The museum itself is beautiful, there are a lot of interesting things. What is not unimportant is that the information is presented in a simple and accessible form. The only thing is that not everything is stated in Russian. It's hard for a foreigner. And the minus, of course, is the staff. There is a whiff of the "Soviet Union", they do not allow you to walk around the halls in a free mode (only under the strict supervision of an accompanying employee of the museum). If, for example, I want to return to some exhibit and read and/or view it again, it will be problematic to do so - the lights in the room have already been turned off, the door is closed, entry is limited. Another huge problem is the prohibition of photography. Let's say you can't take pictures of the exhibits (although it's also not clear why), but the background information is also limited. I think this is wrong.

Modestly, a small room of 2 halls. Both geology and paleontology are all in one place. Impressed, of course, the skeleton of a fossil elephant👍 It was very convenient to find a whole stand dedicated exclusively to minerals extracted in Armenia.
Unfortunately, many minerals do not have signed places of their finds, especially large ones that are not under glass.
An amazing collection of foreign minerals in a small hall.
I recommend going to all lovers of minerals

Замечательный музей, внимательный и интересный экскурсовод. И ребенку и взрослым очень понравилось! Большая коллекция минералов, скелет древнего слона. Даже золото смогли посмотреть в микроскоп!

Небольшой, но очень уютный музей, хорошая выставка посвящена вулканам. K некоторым картам трудно подойти, но это из-за недостатка помещения. Помимо археологии, представлена также небольшая палеонтологическая экспозиция. Есть также изделия из камня. Видно, что не хватает финансирования, модели местности советских времён хороши, но с помощью 3D-принтера можно было бы в современных условиях сделать качественнее

2.5 зала, с разнообразными породами, кристаллами и камнями, распространённые отделочные породы можно потрогать, драгоценные/полудрагоценные камни в отдельном зале с отличной подсветкой, а также разные окаменелости и огромный скелет мамонта. Даже без экскурсовода очень интересно рассматривать коллекцию!

In general, the museum is interesting if you like geology. I would like a little more interactive and information about specific breeds. But the breeds themselves are beautiful, the steppe mammoth is beautiful!

Чудесный уютный музей. Работает Пн-пт. Очень понравился экскурсовод, грамотная, хорошо поставленная речь. Ребёнок 4,5лет , как завораженная, слушала объяснения. Спасибо за экскурсию!

Большая коллекция минералов, здорово что они все распределены в зависимости от хим состава.
Если вы принимаете предложения к улучшению, мне очень не хватило какого-то отдельного зала с туфом. Красивейший отделочный минерал, являющийся визитной карточкой страны. Очень хотелось бы какой-то отдельный уголок с разными видами туфа и картой где какой добывают и историей туфа в Армении.
И ещё, если можно, добавьте подсветку в витринах в зале с полудрагами/драгами.
Спасибо огромное за музей!
