There are a huge number of tourist groups in this place, and there is a risk of getting into a traffic jam right on the fortress wall. However, despite this, the view of the Alazani Valley is simply amazing.
The Caucasian Ridge is visible ahead, and vineyards are located below, interspersed with small villages. A medieval fortress wall passes underfoot, which is said to be 4.5 km long and is a miniature replica of the Chinese Wall.
It won't take long to walk along the wall. There are sellers of pomegranate juice and water downstairs, as well as a restaurant at the gate — there are fewer people there, and the views are not worse.
Entrance to the territory of the Sighnaghi fortress remains free. Photo lovers should definitely take a look here. And those who prefer not only to admire the beauty, but also to actively spend time, can enjoy tasting or buying spices and teas in local shops.

It's really cool to walk around the walls of a medieval castle. The views are simply amazing. The aisles are quite narrow, there are a lot of people, you need to be careful and have appropriate shoes. There is a very steep staircase at the end. I was very amused by the sign with the parachutist.
