Special thanks for the visiting commissions in the vicinity of the districts! This has helped pensioners, the disabled and low-income families a lot!!
Yes, most importantly, the hellish torments of live queues have ended! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR NONRESIDENTS, ESPECIALLY DURING THE COLDEST PERIOD OR THE HOTTEST!!STILL WITH THE CHILDREN.

When I went to the polls, the organization left much to be desired — a huge number of people who stretched in line for a kilometer and a half, and for two small rooms. As a result, people stood for five or six hours, and some did not have time.
After that (and reading the comments), there was only a negative impression, and when I was going to issue a passport, I was preparing for the worst — queues, harmful, boorish employees, huge bureaucracy.
After visiting this place for the second time, mostly positive impressions remained: the queue is electronic, so there is no pandemonium (although this electronic queue contributes to the appearance of an entry only after a month or two, but it is possible that it was like this before), polite staff (I was surprised that the guard talks very pleasantly. It is usually difficult to have a normal conversation with them), quite fast processing of all documents within 10-15 minutes (well, if you came with normally filled ones).
And a little bit about the cons: it seems that the recording is for a specific time, but in the end it still turns out on a first-come, first-served basis, since for the 10 minutes stated in the recording, poor employees do not have time to accept and register one person, (but in general, the wait was not so long, twenty minutes-half an hour), and It is also possible to pay only with a bank card (!) and with a 3% commission (!!!), we could already take terminals from other banks, and not just Halyk.
In general, the impressions are still pleasant, especially many thanks to Victoria Borakhvostova, a very pleasant person to communicate with, I felt as comfortable as possible with her.
I was at the embassy today, some employees don't want to help and don't even listen. They're rude. Although I went with a small child in such heat and thought they would somehow solve our problem, which they themselves created. Or at least they will advise us what to do. But the answers were different, one said to wait half a year, the other a year, and the third said they could respond to the request within three days if the request came. I'm telling you they've already sent you a request, please respond to it in time. Since my husband stayed in Russia, and I am here with a small child. They don't answer my e-mail, they don't take my phone, you hardly wait 2 weeks to sign up, and as a result, such terrible treatment. And when I wanted a specific answer, a guy came and started saying I'm going to call security now. Your time is up, leave the room. When I went out, I forgot the bag with the child's things, I wanted to come back and take it, they wouldn't let me, and she screams. And when I said you don't have the right to treat me like that, he said go complain (this guy is probably new, since they used to be more understanding). Although they are sitting there to help their citizens. But alas, they do not want to help, I got a passport for the child through them, and they stamped the birth certificate. I went to Russia, but the child is not in the database. And I've been running back and forth for 6 months with a small child. But no one wants to solve the problem. I'm just wondering, what's my fault?! I did everything according to the law, as they said. As a result, someone made a mistake, but no one wants to decide.
They quickly signed up for the issuance of a foreign passport: despite the 2-month queue on the site, an entry was offered in the same week.
A surprisingly polite employee who issues international passports. This, perhaps, is the end of the advantages.
Cons:
- a tiny consular department, which is why they are forced to wait on the street (and those who came much in advance, apparently, are generally behind the fence);
- they require documents that are not provided for by the administrative regulations, in particular, copies of passports;
- payment of the state duty is accepted not only at an inflated rate (the tariffs indicate the cost of the service of $ 80 or 40,000 tenge, that is, 500 tenge per dollar at an average market rate of 450), but also with a commission of 2.89%. There are no details for payment without commission. Cash payment is not accepted. Payment in dollars is not accepted. I wonder what kind of kickbacks those who have signed an acquiring contract with Halyk bank receive.
Everything is as usual. But! Upon receipt of the passport, it was found that the photo on the passport was faded and the outlines were barely visible. Is it really impossible to take a clearer picture with modern passport photography capabilities??? In general, disappointment is on the spot and it is unknown what problems there will be when crossing the border. I put a BOLD MINUS to the consul when photographing and issuing subsequent people for the execution of the document.
I would like to say thank you for making on-site registration in Shymkent, it saves time and finances so much.Electronic recording has become simplified, everything is very clear and accessible, not to compare with what it was before.Thank you for listening to your citizens and going to meet them
That's right, we came from all over Russia to Almaty and let's break into this consulate. Now people are outraged why I can't get in for so long. It is necessary to stay at home and not hide in other countries. The electronic queue was recorded for a year ahead ..... And you can get through very easily, you just need to open your eyes wider. And read all the information on the site , not just 12 digits . Everything is clearly written there . Call on certain days from 15.00 to 17.30 . At this time, the phone is always picked up, always answered, and everything is always explained clearly. If you ask the question correctly !!!! I've seen all these waiting lists... Oh, I forgot to print it out, can I carry it up. Oh, I didn't finish reading, I didn't see, oh, but I couldn't get through and didn't know .... because of people like you, there's a queue accumulating for three hours near the window, they can't hand over 4 unhappy sheets, they run around 10 times and rewrite the application.
