Hello. I want to share my impressions about the Tsar Bagrat Mountain Hotel. Our vacation started with this hotel on 05/24/2021. I went with the children to this hotel because of the attractive heated pool. Since the Black Sea is always cold at the beginning of June. We were provided with a room on the second floor, bright with all amenities. Bath towels, hand towels, and beach towels were hung in the bathroom. It pleased me. There was even a fully decent power hair dryer. The beds and mattresses are comfortable. The linen is clean. The territory is beautiful, surrounded by greenery. Everything was great until we saw the pool, there was complete disappointment and resentment. The fact that we drove from the airport so far to Sukhum itself and saw this..When asked when... they said that's it. So 4 days have passed. The water was still warming up in the sun for a day.. That is, for a vacation of 9 days, and for such money,!!! There was no animation for children and adults. Wi-Fi works intermittently. The sink was constantly clogged and the water was filled almost to the brim. A man with a plunger was constantly walking around the territory, apparently the problem is widespread. 3 times there was a blackout for 1-1.5. Once I found myself in the shower and without light. I also didn't like the fact that the key should be left at the reception. In general, if you don't leave the key, then no one will clean the room. There were a couple of times when there wasn't even toilet paper. If you need cleaning, you need to remind yourself.

The hotel is located far from the sea, they take you to the beach, but it's not very convenient, the food can hardly be called all inclusive, and today there was no water all day, they turned it off and gave it about 19.00 pm. There is no children's animation at all, and there is also no children's room. Honestly, the hotel hardly pulls in 3*, and if I come to Sukhum again, I will definitely choose a better option.

Transfer.
We stopped by on August 15, on a transfer from the hotel, in a smoky rattletrap for 4tr (from 2vzr + 1reb (5 years), thank God they are alive.
Number.
They put us in a room with fungus in the shower in all corners, on the sink along the entire strip of sealant, forced us with disposable gels so as not to spoil our nerves every time a glance falls.
There are disposable gels, but there is no desire to put everything in order.
Food.
We began to live, the first day found us only dinner, which started at 18:00, and after 40 minutes there was almost nothing, people were standing in the canteen (they call it a "buffet" 😀 maybe, of course, from the fact that it is in the amount of 1 piece) in general, people are standing in the canteen 10 minutes before the opening, to take seats and eat, because there are not enough places or food. There are no fruits, no sweets. We came up with a dessert of white bread with honey , then we started buying sweets in the store and bringing them with us.
Quest in a word, one of the tasks of which is to clean up everything behind you from the table and take it to the table with the dishes. You don't have to take outfits, it doesn't look like a restaurant at all.
Sea.
Gotcha's driver drives to the sea, he's good, he's the only one of the 2 characters who deserve respect, the second is Sergey, he's on household issues, on blockages, on leaking toilets and on all the "charms" that happen in the hotel. We just had a second one, we arrive in the evening from a walk, open the door, and the mats are floating in the bathroom, as the toilet has flowed. The administrator said that Sergei had left, it would take a long time and expensive to return him, but it is difficult to tolerate with a child in such cases, Sergei was returned, he repaired, of course everything in the bathroom was black and brown, dirt cannot be described in words. To which the admin Irina said that she didn't care, she wouldn't clean it up. Wait for the morning when the cleaners come. I went to the store and bought a rag, washed everything. In the morning, of course, no one came.
Swimming pool.
Of course, no one cleans it according to the tradition of the hotel, it is also around the clock, how it is cleaned is not clear. Periodically, an outsider uncle with children comes there to train them in swimming, the younger one pees into this pool without hesitation, teaches swimming, and that it is impossible not to pee into the pool.
Rotavirus is understandable, everyone around the room has been ill. Thank God we didn't, because we didn't swim in the dirty sea, and when it cleared, we have a rule not to talk in the sea, going ashore, rinse our mouth with bottled water. So it worked out.
Cleaning.
She's not here. Only if you ask at the reception. And so the young cleaning staff just goes with a beer to an empty room and drinks sweetly there.

