September 2024 We had a great vacation at this park hotel! A very cozy place, a beautiful park with gazebos, hammocks, a swimming pool, friendly staff, delicious breakfasts, free transfer to a wonderful clean beach! We had the most comfortable room, I think. It had everything in it. Refrigerator, kettle, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, free Wi-Fi, Smart TV, air conditioning. I'm thrilled! The price-quality ratio is in favor of the hotel!

I liked everything, excursions are provided, Mocha is taken to the beach, there is another beach nearby, everything is within walking distance. The territory is guarded, a good swimming pool, lots of greenery. You can wash it yourself, there are cars, iron it. A quiet, peaceful place. If I manage to go again, I will go there!

Immediately, to understand the whole concept of recreation in Abkhazia, you should not wait for any service. This is not Turkey or the UAE. This is the post-Soviet space.
The hotel itself, considering the above, is not bad. Very beautiful territory, green. Direct access to Bagrata Mountain, the views there are amazing. The room is quite shabby, cleaning is clean on request.
Administrators are quite inactive, but they respond to direct requests and try to help.
The dining room is excellent, very tasty, homely. There is no microwave in the rooms, you have to constantly ask someone to open the dining room if you want to warm something.
The pool is excellent, clean, inspected.
Transfer from the hotel to Mocha beach, but according to September observation, the price tag for sun beds and other things there is more expensive than for MOV, and the latter is closer.
The Gocha transfer driver also organizes excursions at a very reasonable price. You don't have to bother searching, it will still be more profitable for him.
The moral of my review. Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed.

We stayed at this hotel from 1.08 - 09.08
A pretty good hotel, with its own park area, adults will really like it!)
We lived in an old building, the rooms are clean, relatively fresh renovation, but I would like to update the bathroom 😅🫣
The hotel administration is more than loyal, they are ready to go to a meeting and do everything you don't ask, whether it's changing rooms or helping with coordination in Sukhum!)
Minus - WiFi catches only on shared balconies about the territory, it does not pull into the rooms, but on the one hand, each room has a table with chairs, you can calmly sit there enjoying the aromas of the indoor planted park)
You can ask for cleaning at least every day, no one will refuse, once we did not change the linen, we informed the administrator - so he came personally with the maids and they changed everything with us)
Breakfast at the hotel is like at home, I would say 😅 you do not need to count on some kind of super buffet, there have always been : sausages, omelet, porridge, watermelon / melon, cheeses /sausages, tea/coffee, 2 types of cereals, toppings, cottage cheese, another +\- 4-5 positions changed
It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the common beach (the one near the Sunny Beach hotel), it's not super clean, I would say
The hotel has a personal transfer with a driver (an excellent Hot driver) - every morning at 9:30/10:00 I plied for free to Mocha beach, the water is clean there, I picked it up at 13:00, but you can also walk to the hotel in 20 minutes back
Excursions were also organized from Gocha, the prices are more than pleasant , they are taken directly from the hotel and brought to it (it also shows unique non-tourist places ) . I consider this Gocha to be the main diamond of this hotel.
Minus: there is no microwave in the room, you need to go to the dining room to warm the food, it is always open
Plus: there is a Micro fridge, air conditioning , a heated and illuminated swimming pool on the territory, there is a new building right next to it with Euro renovation, the hotel has its own passage to Bagrata Mountain, the old building does not have Mosquitoes at all (some tricky plant is planted for this) I observed a lot of them in the new building
When there were problems with the transfer, they helped to contact and coordinate everything.
You can park your car on the territory of the hotel, the territory is closed!)
From personal tips on visiting places nearby; a very tasty place in a 7-minute walk from Apatsha Abjiuaa, there is a Turkish cafe on the embankment (it directly interrupts the Sukhum embankment in the middle, it is very tasty there, like the name Chegem.
The Nadezhda store is 3 minutes from the hotel, you can pay with a card there, and there is a price tag everywhere, quite sane!)