I am amazed by the positive reviews about the consulate! Who writes them? What kind of electronic record, what kind of service in one day? The electronic record DOES NOT WORK!!! Visit the site at least twice a day, at least three times! In a live queue, they accept on a residual basis, only those who have a passport, a RVP or a residence permit coming to an end! They accept documents only two days a week, but a big lunch and an additional day off on Wednesday. We've worked hard!!! Score - disperse them all!
People!! Just got out of there. Payment of half the fee is only by CARD, PHYSICAL!! KUAR and cash are not accepted, although the website indicates that only cash. Misinformation.
I did a certificate for the absence of citizenship of the Russian Federation, they said it would be done for up to three months.. it's just a tin, and what to do all this time???
Inside there is everything you need to fill out an application (you must print it out in advance)
Everything is very sad! The consulate is not focused on helping people and is not focused on people at all. Although the consulate is maintained on the taxes of these people, the employees receive a salary. A huge building, and people in queues (first behind the fence, then in front of the doors) are standing on the street. Very disgusting and disrespectful. It is almost impossible to get through and get some information. The information on the site is not always up-to-date and reliable. In the age of high technology and progress, we do not have the opportunity to sign up online, so as not to stand for 3-4 hours in a "live" (sometimes "half-dead") queue in the cold… I don't know if the consulate staff reads reviews anywhere. Judging by the reviews, nothing has changed for several years. I hope that one day they will read the reviews and decide to change something in their work. Let's hope so 🤞
As a result: we got what we wanted (we submitted documents for marriage registration), but in a state as if we were chewed by this bureaucratic machine, spat out and chewed again ... you feel not like a person, but the one who is without a piece of paper… We spent kilograms of nerve cells, caught a cold in the cold, grabbed negativity, joy from an important moment in life -100.
Thank You Very Much To Elvira Rinatovna!!!There are only advantages:I came to Almaty from Shymkent to submit a resettlement program, although it is written on the website that strictly at the specified time, I was late (the car broke down), but I was accepted, thanks to the responsiveness, attentiveness and professionalism of Elvira Rinatovna, I managed to hand over the documents despite her working hours, waited until I went to the PSC, prepared the necessary certificates...I passed all the certificates...today we received a letter with positive results, the whole family is very happy, now we are participants in the state program...thank you very much Elvira Rinatovna!!!
[P.s] who reads the review, who eats from afar, pay attention to the dates of all certificates and be sure to complete the package of documents!!!
This is just another, stupid Russian government body. I've been waiting in line there for 3 weeks already!!!
In a foreign country, the wait is 3 weeks, but it's possible to stay here without registration for only a month. And I've been waiting in line at my native embassy for three weeks. And this is not the end, I'm sure they will easily beat three weeks)). Well, I probably won't surprise anyone, and so I've been waiting in line at the consulate in Almaty for a month and a half. To disperse all these idlers. For example, an acquaintance got to the American consulate the next day, to the German consulate two days later. And only in Russian you have to wait for months.
Continued: more than 3 months have passed. It is still impossible to register at the embassy. It is also impossible to get through. When you get through, they tell you to sign up through the website. A disgrace, not a consulate
February 20 : flowers, photos.
February 21 : The police are already finding out who committed this terrible crime — grief. And, of course, you need to remove all this, otherwise your eyes are already watering
We collected all the documents, as it is written on the official website. After submitting the application, they were called about a week later. I don't remember exactly what the name of the woman who accepted the documents was, I think Albina, but I want to express my great gratitude to her. I found a bunch of joints in our questionnaire, but I didn't expand it, but I fixed everything myself. We didn't hear anything about the offline questionnaire at all, so she didn't refuse and filled out everything herself for free, losing two hours of her personal time. No matter what anyone says, it's bad or good. We are personally very grateful to her.
I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Consulate employee Pozdnyakova Elvira Rinatovna for her responsiveness and professionalism!!! There are very few such employees!! I was with a child (we are from the Russian Federation), I forgot some printed copies of documents, Elvira Rinatovna kindly made them for us, others would have sent them to finish. We also had recordings for 2 different times, morning and evening, there were no other options for recording… I asked to take both me and the baby at the same time, so as not to travel 2 times, because it is not very convenient with a stroller and a child, Elvira Rinatovna kindly agreed, giving us time from her personal time!!!! Thank you very much!!!!
Everything is just outrageous. Especially the mode of operation. A certificate of no criminal record is issued on Mondays and Thursdays. A crowd of people stands on their feet for a long time.. Is it possible to add the days of reception of citizens? And then they give out two days for two hours. From 9.30 to 12.30. people have nowhere to sit on the street like on a village blockage, they sit outside the gate like homeless people. There is no comfort. It's a mess.
