While waiting for the opening on the Stalin Line, we found a landmark nearby. A very beautiful quiet place. Clean territory. There are toilets. You can go down to the river with reeds and ducks and a wooden fairy bridge.
I grew up on Rabochaya Street, next to this historic place. There used to be a club here, a music school where I studied.
My favorite games were on the ruins of the church. Later, this old place was rebuilt.
Every time I come to Zaslavl, I visit this place where I spent my childhood.
An interesting place. There are toilets, although I have not looked into them, but the fact that they are there is encouraging and encouraging) The ancient cathedral looks very elegant. A fragment of the wall is preserved and is poorly visible, but if you want, you can examine it.
Shaft. There is a clearing inside. There is a lonely church in the clearing, obviously of a later origin. The shaft is not an easy shape, there are interesting gatherings outside. The gates clearly appeared later than the rampart. It would be even more interesting to pull up the history of this building.
In winter, a lonely church, separated from the rest of the world by a rampart, looks especially interesting.
Who gets into the topic of churches and city ramparts. Here you are, there is a pleasant route, with a detour along the river bridge. By the way, there is now the beaver dam, well, like "kurobobber!)", etc. After walking around to the end, you can stumble upon a micromuseum, historical and cultural if I'm not mistaken. The servants there are old Belarusian, they came to me, I love this atmosphere.
The earthen ramparts are all that has been preserved from the Zaslavsky Castle. This place is simply attractive, as if you are entering a completely different dimension. Maybe because there is such a beautiful and unusual cathedral in the center of the ramparts.
The old masonry is not a large area. The church looks like an old building.
Minus the toilet! It's the worst I've ever seen. Bypassed, there is a gas station nearby. Maybe they wanted to show how they used to walk in the old days....
A wonderful place, the pride of Zaslavl, a business card, the main thing is that it is active, services are going on, bells are ringing for the whole district!

It is interesting that it was originally a Calvian cathedral. The building has a dual purpose: religious and defense. The tower with a height of 35 meters was completed later. Then the building passed to the Catholics (Dominicans), then it was the Uniate church, the Orthodox Church. It is still there with a break for Stalinist times, when there was a flour warehouse and later a Museum of crafts until 1990. Few people bypass the building from the back of the entrance, and there is a sample of wall masonry without exterior cladding. And there is also a monument to the tsar liberator, though not very clear.
