My husband and I went up on our own from the Fanat Hotel. We took a taxi from our hotel. There was a man sitting at the gate, we told him that tourists were going to Maly Chimgan. There were no problems. Along the way, I met plums, wild cherry plums, which I tore and ate at every opportunity. A one-day hike. When we started walking, we met the same tourists along the way. Girls, then very young boys with a coach. And they said you will get up and "get high", the main thing is to go with a positive attitude)))). We laughed heartily. We went up, and they all went down happy with smiles. But very carefully, in some places a lot, sand stones, stable shoes and not in a hurry for beginners. But I still fell on the way back, not much. But I was happy. Suitable for children.
Great view, great hike, amazing experience! For the first time I was on a hike of medium difficulty in winter. The snow is as tall as me in places. The main thing here is to lose money with the guide. You need to go physically prepared. But the landscape is worth it!
Gorgeous view and nature, I would still come back here. The entrance to the water is muddy, it's hard to swim. It takes a very long time to get here, 2 hours from Tashkent, but it's worth it. It was a surprise that the taxi drivers calmly took us in two cars. But with the return back to the city, it is better to decide in advance.
I advise everyone to climb to this peak.
There is a beautiful view of the Charvak reservoir.

Entering the route at the gate at the Fanat complex under construction. Not where the parking and checkpoint are, but below, the next entrance. The traverse ascent to the Pesochny pass, from there up to the top there is a clear path. The route is not difficult, only the last 100 meters of loose stones and stones are at the top. Passed with children 6 and 9 years old (they are not the first time) for 5 hours, back and forth. It is better to go in tracks or other similar shoes. There's nothing to do there in the rain, fog and slippery rocks.
Great views, the weather was not very 7 degrees and the wind was strong. There was no trail after the summit of Maly Chimgan, I had to crawl 30 meters along a steep cliff.
Wildlife, snowy peaks and scorching sun (get out early and don't forget a hat, sunscreen, comfortable shoes and drinking water!) Be sure to swim in the student mountain waterfall... and be careful, snakes may come across.
