It's a great place. We were here on a sightseeing tour. The climb on the teleferika was scary and breathtaking, but very beautiful and interesting. We saw a mountain goat, as the guide said - fortunately. There is a nice restaurant with delicious dishes on the top of the mountain. For the very extreme, there is a swing over the cliff, I did not take the risk. The mountain offers pleasant views of other mountains and the city. For an additional fee, you can look through the installed binoculars.

Takhtaly Mountain is one of the coolest places in the vicinity of Kemer! Climbing the Olympos Teleferik funicular is already an adventure: the trailers glide smoothly over the gorges, and the views of the sea and mountains are simply breathtaking!
The top (2,365 m) is fresh even in the heat – it's worth grabbing a windbreaker. When a cloud passed through us, it felt like I was in a fairy tale – everything was shrouded in fog, and it became truly mysterious!
The restaurant at the top is slightly higher than usual, but it's definitely worth staying for a cup of coffee with this view.
Tip: It's better to go in clear weather – the visibility is amazing, and you can even see the shores of Antalya!
Bottom line: A must-visit if you are vacationing in Kemer! The delight and power of nature – it's worth getting up for! 🌄🚡

We went on a jeep tour in August of the 24th year. We recommend it, it's 100 times more interesting than a funicular! We stayed in interesting and beautiful places, swam in mountain rivers. Everything is very cool, I really liked it!

The main local attraction. It is said that this particular mountain was the prototype of Mount Olympus in ancient Greece. The peak itself is about 2,600 m in total. We drove to the cable car in a rented car and paid about $100 for a lift for five people. It was much cheaper than an organized tour. At the top there is an observation deck with a great view, a cafe with a great view and unreasonably high prices (a cup of coffee from $ 5, a hot dog for $ 20), the same souvenir shop. We spent about an hour there, worthy of a visit. You don't have to take warm clothes, because if you're cold, you go inside.

It is very interesting to climb the mountain on foot from the village of Tekirova: it took us about 12 hours, we went down by funicular. You can spend the night with a tent: there are good places. There were no problems with water in May. On the way to the mountain, you can run into the dogs of local shepherds. If you're too lazy to walk, you can take the funicular there and back. In good weather, the mountain offers a great view of the surrounding area and the sea.

A mountain in Turkey near Kemer, height 2,365 meters, covered with snow in winter, you can climb by cable car or on foot from Tekirova, from Bejik, we climbed on foot from Bejik through camping, the climb is rapid, it takes about 4 hours to reach the top, nature is fascinating, the forest is fabulous with huge trees, the paths are trodden and they are marked with ribbons, it is difficult to get lost, comfortable shoes, water is mandatory, there is a building at the top that has a cafe, toilet, communication,you can take a break, you can go back down the trail or by cable car, the cost is 30 euros in winter

We walked with the children to the top for 4 hours from the Lycian trail.
The path is indicated by arrows on rocks and trees.Along the way, we photographed breathtaking views and built a pyramid of stones as a souvenir.
The road is not easy, but if the shoes are right, then everything will be OK. It was August and it was very hot. You need to take plenty of water and sun protection, hats and clothes that cover the maximum of the body. Upstairs, we rested in a cafe, ate, treated ourselves to ice cream, cleaned our feathers, refueled with water. We admired the coast from the observation deck, marveled at the paragliders. Those who arrived at the top by funicular were amazed at us. we stomped down for 3.5 hours.
Next time we'll take the funicular for a change. Or maybe we'll go up the same way, but in a less hot season.

But the spaces are incredible. To see something, you need to take binoculars. Paid landlines do not work. Very beautiful. The highest point in Kemer (2365m). Definitely worth a visit. The ascent is smooth, there is enough time to explore the surroundings, very beautiful nature and stunning sea views. We saw mountain goats almost at the top. A miracle!) Above, the landscapes are Martian, there were clouds, unfortunately, hid the view. For fans of extreme sports, you can perform skydiving or "shoot" with a slingshot ($ 50). There is a cafe. Be sure to dress warmly.

