Block A(ROUND)it gives more advantages and rights than living in block B. There is no imported alcohol)))) I was on the 7th floor))) this is not imported alcohol, they are locally bottled from imported. But the alcohol is high - quality . Cocktails, oddly enough, are better prepared in block B (both in the lobby and by the pool), I only went there to skip a cocktail. Although I tipped in the round block at first, but this did not improve the situation with the preparation of drinks. If you are going to block A, you don't have to take cosmetics with you: shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion from a cool company. In the room of block A there are besides cosmetics: slippers, bathrobes, hair dryer, capsule coffee maker , minibar , water. The rooms are damaged by time, but still cozy. Cleaning every day with a change of everything and replenishments of cosmetics, coffee and other things, but for tips, without tips I do not know how it will be (1-2 euros). The water in the shower is still 15 minutes after it is turned on! The tile is cracked!!! And it was the 2nd room after a request to move from a room with a balcony to a ventilation system with the most gorgeous noise accompaniment!!! We were moved to the trail. a day in the room without noise charms but with problematic plumbing! I talked to the neighbors (everyone has the same problem), They provided bathrobes only after our request... And both are 42 sizes, as if they were mocked!!! And about the bartenders at the central pool and building A, you can make up legends about the deaf and blind. Crazy people pretending to be deaf! We are vacationing at the Gold Island Hotel (August 2022) with my husband and daughter of 8 years old. It's our first time here, considering the prices this summer, we can't afford Belek. We didn't have any special expectations, which is probably why we liked it so much. Our room is in building A with a sea view. For the first 2 days, there was a disco in the bar opposite until 1:20, very loud. They were ready to change our room, but fortunately it stopped. The hotel staff is very friendly and positive, always trying to help. We are not coming to gain kg, but for the sake of the beautiful warm sea, so I will not write about the food, it is good. And the free Starbucks nicely complements the picture. I really liked that the hotel has 3 beaches and 2 of them are in the bay. The sea is calm, the entrance is smooth, the sand is great for children. Sun beds can be found on the beach at any time. There are slides next to each building. A separate respect for the location of the gym, overlooking the sea. It is also interesting that right on the coastline there are separate rooms for those who like to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Alanya is 20 km away, take a taxi for $ 25, but after searching you can find it cheaper by 2 times. We went shopping to the Alanium center and just see the surroundings.

The staff knows German and Turkish perfectly well, but they have no desire for Russian and English.
The Mondo case is absolutely not self-contained. For all questions, the reception in this block is sent to the main building. It's not clear why we have to go back and forth. Absolute disorganization in this regard. It was especially unpleasant to carry suitcases, while the Germans were being carried on buggies.
There is NO animation in the hotel at all. The only entertainment is a drunken Kurd.
Animator Andrey absolutely does not know how to organize people and the entertainment of himself is always in the first place. For example, he plays volleyball himself, and if someone does not have enough space, he does not leave the game, but simply says that the playground is crowded. In addition, volleyball lasts 30 minutes, because the animator decides on his own that it's time to finish and disperses everyone, although people don't mind playing more. If several teams are playing, then as soon as the team where the animator is playing does not play, he stops following the game and doing something. By the way, apart from the half-hour volleyball, there are no sports games in the hotel. Probably their slogan is: "Have fun as you want"
There is nothing to do in the evening at the hotel. There's a pool table and a broken cue, nothing else.
Films are shown in German and cartoons in Russian. But there are no normal adult films in Russian. Animation, an attempt to make a "show" and so on - all in German. And these attempts were only 2 times in 2 weeks. At the same time, one of them is paid bingo.
There is also a disco in the evening, but there are always 3 cripples and the music is turned on only for a pack of cigarettes or an electronic cigarette. There is also an off-site disco, but it costs € 15 per person, almost like a passage to a Moscow club. There are also 3 cripples.
The staff absolutely does not meet halfway, so, for example, for karaoke, which should take an hour, they do not let you sing an extra song, even though karaoke lasts 30-40 minutes, because they pour a lot of water in an incomprehensible language.
Now the Power Supply. If you want to eat only cutlets, then feel free to go to this hotel. All 2 weeks that we were here, we ate only cutlets, while not the most delicious. In addition to the cutlets, there is also a turkey, but it runs in a circle and is not the most delicious.
By the way, the food in Building B is much worse and less abundant than in the main building. The salads are always the same, all have parsley (which is not at all suitable for non-lovers of parsley), as well as mostly salads made of mayonnaise and pasta.
The side dishes are all tasteless, distorted. There is no question of any al-dent.
Sweets are not of the best quality, instead of baklava they give some kind of bread in honey.
No seafood except fish! Although other hotels have tables full of them.