The room has everything: beds, stove, refrigerator, hairdryer, towels. The breakfasts were very tasty and varied - the chef and the kitchen staff did well! The receptionist Noir is a very nice person: he kept asking how things were going, worried that everything would be fine) I have only positive impressions from my stay in Sukhum and in Mount Bagrata in particular) everything is within walking distance from the hotel: the embankment, cafes, grocery stores, you can walk to the beach or take a transfer to the sandy Mocha beach. Honestly, there is a desire to return)))) Of the minuses, probably, only that the pool is still without heating. But I think that this is not a problem in summer) it is quite large, clean and tidy.

It was the first time in Abkhazia and we ended up at the Tsar Bagrat Mountain Hotel. The hotel is lovely, very convenient location from the beach, everything is close. There is a convenient shuttle service to Mocha Beach. Separately, I would like to note the luxurious territory of the hotel, as if you live in a tropical forest. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, air conditioning, hairdryer, good shower. We will definitely come back again 💙🌊

An excellent hotel, the staff is responsive, they will always help you where to go, what to buy and where to visit. The city beach is not far away, there is a shop and several cafes nearby. The hotel itself has a person with excursions, the breakfasts are just super. There is a swimming pool and a restaurant where everything is cooked from under the knife, you can leave an order and come pick it up in your room.

We were in the summer of ‘23.
The room is shabby, old and creepy, Wi-Fi does not catch in the room, only on the territory. The room is small, even without a closet. The TV is 2.5 channels, but we don't watch it in general.
The breakfasts are delicious, rich, BUT late! At 9 a.m., it's too late to relax with small children!
Transfer to the sea at 10 am and back at 13:00, late and little....and that's not every day. There are paid sun loungers on the beach, the hotel does not have its own beach.
Clean pool with a warm bowl, clean green area!
The child was placed on the 3rd floor, she asked to be relocated, they did not make concessions.
Room cleaning- without complaints, in case of rotavirus disease-linen was changed more often than usual. When the child got sick, they helped with the hospital, took him / brought him, for which thank you very much!
Unfortunately, I'm not ready to come back again, the price / quality does not match.

People should not go to this hotel.! Believe me, all the great reviews are fake. We were in May 2023 and did not experience the pleasure of staying.
minuses:
* The promised heated POOL wasn't even filled.And filled for 4 days, the water was very cold!Our entire vacation was spent building on the territory near the pool and next to the hotel .
* You will not get Wi-Fi, it simply does NOT EXIST (the network shows, but does not ship anything)!
*The rooms resemble hospital wards, there are STREET tiles on the floor, the windows overlook the street (you have to sit with the curtains closed).The TV is 20x20 cm.
* The staff is not friendly, there was a feeling that we were not welcome. Where is the Abkhazian hospitality that they talk about at every step, well, apparently there is definitely no such thing here!
Of the advantages:
* The territory is green, beautiful!(there is a photo).But the counter, the constant noise and the stench of paint did not let us enjoy.
The beach is neglected and very dirty (pebbles)
*The breakfasts are good and varied

We had a rest with my wife from 07/23/2022 to 07/29/2022. The rest was great, the concept of the hotel for this season is only breakfast, the menu is no more, but everything is there: porridge, casseroles, omelette, eggs, sausage fruits. They cook at home, delicious. The territory is small, but very green, with benches, shady places. The hotel staff is very friendly, helpful, always ready to help, even the owner. The room is cleaned on request, leaving the key at the reception, high-quality cleaning, towels, bed linen are all snow-white. For your own needs, there are washing machines and irons for general use. We got room 208, a great room with a huge balcony! The pool is large and warm with sun beds and umbrellas, open 24 hours a day. Transfer to Mocha beach in the morning at 9.00, at 12.00 back. The beach is sandy, but we did not like it, it is very expensive and there are a lot of people, there are no free sun beds, as they write on the hotel's website. We went to the MVO beach, if you don't go to the shops, walk for 5-7 minutes. Of course there are nuances, this is the exit of the rooms to the road, it is very noisy! Well, some places need renovation.

