This is a place for conquerors of small peaks. There are 2 roads to the mountain. One is paved for most people, about 2.5 km, with an acceptable climb, in the second part of the way with a lot of monkeys. The other one, which goes immediately to the left, has a steep road, 1.6km, but you will remember them:) for those who like to overcome difficulties. We chose the 2nd route and didn't regret it. Take a stick with you or look for it as you climb, because monkeys can be aggressive, especially when there are a lot of them. Upstairs, the views are not particularly attractive, and there are no viewing platforms, everything is half-abandoned. This place is just for walking and contact with primates (they took away our water bottle).
We visited this place, the impressions were very unpleasant. The monkeys behaved very aggressively, especially those who were at the end of the way, there were a lot of them, whole flocks, they took out a bottle of water to drink, the monkey noticed this, immediately decided to take the bottle away, the husband could barely hold on, so it didn't stop there, the monkey nevertheless decided to take "his own", attacked, she began to hiss and scratched her leg, then somehow managed to fight back, we left there, further along the way, we didn't get anything anymore, one monkey just liked our black backpack, she jumped on our shoulders, when trying to throw it off, she also scratched her shoulder. It was already very scary to go further, it's good that they found a stick (if they had known, they would have taken it from the very beginning, but unfortunately, no one warns about it, because they are so aggressive that even if you don't show any signs of attention to them and just walk, they can still attack) but even with a stick, some monkeys made attempts to attack. I advise you to think a thousand times before going there.
I don't advise anyone who doesn't like monkeys to come here, but I adore them. It's very hard lifting, but it's not a hindrance for me. You can contact monkeys, and they even sat on my feet. These are real wild thieves, for example, they are very fond of water and often try to steal it. Not everyone will like this place, but for me it is one of the best memories in Phuket.