Another interesting point is the large number of olives and olives for breakfast only. Lunch and dinner for some reason, according to the hotel, do not need them. Although it seems that they are most needed for dinner.
The alcohol is diluted and tasteless, as such there are no bartenders. Cocktails are made, then by waiters, then by people from the reception. In this regard, the cocktail is a real fortune, either you can drink it, or without syrup and you want to spit it out.
Room cleaning is very so-so. There is some hair around the sink (which was never removed until the very county), the floor is stained and streaked. Towels, if you're lucky, can be given in the hole.
In my opinion, the hotel offers a lot of unnecessary services, for example, cleaning every day (you can do it every 2 or 3 days at least), waiters in the buffet dining room who do not bring food, but only bring drinks. Some unnecessary things, instead of which you could really pay attention to important points, such as animation, a varied diet, not just cutlets, staff training.
The hotel has a starbucks, but coffee is the level of drinks from the vending machine. You can drink the same thing without queuing in the dining room, but without a "stylish" glass.
We were really looking forward to the hammam and sauna when we were driving. The sauna is good, and the Hammam worked very rarely. In addition, all this "happiness" is located in the paid services area. It's a long way from the pool to it, so every time you have to go through the reception of the spa center and fend off intrusive sellers of massages and other additional services.
By the way, the way to the indoor pool and spa center lies along the dining room and right next to the tables where people eat. That is, half-naked, sweaty, wet people walk around during meals and it's not even through the glass. There is also a hairdresser near the tables, then you put a cutlet in your mouth and before your eyes the sight of someone cutting their hair. Not the most pleasant appetite.
Another nuance is the attitude of the staff towards the guests. A separate story is gozleme. There is always a queue, but for some reason, when it comes to making this bun for someone from the staff, the order of people is not important at all. They cook huge tortillas without waiting in line (2 times more gozleme for guests) and put 3 times more fillings. The woman who cooks does not care at all that you are waiting, that you may be in a hurry. She starts cooking for someone from the staff, also ostentatiously adding heaps of cheese (or any other filling). At the same time, my next tortilla is always barely filled with cheese, in fact, almost empty bread.
And some bartenders quietly take out bottles or pass them to guests. In general, bartenders are a separate topic. I have never seen such "extortion" anywhere. The constant feeling of the train station, because everyone is begging, begging for tips. It's all out in the open, very direct. It is very unpleasant, since we came on vacation, and not to fend off the "begging bartenders" and the constant imposition of additional services (in the spa and photos), the staff does it very obsessively, as in the market near the hotel. Tips should be carried everywhere, otherwise you will be treated like garbage. I recommend getting a waterproof wallet.
I had a rest for the May holidays. The second time at the hotel. I really like the hotel. Such a warm welcome, respect for the staff, and a desire to always help. There are three beaches, two of them are isolated, i.e. they do not border other hotels. Every time I look with a shudder at the beach of the neighboring Lonicera hotel, there is nowhere to fall. The hotel has two blocks: the main one (the ball) and the Mondo (in the distant past it was a separate hotel). There are also bungalows (the coastline between the two blocks), but they are separated from the sea by large boulders, otherwise they would be flooded). There is a good mini club for children from 4 years old and a new fitness club. The audience is decent: couples and families with children, but there are also young people. If you enjoy a dynamic holiday, loud music and good animation, then this hotel is not suitable for you.

I chose a hotel based on reviews and.... I was unpleasantly surprised.
For some reason, visitors on the first day in Turkey are always given very bad numbers. I was given 263 in block B - Mondo. Terrible number. It is of course large, there are already 2 storage cabinets, but all the plumbing is tired, the balcony is covered with a lattice, a view of the parking lot where the bus rattled that evening. The bed linen was clean, but there was sand on the sheet! It's scary to go to the toilet at all. The next day I changed the number. I was given one of those that my relatives had previously refused – they changed the numbers three times. But when I stopped by, everything was cleaned up, other minor flaws (for example, the light in the bathroom not turning off, the shower barely working) could be closed. In total, it is undesirable to stop in the Mondo block. I asked other guests – the same problems.
Especially pissed off the hotel employee who escorts to the room. He literally doesn't leave until you tip him. He typically provides a service for connecting the phone to wi-fi, but this can be done at any time at the reception or independently without problems.
In fact, the only presentable building is Block A, but the cost of rooms there is extremely high. But the hotel as a whole does not pull 5 stars, rather 4, no more.
As for nutrition, everything is fine with this, there is a choice, you will not stay hungry, but there is still more variety in Block A. The number of people is the same there and there. The waiters in the restaurant are efficient, bring drinks to order. There are also several restaurants and bars. You can eat something all day long.
Every evening there are some performances, concerts. There is animation, but it is monotonous, like everywhere else.