I was at the hotel in early September 2022. A gorgeous courtyard, with a huge amount of greenery, on the territory there are gazebos, hammocks, sun beds, a swimming pool. Also from the hotel you can walk to the fortress of Tsar Bagrat, where there is a small observation deck and a cafe, the time to walk is 10 minutes maximum. A person is given a large and small towel, which are changed every day, cleaning is also done every day. Plus, they give out a beach towel, which is very convenient, they change it every 5 days. The staff is friendly and courteous. The food was also good, personally, everything was enough for me, but if you are used to Turkish buffets, then do not expect this here. Unfortunately, Wi-fi does not catch everywhere, as promised by the administration. Among the wishes: there are not enough trays in the dining room, I would like to have a minimum set of dishes in the room (plate, glass, fork, spoon, knife) and a mosquito net on the window. Overall, I really liked everything, I definitely recommend the hotel)

We stayed at the hotel from July 21 to 27, 2023. We lived on the ground floor in room 103. The room is spacious with 1 double bed and two single beds, air conditioning. There is no kettle and dishes. It wasn't really necessary. Yes, the Windows overlook the street, but it is not so noisy, and I even found a plus for myself-cars were woken up at sea! Silence at night. And it's worth leaving the room and you're already in the botanical garden! Lots of greenery, paths, an arch of trees, hammocks. The staff puts a lot of effort and love into their hotel! It's noticeable. The pool is clean, sun beds. I love the sea, but somehow I was late for the transfer to the sea and stayed on the territory, saved the pool! Transfer to Mocha beach at 10, pick up at 13. But we always walked back. Along the alley, in the shade, under the chirping of cicadas, the path is short 20 minutes. If you don't want to go to Mocha, MVO beach is also not bad within walking distance. Coolers on all floors, water is always available. The hotel only has breakfast. Everything is fresh and delicious! Omelet, cottage cheese, sour cream, pasta and sausages (very edible) porridge, pastries. Tea, coffee (instant), cheeses, sausage, tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs, dry flakes /balls for children, milk.
To change the linen and clean the room, the key must be left at the reception. If you took it with you, then no one will come to your room. If there are any problems, for example, something with plumbing, refrigerator, etc., the staff tries to solve them quickly. Yes, there is a wine cellar. Oh, what a Saperavi there is!
Another employee of the hotel, Gotcha, takes you on excursions, the prices are normal. It's always fun and interesting.

Among the triples, this is a very good hotel. But, I can't put a higher rating. Very poor nutrition, monotonous. Of the fruits, there was only a watermelon ONCE a week. The omelet is already cooked with sausages inside, the pancakes are half-cooked every other time, and so on. Instant coffee only. Vegetables - cucumber and tomato. Once we did the cleaning, once more on request. But, towels and bed linen have never been changed in a week. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Washing machines and irons are freely available. There is a delivery to the beach and back, but in order to have time, you need to come 10 minutes before the appointed time.

We had a family vacation (two adults, two children) in July 2022. I liked everything! The territory of the hotel is surrounded by greenery, a real mini botanical garden. The room is spacious, cleaned daily. There is a small clean swimming pool on site.The breakfasts are excellent (porridges, cheesecakes, casseroles, omelets, cheeses, sausages, sausages, fruits) The staff is polite and responsive to requests. Among the advantages: a beautiful garden on the territory, just above the path (10-15 minutes walk) the ruins of the ancient Bagrat castle, it was very interesting to visit. The breakfasts are full and varied. They cook delicious.
What I didn't like: the staff doesn't really respond to requests. The room cleaning is mediocre. The rooms were obviously tired, specifically in our room there was no closet, things were stored in suitcases and bags. There was nowhere to eat normally nearby, I had to go to the center. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the beach. But every morning they took a minibus from the hotel to a well-equipped beach.

