For some reason, there are no queues at other checkpoints in neighboring countries and the crossing procedure takes 10 minutes, while the staff are friendly, responsive and polite.

To be honest, two stars is too much. But it's all about comparison. We visited Uzbekistan via Karakalpakstan. There is a lot of one star there. It was probably lucky here that there were practically no cars on 03.10.2023. But the naked eye can see the indifference towards people on the part of customs and border control officers. Artificial queues at registration, delays during inspection, imposing and careless attitude towards people. It should be a shame for such an attitude.