Taxi.
It's cheap, but you can wait for an hour.
Additional services: daily there is no light from 5 am to 7:00, sometimes there is no light due to weather conditions, periodically there is no water.
After drinking water at the cooler, the employees put the cup back in the cell with clean ones.
Sukhum embankment is like a separate civilized country, the staff in the restaurants is friendly, everything is clean and pleasant.
Result:
I will never set foot in this hotel again, and I do not recommend it to anyone. Of course, there is no smell of 3 stars there.

We were at the hotel in May and September. It was a mistake to come back. It got even worse. The impenetrable laziness of the staff multiplied by absolute indifference to the guests. Celebrating a holiday at the workplace in the reception area so that guests will not be able to sleep until 1.30 am is considered the norm. Well, the cherry on the cake is a crumbling sealed hole in the wall in the junior suite. For all my loyalty and unwillingness to look for disadvantages, there is a failure. A very, very good hotel and vacation!!! Thank you all so much for your attention and care! The kitchen is simply gorgeous, the buffet was varied and completely satisfied the tastes of my whole family!!! The sea is not far away - You can walk yourself if you are too lazy to go, they will take you by bus. Inside the hotel there was a swimming pool in which children were happy to splash, with all this, right at the hotel you could go on an excursion with your neighbors in the hotel and admire the local sights together, but who didn't care about the local attractions - they could happily go to the local market, which is a 5-minute walk from the hotel and buy fresh fruit wine lavash local cooking and enjoy spending time under the air conditioning in the room. By the way, not immediately, but in the process of communicating with my friends, I realized that the hotel offers a diverse approach to the food scheme... that is, you can only take breakfasts, or breakfasts and lunches if you consider it a good idea that you should have dinner on vacation together in some local restaurant.

The hotel is probably not bad, but the fact that it is in poor condition is due to the staff. During the rest, a rat ran around on the territory of the hotel, the food in the dining room is of poor quality, the declared buffet is a big word. The food is tasteless, the territory is poorly cleaned, the animator, whose duties include classes and entertainment for children, is on the phone. The lights are constantly turned off, there was no water from time to time, which brings inconvenience. The playground is in terrible shape. The staff is aggressive when you make comments. The wine in the dining room is terrible!

A complete discrepancy between price and quality!
It is unclear where the hotel previously received high ratings on booking and other services, although if all the staff and their friends use the pool in the hotel, then perhaps they give ratings.
In addition to the friends of the hotel staff, swimming training for children from Sukhumi is already organized in a small pool, and this is in season!
Meals 3 times a day, out of time not even to go for tea (we had no kettle or dishes in our room).
We bought fruit- we went begging for a plate both in the dining room and at the reception, the same story with a knife, the answer is "not allowed".
The first time was cleaned on the 5th day, while we asked for cleaning every day, we "forgot" every time. I saw here, the hotel replied to the girl that they could not not clean her room, so, I confirm, they could still, and they cleaned it only through a scandal, while they did not change the beach towels! In a week! Nirazu!
The worst service, with the price for a room of 2 people plus 2 children per family in August, almost 15t.
Abkhazia failed to take advantage of the closed borders, tourists came here, of course, but it is unlikely to return again!
Of the advantages, only the territory and the air, to which the hotel administration has nothing to do.

Cool pool. With heating and a children's area. Inexpensive. Close to the sea. Transfer to the beach with your own sun beds. The beach is pebbly, not really for me, but in Abkhazia it's like this everywhere. The staff is responsive (for the most part). Inexpensive meals on request. Washing machines. They clean it every day. The animator for children comes 2 times a day for about an hour. Hammocks. It has its own small but very green well-maintained territory. Excursions from the hotel (not excursions, but a transfer, rather, no one conducts an excursion, but some people need it, I personally prefer a guide))). Overall, I liked it.

Nice hotel!!! Inside there is a straight oasis of trees for seating. The pool is open around the clock, which is unusual and very cool!!! The food is simple, but it's enough. The rooms are great, the location is also good.
Of the cons: there is no shower gel and shampoo in the room, but you just need to know and take it with you. The pros clearly outweigh the cons!!!

We returned from this wonderful paradise only yesterday and are drawn there again. The service, comfort and living conditions were at the highest level. I would like to thank Omar separately for a wonderful trip to Lake Ritsu and, of course, Gotcha for his wonderful picnic excursions! We recommend it to everyone!!!!!
