleasing the eye. Boris met us at 3 a.m., came out at a knock on the door and placed us (10 people) after a 32-hour car ride. The rooms are clean, the owners are kind. The hotel offers European and Asian cuisine. It is 2 steps to the sea. There are rooms with sea views, there are suites on the roof, there are rooms on the ground floor, overlooking the neighboring house. The Internet catches you everywhere. TV with the carousel channel. At the time of writing, we were already at home, we stopped by on August 2nd, after the border was opened, by the way, nothing worked there at all, we thought to turn around to Russia, but Boris gave his word that he would launch the cafe by morning. He kept his word. I'm happy with my vacation. PS: you will not be able to withdraw money in Abkhazia, take cash (there is no cash at ALL in banks!)

We were in Abkhazia for the first time. We didn't book anything in advance. By pure chance, we got to Delmar. We checked into a room with a separate entrance. There were four of us, me, my husband and two children. Later, a two-room room was vacated, but it was not too crowded for us either) we did not move. The price of the room was pleasantly surprised. Our resorts have not seen such prices on the first coastline and with such conditions. Its own dining room and its own cafe. During the week of our stay in Gagra, we never even ate in other places, because everything was very tasty in Delmar. Always fresh food. I was surprised when I read reviews about what is not tasty, etc..The cafe is always packed. If everything was as bad as some people write, people wouldn't go there) In general, everything in Delmar is thought out for a carefree holiday. All the staff are very friendly, attentive and friendly. At any request, everyone goes to a meeting! We had to go far home, we were asked in the dining room to bake sausages in dough for us on the road, so late in the evening before our departure, delicious, fresh sausages were ready! And by the way, Arsen, who roasts everything on the grill, cooks excellent meat! Diana and Boris are very responsive! Everyone is very hospitable, thank you all very much! If Gagra, then only to you, definitely!And of course the sea... It's just divine! We will miss you!
