It's a very interesting place. A nice spa in the basement. Clean rooms and a good breakfast. The hotel is located directly in the fortress. It's a great place. If you do not book at the booking, do it through the official website, you do not need to link a card there

The hotel is right in the fortress.One of Saakashvili's latest projects.A fully restored fortress, originally built in the 12th century by the Jakeli family, and named Akhaltsikhe (new fortress).For several centuries, the fortress was captured, either by the troops of Tamerlane, or by the Mongol Khan Yakub.The Ottoman Empire captured the fortress in 1578 and named it "Rabat", and since then this name has been preserved, despite the fact that in 1828 it was liberated by Russian and Georgian troops! Today it is one of the most popular tourist spots in Georgia!