We lived here for two weeks and concluded that of the advantages here:
- the territory of the hotel. Inside there is something like an arboretum area with various trees and flowers. Everything is beautiful in the combination of the purest air;
- there is a swimming pool on the territory, 15 meters, with a shallow depth of up to 1.70 m., and a children's bowl. The pool is clean and comfortable;
- the breakfast buffet is not particularly varied, but delicious and nutritious;
- there is an Internet connection, but it works only in the halls of the hotel.
Of the cons:
- the rooms in the hotel are more like hospital rooms with white walls and outdoor floor tiles. The showers and toilet are generally clean, but small. The Windows overlook the street, directly onto the roadway, so it is constantly noisy and dusty. The air conditioner helped out;
- the attitude of the staff was different, but in general they made it clear that we were there as uninvited guests. Abkhazian hospitality is not for this hotel.
- the night cafe was open from evening to morning, after all over the hotel, you could find empty bottles of alcohol and drunken guests sleeping in different places. The picture is not pleasant. Also, the music and noise of such companies made it difficult to fall asleep.
In general, a highly stretched "two", since the price per day corresponds to a solid "three" in Russian or Turkish hotels. Weak!

I would really like the dining room to be moved to the air under a canopy. By the way, about the dining room... We went to full board. Be prepared that the buffet is not the same as in Turkey. The choice of dishes is small, but everything is delicious.
A local driver takes you to the beach in the morning, and takes you back at 12-12.30.
In my opinion, this is very inconvenient, since the beach is not at all close, and after lunch you can't get there on foot (only by minibus), and there is no transfer. The beach itself is sandy, just before entering the water and about 1.5 meters from the shore there are small pebbles. The entrance is flat. There are sun loungers on the beach.
As a result: for this price, I think this is a decent option.
The hotel has 2 washing machines, which are designed for vacationers.
Thanks to the hotel staff, it was great and sincere.

Great location.
A closed area with a wonderful green park (almost a botanical garden), gazebos, hammocks and paths.
The pool is clean, for children and adults, open around the clock.
It's a 10-minute walk to the beach, but we preferred to relax together on Mocha beach, every day Gocha took all the sufferers there /back. I really liked the excursions.
WiFi does not penetrate everywhere because of the thick walls, on the terraces it is normal.
They feed (they immediately paid for breakfasts, lunches, dinners) - quite, special thanks for the attention to the child, they organized an almost individual menu.
On the terraces there are coolers, hot/cold water, air conditioning in the rooms, TVs (we watched only sports channels).
There are 2 washing machines on the ground floor.
In general, for Black Sea hotels - 5 out of 5 points.
We will come again next year.

The first thing that caught my eye was the dirty floor. I had to walk around the room in shoes. Due to the high humidity, the bed was also damp. The sheet had not been changed, there was hair on it.
Two shampoos and 2 gels were put on three guests. There is no shelf or towel hook in the shower. The electricity was turned off several times at night, then turned on. Because of this, the TV turned on at night, I had to get up and turn it off. The refrigerator could not stand this fan and stopped working . Accordingly, the products were missing.
One of the advantages is a good water pressure in the shower, Wi-Fi and a beautiful territory.

We had a rest with a child from 01.08 a week. We liked everything, just delighted with the hotel. The bed and towels were changed, the room was cleaned a couple of times, but they came up and asked if cleaning was needed or not. Breakfasts are insanely delicious, everything is homemade, porridge, sliced, eggs, fruits, casseroles, pies. The area is all green, calm and quiet. The pool seemed to work around the clock, even in the rain we swam. We drove to the beach there and back, you can drive yourself, two sun beds and an umbrella 550p. You can also walk to the nearest beach, there is also a dining room nearby, where most of our people went. The famous Gotcha took us on the tour, special thanks to him, a man with a big soul, after the hot springs he treated us to wine and watermelon. Take excursions from him as a tip. The staff, all good-natured, no rudeness, everyone will answer and prompt. Even the janitor greeted us in the morning with a smile, looking for a tennis ball every time. I want to say a lot, but in general, I haven't had such a rest for a long time, it's very nice, prosperity to you guys.

