I saw how our room was only swept, although there is a vacuum cleaner, the toilet was washed only from above, the sink mixer was black and remained in white spots, there was a lot of hair and garbage from old residents. Then we were relocated, and there we lived with a dog, all its fur remained on the carpet and then stuck to our feet. But this is all fixable if the owner takes note and there will be control. And so I liked everything.

We had a vacation in Gloria in August 2024. The hotel is located in the village of Liza. It is a suburb of Pitsunda. Famous beaches. There are no complaints about the beach. Perfect. Pine trees on the shore, small pebbles and clear water. The beach is a 7-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel has two buildings. New brick and old wooden building. Standard rooms are beds, and instead of a full-fledged bed there can be a folding chair or an ottoman. Bathroom in the rooms. The room in the wooden building has a split system, TV, wardrobe. No refrigerator, no table, no kettle. There's not even a chair. Refrigerators are shared on the open veranda of the first floor. There are two snow-white towels for each vacationer. The bed linen is also snow-white, of good quality. But the room itself is cramped, decorated with wood, feeling cramped and dark.
The rooms in the new brick building are already more modern. It is no longer a standard, but a superior. Although I honestly don't know what it is. The room has a large bed, complemented by the same armchair and ottoman. Since we did not pay for a double room with an additional one. in some places, but a full-fledged four-seater, they were outraged. We were given a mattress for an ottoman. The room is clean, there is carpet on the floor, a bathroom with good plumbing, a powerful hair dryer is available. The room has a wardrobe, a TV, a split system and a table attached to the floor. You can't move it. There is a balcony. On the balcony there is a table and two armchairs, a dryer. The bed linen and towels are snow-white, of good quality. There is no refrigerator or kettle.
Hotel accommodation includes breakfast. They are organized in the form of a small buffet. Monotonous and sparse. But you won't stay hungry. There have always been two types of porridge with milk, sausages, omelette, eggs, charlotte, sometimes cheesecakes or casserole. There are few dishes for such a meal, we had to wait for clean plates and mugs. But overall, the hotel is not bad. I recommend. Minor flaws did not spoil the rest. The staff is friendly and tidy. The hosts are hospitable and positive.

We are very happy with our stay at the hotel! Of the obvious advantages - convenient location (close to the sea and shops), its own cafe with delicious and varied breakfasts (if desired, you can also have lunch and dinner there), comfortable beds, cleanliness both on site and in the rooms, a modernly equipped and beautifully decorated bathroom, well-functioning air conditioning, availability the balcony and the opportunity to dry things on it.
There was indeed no refrigerator in the room, but with a shared refrigerator downstairs and delicious food in the cafe, there was no need for it. But foreign smells of food are excluded in the room.

We lived in September 2024 in a wooden building, then I moved to a concrete VIP building for three days.
1. A wooden case is a very bad idea because of the audibility. The air conditioning units are installed so that there is a roar in the room (behind a wooden wall). We, two girls on the third (last) floor, were very unlucky with our neighbors, a group of elderly people. They got up at 5, went to the sea at 5:30, slamming doors 100 times and yelling at us on the stairs "ARE YOU COMING? ", "DID YOU TAKE EVERYTHING?". When I asked what kind of behavior this was, they told me, "Well, we can't sleep until 11 like you." At the same time, at 7 something, they already returned and woke us up a second time, although we were both wearing earplugs. This is HELL, not a vacation.
Breakfast from 8 to 10 - buffet (cheesecakes, pancakes, fritters, toppings, omelette, eggs, vinaigrette, tomatoes, cucumbers, sausages. Yes, there are shoals, then there are no appliances, then there is no food, but if you wait, then everything was brought again. Only the pita bread was covered in mold (
2. Concrete VIP building.

