We were with friends in Turin from November 13 to November 16, 2024.
We are fascinated by the city thanks to the wonderful guide Almira.
Almira showed us the most beautiful places and sights of Turin. I had an interesting tour of the Cinema Museum in the Mole Antonelianna Tower. Together we went up to the observation deck of the tower. Almira told us which places in Turin are worth visiting on your own, where to have a delicious meal.

Italy is beautiful! But without a person who knows the local traditions, sights and where to go to eat delicious food - it's just a beautiful place where, without knowing the nuances, you will constantly overpay. Everything is much more comfortable and pleasant with a guide, for the same money you will get an excellent excursion program, visit cozy local eateries that are not loaded with tourists, and generally have a very good time!! I know by myself, I used to be proud too, all by myself. Well, I was not impressed by traveling - just stress!! And then I met Almira by chance, and the next trip was amazing!! Wherever you go, contact local licensed guides or translators, believe me, you will save not only money, but also change your attitude to travel, everything is the same, but the feelings are completely different!!

I highly recommend Almira as a guide to Turin and the surrounding area! My small group and I visited wonderful places and heard a lot of interesting and unusual things! In 2016, it seemed that the trip to Turin would be a one-time trip and would be limited only to a trip to the famous artifact, the Shroud of Turin under the guidance of Almira. But fate brought a pleasant surprise.... Piedmont became my favorite region, where I began to return regularly. Almira became a friend and guide through a very beautiful region, unique places inaccessible to "group" tourists. I am really looking forward to the opening of the borders to return....

Almira is not just a guide. Almira is a guide to Italy. She knows the star chefs (and the star chefs know her!), the owners of hotels, bars, wine and chocolate producers, and even dogs who are trained for truffles;). If you want to get to know Turin and Piedmont for real, then I strongly recommend it!