A wonderful park - the territory of the hotel is surrounded by greenery. gazebos, hammocks, poufs and paths.
The clean pool is multi-level. Where the entrance is on the steps there is shallow, from the middle of the pool deeper on the right side and in the middle there is a pool for the youngest. There are also Jacuzzi and steps on the sides, where you can sit under a water massage. The pool is open around the clock, which is simply gorgeous, in the evening there is a beautiful backlight. After 23 hours, the main thing is not to scream.
A Gotcha driver takes you to Mocha Beach at 9 and 9-30, and picks you up from the beach at 12 and 12-30, who needs to get to the hotel early or later by minibus for 20 rubles.
Wi-fi at the reception and outside to the pool, on the terraces (it does not catch in the rooms) - so everyone gathered in the evening. We got to know and communicate with the neighbors.
There are coolers on the terraces, hot/cold water, 2 washing machines on the 1st floor. the rooms have air conditioning, TVs ( we hardly watched)
Our room was on the 1st floor. There are only 3 floors. The room was cleaned every other day.
Meals 3 times a day - buffet. Everything was very tasty and varied for us. There was never a time when someone lacked something. It also wasn't like all the seats were occupied. Everything was enough for everyone.
Thanks! We rested here from August 3 to August 12. We're leaving tomorrow. The impressions are only positive. Thank you for the rest from the Shepilov family. The rest is wonderful.
We will be happy to return to the Tsar Bagrat Mountain Hotel.

In June 2021, she visited Abkhazia for the first time. The hotel Mount Bagrata was chosen thanks to friends who went there with their children for the second time. And they were delighted. There were a lot of us - 6 adults and 6 children. We agreed in advance, bought tickets and booked rooms half a year in advance. It came out only 45 thousand rubles per person for 18 days. Three meals a day are included. I really liked the green area, the birdsong in the morning, the clean pool in the courtyard and the friendly staff. The rooms are simple but clean. There was a smell from the sewer in the shower a couple of times, but the staff immediately eliminated it. The dining room has a buffet system. It is convenient, especially with children. The kitchen is homemade. We even had dumplings for dinner a couple of times) Of course, this is not Turkey 5*, but the animators were there too. And the beach is a bit far, 20-30 minutes on foot, but a free minibus with cheerful drivers goes straight from the hotel in the morning, brings it back to lunch. The territory is really beautiful, surrounded by greenery, and that's where all the advantages ended.The hotel needs to be restored, a good Mocha beach is far away.A minibus takes you to the beach in the morning, but not in the evening, but we come to the sea, and of course once a day a transfer to the sea is not enough.And now on nutrition, if you declare a buffet in the contract, then it should correspond to this.It is not possible to call a buffet, since there is practically no choice of food, there is no fruit (watermelon and apples every day), there are no sweets at all, although there are a lot of children in hotels, they give buns for dinner and that's it.In general, everything is very sad about nutrition.We talked a lot with tourists who have been coming to this hotel for several years, and all with one voice say that they will not come here anymore, they say that everything was much better before.

For lunch, broth and some soup, two types of side dishes, two types of meat dishes or fish and several vegetable salads, for dinner also except soup. There are several types of jam and condensed milk for tea, buns with raisins and powdered sugar are also served at the evening table.The fruits have always been apples and oranges.Everything was very tasty , we had enough of everything and we were never hungry.The bus from the hotel takes you to the beach only in the morning, 3-4 minutes away. The beach itself is very spacious, sandy, the sea is clean, the entrance is pebbly. Sun beds are provided by the hotel . There are very few people on the beach, there is no crowding, which made us very happy. There is also a city beach within walking distance. We had a good rest , went on excursions with Gocha and Daura , visited many beautiful places . In the evenings we walked along the embankment, which is located not far from the hotel.