Disgusting attitude towards their own citizens. Queues outside the fence in winter. The guard advises. The information on the website, the stand and on the phone contradict each other. The registry office works 2 times a week for 5 hours. And this whole company is supported by budget money. Thank you very much, gentlemen bureaucrats, but you get a salary plan thanks to our tax deductions
I put one, but I estimate the work of Donna sharaga at minus six. The queues are six months long, when they are accepted, they accept several people a day. It feels like a selection was carried out, and the most stupid from all over Russia were sent here to work.
For many years, it has been necessary to contact the General Consulate of the Russian Federation in Almaty. And every time I visit this institution, I am struck by the humiliation that Russians experience from the consulate staff. The size of the consulate is the size of a huge palace, and the Russians, for whose needs it was built, crowd outside in the cold, near the guard booth. It is unrealistic to sign up for an electronic queue (it does not record!!!). And in the live queue it is necessary the day before the day of the visit, to come from the night and make lists, as it was in the USSR for the deficit. How disgusting and humiliating it all is! Mr. Lavrov, can you intervene?!!
There is no electronic record. It is impossible to contact the consulate. It is not realistic to apply for a passport. Will there ever be order? People are on duty themselves. What about those from other cities?
Excellent staff. I handed over my passport in October. It was necessary to sign up for a few days in a list that people themselves make up on the street. There was a huge queue. But I picked it up by appointment and there was no queue. The staff themselves are very calm and polite.Pozdnyakov E. silently corrected the shortcomings in the questionnaire for me.Otherwise, you would have to come back and sign up.Thank her very much. She is the very charm) Waiting outside is an unpleasant moment, but not critical!
I went to the polls several times and reissued the passport ending. Everything is clear and polite. I signed up on the website (we could simplify the procedure for queuing and filling out an application a little), I came on time, I was launched on time. The woman politely did everything, took pictures, corrected my jambs in the application and herself offered to keep the expiring passport until the end of its validity period in order to run around migration less. In short, people, first study the issue on the site yourself, then call. It will save both your and their nerves.
Good evening!Twice I had to apply to the Consulate General for a certificate of no criminal record, and both times (with a break in a year) the service was fast, polite and coordinated! Thanks for understanding, I had to take time off from work.

The nicest people work, they were accepted on time, everything is very polite and friendly. They smile and answer all questions.
The terrible work of the Consulate General of Russia in Almaty. There are 5 phone numbers listed, it is impossible to contact the consulate by any of them. All the numbers either don't answer or don't exist.
Documents are being prepared for a very long time, in the Almaty PSC, the number of people is many times more, and the time is many times less. There are no clear dates, no specifics, no option for accelerated manufacturing for an additional fee. The only advantage is the clarity of the instructions for registration.
More than one phone number is not working! They are sitting in the consulate for themselves and not for people ! And for them, Russians are not people!!!
I don't know why there are so many negative reviews, I read a lot before the trip and prepared for the worst, but as it turned out, in vain. I was issuing a birth certificate, the staff entered the position that I arrived from Shymkent with an infant and gave everything out on the same day, after 20 minutes maximum, a young man suggested (I don't know the name, sorry) what you need to do right away is citizenship, so as not to go back and forth and not sign up, I warned the girl in the 1st window to help me, she filled out the application herself, I just read it, signed it, thank you very much for your help!
In general, it's very good - everything is organized so that there is no crowding and crowding in the room. It took a minimum of time to resolve the issue (I applied for a foreign passport) - I waited longer for the ticket office to open. There were several inaccuracies in the questionnaire - they were corrected right in front of me. Minus one star for parking problems - there is not enough space. Horseless himself, but some of the visitors had difficulties. And for waiting for a call on the street, I froze a little. And for the rest, the level is higher than expected
Very good service if you make an appointment in advance.
I came across a very polite and responsible employee accepting documents. He was able to understand my situation and suggest a solution. I am very grateful to him!
1. The time of recording on the website and the real time of reception are not respected. I was booked at 9.45, got an appointment at 10.30.
2. The site has drawn some regulations for obtaining foreign passports, in reality all employees actively discourage from issuing a foreign passport for a newborn for 10 years of a new sample under any pretext.
The first question is who are the people who write positive things about this institution here..? I was there more than once, constantly boorish behavior, no staff in any sense. It's not okay to answer the phone, unless of course you get a glimpse of such luck. The impression that I got into some kind of rabble, there is no other way to say that any question is answered with mockery in a boorish way. They have no idea what they work there for or how to talk to people. The structure is well thought out, but there are no guarantees in the form of such personnel.
Good afternoon, tell me what to do, for several months I have not been able to make an appointment to replace my passport, they write that there is no free time, and the appointment button is generally ignored.
Awful. There was a question related to leaving for Russia. A guy answers the phone, a complete boor. Without listening to the rest of the question, he began to answer: "but we don't care." Without listening to the rest of the question. It's just terrible. And these are representatives of the whole country in our country. A complete boor.
Once in trouble, you should not rate this place as a father's house if you are from Russia, a long queue and a bunch of strange rules will immediately remind you of an ordinary state institution in Russia, but still you will receive the expected piece of paper here
