I want to write about the worst and scariest hospital. On February 5, my father was taken to the GOKB of Medical rehabilitation in Grodno. He was brought from Shchuchinsk district hospital, where he lay for a week with covid. But the saturation began to deteriorate, and he was transferred to Grodno. From the very first days, doctors, in particular, Olga Vladimirovna, his attending physician, told us that everything was not very bad for him. The temperature does not rise, saturation without cannula 92-94, he goes to the toilet himself. Although he is a disabled person of group 1, after a stroke. The right side doesn't work, but he could take care of himself. For two weeks in the hospital, we were assured every day that the saturation was 92-94, that there was no fever, that the tests were not bad (the doctor said this when we called). And on the morning of February 26, after the usual call about the state of health, the doctor on duty said that everything was not as rosy as the situation was described to us. It was not ambiguously said that your father is leaving (dying) and everything is bad. With a fight and a receipt for our full responsibility, we were able to pick up my father from the hospital. What we saw horrified us. An unshaven, unwashed, terribly thin old man begging for help. There is rotten food in the mouth, a three-centimeter plaque on the tongue that we cannot remove for the second day, no one has ever helped to clean the teeth, the nasal passage is clogged with purulent secretions. The saturation was below 88, the temperature was 37.7. As I believe, it was a consequence of the entire bacterial process that was going on in the oral cavity, and as a result, loose stools, which the doctor still told us about the doctor. That's how our dad was "treated". We don't know what was going on there. But judging by his father's condition, there was no treatment or care for him. They lied to us on the phone that everything was fine. And the man was just dying at that time. Today we buried our dad. For three weeks we fought for his life. But they couldn't do anything. The doctors and staff of this hospital, by their inaction and indifference, drove Dad to death. I really hope that people, after reading our review, will bypass this hospital. This is a very scary place and soulless, indifferent medical staff. Take care of your loved ones.