The rooms are very cool, BUT there are problems with the sewerage and my toilet stank so much that I was sick. At my request to sort it out, they explained to me that the problem is global, it will be solved thoroughly at the end of September. They promised to fix everything - as a result, the woman cleaned the drain and sprinkled it with industrial flavor. After a couple of hours, the stench returned, it could be heard at the entrance to the room. I left the lights on and the ventilation accordingly, but it didn't change anything. Three days of disgust. Why didn't you move out? I didn't want to worry myself, I paid 15k for three nights and answered the questions - "is it better?", "no", then silence and no offers awaited me.
The audibility in the VIP building is also very good, there is no noise insulation. TV, hugging and swearing can be heard perfectly, but less than in a wooden one. The air conditioner is not audible.
There are no refrigerators in the rooms. Those that are common are an abomination, overgrown with mud and ice.
The behavior of the staff is also very unpleasant. As in Russia, Asian immigrants do menial work here. A couple was very infuriating - a girl in a hijab, a headscarf and an Asian man in black, they were constantly making out and lying barefoot on shared sofas in the hallway. The rest of the local staff gathers at the kitchen, smoking, swearing, listening to music and making noise. It 's annoying . At the same time, there are many flaws in the hotel, the carpet is not attached in places, the wallpaper is peeled off, the shower is loose, the grout and tiles are dirty, etc. At the same time, people complain about shoals walking among themselves, and the staff hangs out all day long. In general, Gloria is a good place, but check about the SEWER and think about audibility. This assessment is due to a stinky point in my vacation that I was not warned about when paying.

3-bed superior room in a new brick building
1) The description of the superior room indicates a balcony – keep in mind that this is just a door and you immediately run into the railing. As such, you will not have a balcony space where you can sit – this probably only applies to 3-person _superior_. Other rooms had full balconies;
2) There is no chair in the superior room;
3) In our superior room, almost 50% of the time there are terrible smells in the whole room.
- the smell from the bathroom is most likely from the shower drain, but we still haven't figured it out.
- the smell of dampness, which is very similar to the pungent smell of urine, from the air conditioner.
I repeat, 50% of the time these smells are there. Both at night and during the day.
+ here we add terrible sound insulation of the walls – the neighbor made a move and you hear it at night as in your room. And about the other sounds – you understand yourself.
4) Dogs without a leash and muzzle:
- there is a dog living on the territory that barks at night, protecting its territory. Once she ran threateningly after our child, but we managed to pick him up. After a couple of days, you realize that you need a dog – it does not allow a herd of cows to enter the territory, which walk near the hotel in the early morning.
- there are 2 more dogs between Gloria and Amshin Hotel – one of them is a healthy shepherd. Because of her, we were afraid to let the child go to the playground of the Amshin hotel. Although others let go. But I think it's a dangerous predator. And if it cost others 100 times, then one tragedy will be enough for me to regret it.
5) The fact that loud music is playing in the restaurant – this has already been written about and we read in the reviews before the trip. According to the rules of the hotel, you can make noise until 23:00. But there were 2 nights with us when the restaurant's visitors stayed too long and the staff admitted that loud music was playing after 23:00. The staff also likes to listen to music loudly.
6) In general, the staff is a separate topic. It seems that almost all (except John Ivanovich and 2 guys from the canteen) male employees feel like the owners of the hotel.
One Asian man can walk under your balcony at 06:00 and spit loudly.
Others calmly smoke and swear at home in the common area with guests – this is where they play backgammon near the tables for eating at the entrance to the restaurant. Imagine you and your children are sitting, having lunch, and 8 meters away a couple of guys / men-employees are smoking, laughing and swearing obscenities. It's nice to have an appetite, so to speak.
Don't get me wrong, we don't mind if the staff smokes and plays backgammon. But we are guests, clients. We came to relax, have fun, relax. We pay a lot of money for this – and by the way, the cost of rooms is quite high. I pay for comfort, not to hear the neighing and swearing of workers, to inhale cigarette smoke.
Let the employees have a recreation area separate from the guests. It's not difficult to provide.
There are no badges – at least give them to the waiters.
7) And here we come to the restaurant – it's terrible.
- Breakfast – someone, I saw, made a video of this disaster. It's just that atas – a crowd of adults – respected hotel guests – stands at the entrance to the restaurant, because either the food or the dishes are out.
The breakfast period is stated from 08:00 to 10:00. To make it to breakfast before you've eaten everything, you instinctively arrive at 08:00. But! It happens that this careless staff does not have time, and the food appears only at 08:30.
Can you imagine that? You've come on vacation and you're wasting time waiting for food or a clean plate.
And don't forget – only 2 sausages and 2 cheesecakes per person! And if I came after 09:00, then I won't lie, I didn't come, but I think there won't be any food.
- Lunch and dinner, which are not included in the room rate. We tried to have lunch at this restaurant. Dishes can be over–salted, over-peppered, meat undercooked - and no one has ever said "sorry" when we made a claim. In response, the look is bold or indifferent.
We recommend lunch and dinner at the Sunflower restaurant - it is very close, 3 minutes towards the bus stop and the Kopeyka store.
8) there is no refrigerator and kettle in the room – this is not one of the disadvantages – because it is indicated in the description of the rooms, you know about it in advance. But still, I would like to have refrigerators in the rooms for that kind of money.
9) payment for accommodation at the reception by card is not possible. This is understandable, they save on acquiring. But when you are offered to transfer 50 or 150 thousand rubles to the hotel director's savings bank card upon check–in, and the bank takes a percentage of 1000 rubles from you, it is sensitively unpleasant. And, of course, there will be no receipt for payment either.
I repeat about the staff – I have a negative attitude towards almost all males, except John Ivanovich and a couple of well-mannered guys from the restaurant, whose gaze showed that they were really ashamed of the restaurant's joints. The girls are all good, they work like bees. Polite.