It was the first time I visited this peak, it was visible from our hotel. A good option for an excursion, we went from a hotel guide, we were a family with two children. Children will be interested, if not very young. It's interesting to ride the lift, 12-13 minutes. The speed is 25 km/h. you drive and see how the vegetation changes zonally, you can observe mountain goats. We've seen them. It was cool at the top, it was 23 degrees, while it was 35 C. on the coast. So it's worth taking warmer things, you need to look at the weather forecast necessarily when you plan a trip, otherwise you can get into the clouds and you won't see anything. There is a cafe at the top, there is an opportunity to take pictures, binoculars (you need lira, coins), you can jump and do a somersault over the abyss on a huge slingshot (50 USD), or go down on a paragliding (unfortunately it did not work). I advise you!

Pros: an amazing place, worth seeing.
We were on 09.10.2024, took a tour from Giza (just a transfer-funicular-transfer) it cost $50. It is ideal if you are in your own car. I do not recommend cycling, the climbs are very steep. It was +30 downstairs, +16 upstairs, and they took a sweater with them. The prices in the cafe are high, but you can take water and food with you. The funicular is beautiful, with a little adrenaline. This mountain has a personal website, there are two cameras online, one at the bottom, the second on the mountain. Clouds and temperature can be monitored.

"Above the sky" and these are not just words.
You can come by yourself, not in the ranks of the tour. To meet the sunset, you need to arrive before five in the evening in order to catch up with the rise in ticket prices.
The ascent and descent are a separate attraction. In some moments, the effect of free fall is felt. In order not to put pressure on the membranes from a sharp change in height, you need to swallow saliva (drink water) or yawn.
Don't forget those things. It is windy and very cool at the top.

The place is certainly stupid! It's a pity that we didn't have time to "grab" the view of Kemer and the sea, everything was covered with clouds. Funiculars are a terrible thing for me! Going up in the daytime is still normal, but going down....we went to watch the sunset, went down in the dark, through the clouds, as into the abyss, even on the racks the cabin bounced, brrrr, left the cabin in the clouds))))
We had a delicious snack at a restaurant at altitude, took pictures at sunset, the wind was cool enough after sunset, I wanted to put on a jacket, and it was the middle of August. Mountain goats walking on the rocks)) Despite the wind and the terrible descent for me, Takhtaly Mountain was definitely worth a visit!! My husband and daughter are thrilled)

Climbing on foot to Takhtaly is an amazing experience, it cannot be compared with anything. Climbing equipment is not required anywhere - either and or, but how difficult it is, how long and hard.
We ascended in May 2024 - it was absolutely amazing. A real adventure. The way up took 4 hours from the village. They have already gone down on the funicular. On the way, you can drink orange juice at the cafe. Wonderful nature and views along the way. Completely Martian landscapes begin from the saddle.

The descents are made by the escape company. I recommend. Security, in my opinion, is at a good level. Please note that only the instructor does the photo shoot and video in flight, and it costs extra money to pick up the flash drive / write it off to the phone already at the bottom. We were lucky with the weather, the sun is on top, then the clouds, and there are no clouds over the sea anymore. There are many different experiences.
It should be noted that the ascent of 2,350 meters takes about an hour, while the funicular rises from 700 to 2350 in less than 15 minutes.

The lift impressed with its load capacity. They said that it can withstand 53 people, the weight is 6 tons. It was a little scary to get up. In vain. Everything is calm and good. The air conditioner is working. So in the heat of more than 40 degrees outside, it was good in the office, despite the huge number of people. A surprise awaits in the places where the supports pass, as on an attraction)))
The view from the mountain is beautiful! The sea smoothly turns into the sky. There is a cafe on the top, a souvenir shop, a swing shifter (with elastic bands), a paraglider.