The hotel is located on a peninsula, in the farthest corner. The shops are the furthest to go. There are lc Waikiki, pharmacies and many other shops. You can take a bus to Alanya or Manavgat and walk there on your own. 3-4 km from the aqua Park hotel.
The hotel has 3 beaches. One near the Mondo block to swim there is not very. The shore is stone, there are few sunbeds, wi-fi does not catch. Next is the biggest beach on the side of the stage – they mostly swam on it and the beach near lonicera hotels – there are always a lot of people there, like herrings in a barrel. They didn't go there at all. The big beach is dirty, there is garbage, they clean only very close to the hotel, where there is enough garbage far away and the cleaner does not get there, although no one except hotel guests can rest there.
The territory of the hotel is very large, you can even take a walk. It is very important for me to have a fitness room, it was here, but some simulators are broken. There is a tennis court, but for some reason rackets should be taken at the reception.
In general, the hotel left a double impression. On the one hand, great food, interesting performances in the evenings, a large territory, and on the other hand, everything is worn out or broken, needs repair, rooms are given as everywhere else – at first the worst, and if you argue, they will change, but it won't be much better there.

The food after 6 days really seems monotonous, but everything is quite tasty and the choice is large, especially in August there are a lot of fruits. The territory is decent.
The sea is a plus, of course, people mostly came to the beach by 10-11 o'clock, so they did not feel a shortage of sunbeds.
Probably we would not go to this place anymore, but it is quite possible to advise families with children.
We had a vacation with children in early June 2022.I liked the hotel, everything is clean. The food is good: meat, fish, mussels.There are always sun beds. The beach is great, the approach is smooth and the water is clean! We would like to come there again.
We stayed at this hotel from July 4 to July 12, 2022.
About everything in order. I put 3 stars on the hotel, it definitely does not reach the stated 5 ultra.
Let's start with the pros of course:
The hotel has a very large and, most importantly, green territory. The main building is round, it looks like a stadium, it is illuminated in the evening and at night, it is very beautiful. there are 2 buildings for living and separate bungalows, in one of which we lived.The bungalows are located along the coastline of the sea, so the view is beautiful. You come out of it and after 20 meters there is already the sea. There is also not so much traffic, since most of the guests are located in buildings A and B, so there is always silence, a feeling as if you live on a sparsely inhabited island.
Rooms. The rooms are new, spacious, very clean, cleaning was carried out every day, there is nothing to complain about.
Beach. The hotel has 3 beaches, so there are no problems with sun loungers and a large number of people. One beach is located in a bay and there are no waves, it is very convenient if you are with children, the second beach is for wave lovers and the third beach is very large and shared with a couple of hotels, in general, everyone will find a comfortable time at sea.
On the territory of the hotel. There are 4 pools, one of which is 16+, children are not allowed to swim there and therefore there is always silence. And 2 communal swimming pools. And one indoor pool. There are also 6 water slides. There were no problems with sun beds, you could always find a free one. There is a gym, also with sea views and a lawn tennis court (included in the price).
Bar. There are many bars on site. One of which is in the main building working around the clock. You can also drink star bucks coffee every day from 12-17, which is also included in the price.
Now let's move on to the cons:
Food. After reading the reviews, I was very surprised, because there was absolutely no variety in the food. We ate the same thing every day. On the last day of rest, we didn't even have breakfast. There was no seafood at all (I compare it with the four we were in a year ago, everything was much simpler there, but the food was very tasty and varied). The only thing was that snack bars were open during the day and you could eat burgers, pizza, or a sandwich with salmon or chicken. In general, I put a bold minus here .
Animation. Every day from 21:00-22:00 there is a children's disco. Everything is great with this, the children are happy and happy. Then the evening show begins. Boring. Every day it's some kind of acrobats, dancing and performances. There was no interaction with the guests, no contests that Russians love so much, nothing like that. They played their show and broke up. Therefore, you will not be able to have fun at this hotel.
Relationship. In general, the attitude of the staff is normal. But this year, for some reason, Germans are given great preference, there are a lot of them, there are practically no Russians, probably we met 10 people during our entire vacation. It is not the first time in Turkey, there is no such warm welcome as usually happens in Turkey to Russians, they did not feel it.
Wi-Fi. When you check into the room, you are automatically connected to Wi-Fi. It is free and catches very well throughout the hotel. But. When checking out of the room, as usual at 12:00, it turns off automatically, although we left the hotel late in the evening, no one opened it to us until the evening, it was very unpleasant.
The hotel itself is located on a peninsula, so if you want to go somewhere by yourself, it takes 15-20 minutes to get to the bus stop, and uphill, it's a little hard in the heat. I will not return to this hotel anymore.