The room's furnishings are very modest. Instead of a closet, there are open shelves, a double bed of 140 cm, small consoles instead of bedside tables. There is no chair, no chest of drawers, no refrigerator, no kettle. The bathroom has a toilet, a sink, a cracked mirror in a plastic frame. I didn't like the hotel, the service was a C, I would even put a two. It is necessary to talk all the time, to remind about wet cleaning. It seemed strange to me. Lunch and dinner are waiting for a very long time, immediately if you want to eat after the excursions you will not succeed. The food is not varied. The room for 4 people is small. Waiters are always busy doing the wrong thing, always smoking, on their phones. They also have a habit of being late for work, one waiter barely makes it, you look at the other running sleepy. There are a lot of children, but they hang out on the playground, in the pool of another hotel. The sea is not far away, but there are no attractions either. The hotel is located in a small village of sorts, where cows walk, there are mosquitoes and flies, you will also need to go through a minefield. Abkhazia itself is very beautiful, if you relax, then not in this hotel and not in this place.
I can't say anything about the hotel, we lived in another place. I'll write about the cafe. The main word that describes this institution is indifference. We had to wait for the waiter for 15 minutes, unable to stand it, we took the menu ourselves and called the waiter. The waiter does not have knowledge of the menu (time and availability of the dish, composition). The tables are cleaned very slowly, no one is in a hurry. We had to put the dirty dishes on the next table ourselves. During the meal, I had to be reminded several times about the composition of the order. Waiting time is another problem of this place. Light vegetable salads and drinks were waiting for 20 minutes. During the course of taking out the dishes, due to the too long wait, the waiter offered to replace the dish, we agreed. The hot dishes were waiting for 40 minutes. The taste and appearance are very different from the original recipes, in this situation it is a minus. The bill was brought and there is a deception. Stuffed peppers, which according to the menu should be two in a serving, and brought one, were counted as a full portion (although the waiter said after our remark that they would be half the price). The replacement dish was counted as the original dish. No one is absolutely interested in your presence.
I was in Abkhazia for the first time and for a very long time I chose a place of rest and a hotel. I do not regret my choice! It was good for us to live in Gloria from 30.07. to 08.08.23. Spacious room (superior double room, in a brick building) with a balcony. The building is new and will also be complemented with interior details, but already now, it is quite comfortable to stay in the hotel. 2 towels per person are provided upon check-in. The bathroom is new, there is liquid hand soap, paper. There are wonderful people working in Gloria. We are very grateful to Timur, John, and Elena. Any issue was not ignored and was resolved very quickly. The kitchen in the hotel is above all praise, as previously written in the reviews. For us, this was an essential criterion when choosing a hotel. Thanks to the staff of the Gloria restaurant, especially the waiter Ilya and the girl behind the bar - Boehme! During early trips to the tour and to the airport, they did not refuse a hot breakfast, just not before 7 a.m. If you check out earlier, juice and cookies are offered. The sea is nearby, with a nice clean beach. We took a taxi to the beaches of Captain Black and the Fish Factory, there is sand there)) The center of Pitsunda is 10 minutes away by taxi, it is tedious on foot.