My husband and I vacationed in Abkhazia from 30.05 to 06.8.2021.
We chose the hotel Mount Bagrata. There are very few reviews of this hotel, so I decided to write such a detailed review.
The hotel has a very beautiful territory! Two gazebos, two hammocks, lots of benches, good paths, lots of plants. Its own nice pool, which was heated. There is a separate building of the dining room, where the food was delicious. Yes, there wasn't much variety of food, but it's not a five-star hotel either. We only had breakfast, so I can say what happened in the morning: chocolate balls, cereals, milk, butter, bread (one/two types), eggs, two types of porridge, sausages, sour cream, two types of cheese, sausage every other day; alternated: pancakes, pancakes, omelet, scrambled eggs; coffee, 3in1 coffee, tea (black and green), several types of jam, sugar, as well as drinking water and juice/compote.
There is a water cooler on the floors.
Within walking distance of the mini market, the MVO beach and the embankment.
By number. We got a room on the second floor. A double bed, a single bed, a long table, a TV, a refrigerator, a large wardrobe, many hangers, a full-length mirror, a small balcony overlooking the road and the mountains. The shared balcony overlooks the hotel grounds.
The bathroom has a shower, hairdryer, liquid hand soap, mirror and toilet. There is one large towel, one small and one colored beach towel for each person. Towels were changed, I think, every day. The bed linen is boiling white, changed every three days. Slippers and bathrobes are not provided at this hotel. They give us small tubes with shampoo and shower gel, but we didn't use them, we had our own.
A transfer takes you to the sea at 9:00 and 9:30, and takes you back at 12:00 and 12:30. But if you stayed at the sea longer, you can easily take a minibus and get almost to the hotel in 20 rubles. The beach is equipped, the sun beds were free for us. The beach is sandy, the sea is clean.
Now I'll tell you about where we ate, because we only had breakfast. The cafe is right in front of our hotel. Its prices are below average, but it's REALLY delicious! And we had lunch and dinner there.
I would like to say separately about the staff of this hotel. These are WONDERFUL and HELPFUL people who will do everything to make your vacation unforgettable. Special thanks to the transfer driver, Gocha not only takes you to the beach, but also takes you on excursions without unnecessary honey / wine tastings, and in fact to where you need to go, he also covers a picnic in nature at the end of the tour, thereby creating a magnificent atmosphere.

For the working class, for such money.... the food is excellent, although there is not much variety, BUT THE FOOD IS HOMEMADE👍I did not understand the negative feedback... the rooms are large, the sea is nearby, the car is there to help you! I've never seen anyone spoiled here, There are plenty of greenery around, NOT ARTIFICIAL TURKISH LANDSCAPING!!! In general, I advise you to visit this place!!!

For the first time in Abkhazia (except for the Soviet years). It took a long time to choose where to go instead of Turkey last year, which did not take place. I tried very hard to look positively, but there are fewer and fewer positive emotions every day of my stay. In order:
- Meals: I don't know about other hotels, but the option of offers is super-budget (although the price tag is far from small). Breakfast is two porridges - oatmeal on water and some kind of thin, cottage cheese, sour cream, honey, cereals, eggs in some form. Sausage and sausages, ordinary cheese and sausage cheese are among the cheapest. At lunch, chicken broth and some kind of soup (normal). But for hot meals at lunch and dinner, there is a complete ambush - for 5 days, 1 time just chicken, there were pieces of meat, but more often meatballs and cutlets. Despite the fact that a lot of children do not have boiled meat at all! Apples and peaches are cut into small pieces so that they are not taken out.
- Staff: The maids work from 9 a.m., it's a whole problem to change the linen and towels - until you leave a request at the reception, they don't do anything, and not the first time.
- The Windows with the balcony overlook the street - the street is not big, but there are a lot of cars and even with cheerful and loud music.
- The nature is wonderful, but everything is so abandoned and neglected. There is only one road from the hotel for walking - to the center, it takes about 20-25 minutes to walk. The road is not beautiful, not interesting, dirty curb and sidewalk. There are no trash cans on the street.
- The beach to which they carry: the canopies do not protect well from the sun, to rinse off - there is a type of "shower" - just a pipe.
Yesterday morning there was no light, today there is no water in the room!
The worst nightmare is that the rotovirus mows down families in the hotel, at least for a day with all the consequences. All complaints to the management and the senior in the dining room have one answer: in August, rotovirus is always on the whole coast!
The only goal is to return home healthy.

I had a family vacation here in 2021. I put 4 stars: there is something to work on in the rooms according to the service: the TV is either without a remote control, or it is rippling, some kind of tension with sheets and double beds. In the dining room, the food is delicious, the wine is homemade. There is a courtyard with various trees and plants. The pool is good on site. The playground, which is listed on the sites, is broken up. But in general I liked it.
