An excellent choice for a trip of more than a couple of days, taking into account the prices. The location is gorgeous, the outskirts of Ginza, but a very quiet and well-maintained area. The nearest metro station is about 7 minutes away. Nearby is Seven Eleven, where you can always buy very tasty (and, to choose from, healthy) ready-made food inexpensively. There you can also warm up food in the microwave, whip up smoothies, it helps not to depend on restaurants and cafes. The hotel restaurant took breakfast a couple of times (Japanese or Western to choose from) - very tasty, but a little expensive (2400 yen), but breakfast only until 10.00, and we often woke up later due to the time difference. You can talk endlessly about what is nearby, let's move on to the hotel itself. The hotel is old, it was once chic, and now retains traces of its former chic. The service is excellent, unobtrusive. Towels, bed linen and bathrobes (thin, washed, one size, but very cute) are changed every day. We are very attentive to any requests and wishes. Now about the cons. It looks like the whole hotel is for smokers, and the ventilation is not very well designed. The windows don't open. I smoke myself, but I had two non-smokers with me who were attentive to my problems. We inserted a special block into the door so that there was always a crack for additional ventilation, it helped. I understand that this problem is a long-standing one, it is not very easy to solve it, therefore the prices are low. People who are too sensitive to air quality should choose another hotel. Overall, we are very satisfied! We went to Tokyo and the surrounding area to Fuji for 12 days, saw a lot and did not go broke! (P.S. booked half a year in advance)
Apart from the view , there are no advantages .
There were no vacancies, they gave a room for smokers, how can you smoke in a room that does not have fresh air???!everything with this smell, everything is old, for $ 50-100 I would keep silent, but for $ 300-400!for 4 nights for this nightmare, we gave about 100,000 rubles, it's just terrible, the staff does not speak English, they do not want to solve your problems, there is no laundry, if you want to wash, solve this issue yourself, it's difficult in Japan with hotels.