We had a rest in July 2023. The location of the hotel to the sea is a big plus 10 minutes. Near a pine grove and the sea is clean!!! And the rest is a complete disappointment. We arrived at the hotel by 14.00 tired, but we were not checked in at the proper time, explaining that we allowed the previous visitors to stay for 1 hour, since they are with a child. Kindness is a good thing, but the question is:why at the expense of others, but when the eviction was hurried at 12.00, first the maid, then the administrator saying:that people have already arrived", it turns out that not all people.... The room is clean made of wood, but only beds are made of furniture, some small stools, or bedside tables, a wardrobe without doors, one hanger for three people. There is no table, no chairs, no refrigerator, there is only a TV, sleeping. In the bathroom, the wooden door closes with great effort, you really need to try🙄 There's a hole in the bathroom by the toilet, you can see the street, I had to cover it with a rag so that the creeping bastard wouldn't crawl in. The necessary accessories are available in the shower. The staff of the girl maids are polite, but I do not know what position: a woman at the computer, this is of course trash. Having seen something on the monitor, apparently the negative review was "loudly expressed in obscenities at the visitor x", maybe the hotel owner did not explain to her that this is not the way to behave, and not only adults but also children are resting.... There is also no ironing board, but there is a large one common table (maids also iron on it, you need to understand how much linen they have), But there is a whole list of penalties for visitors fines for everything:the loss of a towel, and other things, the breakdown of furniture (I wonder what) 🤔there's basically nothing to break, because we didn't punch a hole in the wall.. For 5000.00, of course, it is not worth taking.
We had a vacation in Gloria this summer in early July! To say that we liked it is not to say anything! MANY THANKS to all the staff of the hotel! Everything was great! The rooms are cozy and clean, cleaning every 3 days! Excellent administrators, they will solve any issue: taxis, transfers, excursions, and just everyday problems! The kitchen is a separate conversation!!! We were not fed so tasty anywhere! Fresh, delicious, the portions are very large! The territory is small, but it is enough. In terms of a swimming pool, but there is a small hotel nearby with a swimming pool and a playground, our children played and swam there without any problems!You can also tell a lot about the beach! It is located nearby, walking for 5 minutes, well, maybe a little longer. Past the kiosks we go out into a pine grove, which turns into the seashore. If you want, lie in the shade, if you want, go out into the sun! All people are friendly and polite! Wi-fi is available if needed. Fruits, sea, sun! Just a thrill!

We were in Gloria in June 2023. It's a three-hour drive from the airport to the hotel, it's exhausting. Thank you for the fact that Mercedes minibuses are comfortable, which brightened up the long journey. Of course, there is no territory near the hotel, there is a construction site everywhere.
Now about the hotel: Gloria has two types of buildings - wooden and brick. We lived in a wooden one, on the second floor. The audibility is excellent. At night, in addition to her husband, a neighbor snored nearby.
The rooms are nice, clean, there is a TV, air conditioning. There are refrigerators on the ground floor, no kettles, no table, no chairs, no dishes. In general, it is not advisable to eat in the room. The bathroom is not bad either. However, one disadvantage is that they are cleaned in three days. But during the cleaning they change the bed and towels.
The sea is nearby, pebbles, there is a sandy beach 1.5 km away from us, but we did not reach it, we were not bad here either.
The staff is friendly and friendly. There is a restaurant, the prices are acceptable.

