Khinkali is great. I tried khinkali with pork and herbs in this restaurant and in two nearby khinkali restaurants. Here they are both bigger, as it seemed to me, and tastier. The only negative is that the tails stuck together during cooking and the broth leaked out a little. But for me personally, it's not a big problem. Although it would be great if the cook would work on this one.
Soup. There are two types of soup. The kharcho (spicy) is decent. I felt sorry for the money. I took chicken broth for 6 rubles (too expensive for me for a glass of water and a couple of pieces of meat, but still cheaper). The broth itself is delicious. But the meat leaves much to be desired. I don't know if I was unlucky, but it was so tough that it was hard to chew. If possible, please add a little baking soda to the meat during cooking, so that it becomes at least a little softer. I hope it was a one-time "promotion".
To sum up, I liked it, if you don't take into account the meat from the soup. I recommend this place for hiking, especially if you can afford it.
If we compare it with the food tasted in Georgia itself, then "Gamarjoba" is inferior in some places, especially the sauce in chkmeruli. But if we do not compare, then we really liked the dishes. A very atmospheric, beautiful place with a convenient location
Food: 5 out of 10 out of 3 dishes, I liked only one, khinkali is raw, kebab is as dry as cured sausage. There is Caesar on the menu, but there are not many national dishes that I would like to see.
Atmosphere: the landing is tight, someone will not be lucky enough to sit on a narrow wooden chair, a singer came at 19:00, live music is certainly good, but it should not interrupt the conversation so that you have to break your voice. This really infuriated us, we had to leave the institution in favor of a nearby mac to continue the conversation, because we were asked 2 times for the music to be quieter, to which we were told that the artist had been paid and no one would do anything.
Service: polite waiters, not intrusive, always in plain sight.
Drinks: homemade fire wine, gentle does not give a drunk throat.
Conclusion: a good place to spend time before 19:00.