At the reception I was met by very pleasant and friendly men, unfortunately at the reception I do not remember my name, the second brazier Temur, the hotel room is gorgeous, large room, comfortable bed, good balcony. Everything is fresh in the room.
Now about the cons.
The restaurant is barely breathing, it is clear that there is a shortage of staff and savings on the restaurant. Dear participants, why buy expensive dispensers and leave them empty. It makes sense to do such a cool renovation in a restaurant if you forgot to fill it with soul (staff).
One poor waiter is running around in a sweat and physically cannot keep track of all the orders in the hall. There is no administrator in the hall. All through the stump deck. I'm sure there's something going on in the kitchen, too. Dear owners, understand that the kitchen is the soul of the whole hotel. You really don't need much investment to bring it to mind. Find the manager . Which will make adequate production and catering of the entire hotel. Because of this situation, I had to go to a nearby hotel and restaurant to eat. And this is a minus of your profit. Everything was served barely warm for breakfast. The breakfast system is not clear to me at all. Somehow you have to sit and calculate how much you ordered, and if a family of 3 or more people, you need to turn on the calculator. Only the omelette and pancakes were delicious . The rest is simply not comparable to the kind of hall in which all this was served. You have a huge potential, I believe that you will succeed. In the meantime, 3 stars

We had a rest in Gloria in the period 15.07-22.07.23. Accommodation was in a new building. We arrived ahead of check-in time, but the room was consolidated and the administrators Elena and John immediately checked us in. Thank them for that) The room was on the third floor, the room is spacious, everything is new, air conditioning. We liked it. The view is beautiful on the mountains. To be honest, there were not enough chairs and a little refrigerator. To be honest, I didn't notice that they were cleaning, but it didn't bother us. We've only been here a week, and I do a lot of cleaning at home once a week. The hotel staff is wonderful, sincere! We booked a tour at the hotel. So on the day of the tour, the child fell ill, and although we said this 40 minutes before they were supposed to come for us, John called and the tour was postponed without any commission. Nutrition: everything is very tasty. Upon arrival, we ate next to each other in a Sunflower, since the electricity was turned off in Gloria and lunch was not ready, and then several more times we had lunch / dinner in other cafes. We liked Gloria the most. Delicious and varied. Although my husband ate only khinkali, he liked them so much here!) We really liked it here, we will definitely return in the summer of 2024!
The price in August 2023 is 7000,00 per day for a 3-bed room, the hotel territory is not well maintained, there is a construction site around, the room is clean and new, large, linen is clean, the bed is comfortable, there are 1 2-bedroom and 1 single bed in the room, no chairs, no mini fridge, a decanter and 2 glasses, repair the bathroom is beautiful, but the water drains badly, you wash and constantly monitor so as not to flood the room, the closet has no doors, there is no tulle, so that no one sees you from the yard, you need to keep the curtains closed, not far from the beach, min 10. Breakfast was included in the price, a la carte selection, up to 300 rubles per person, waiters serve very slowly, the tables are dirty, they are in no hurry to clean up. The overall impression of the hotel is that we will not go any more.

I really liked the attitude of all the staff, especially I want to mention Susanna, Fatima, Nastya, Camilla and Tamaz. The guys are trying very hard, the territory is clean, there is still little greenery, as it is a fairly young place, but everything is done with a soul. Very tasty food, I liked absolutely everything!
In the room: air conditioning, satellite TV, shower (there were no interruptions with water), the light was sometimes turned off in the rain, but this is not a minus of the guest house. Wi-Fi in the room is not always stable, it flies on the territory itself.
I really liked the evening Mafia game, when all the guests and staff are playing, it's a whole performance😁👍🏼🍷
The only negative for us is the hard mattresses with springs and the room is damp on the 1st floor. Again, humidity in Abkhazia has not been canceled, but there is no such dampness on the second floor.
