One of the most modern and dynamically developing attractions in Istanbul. It is a huge berth for cruise liners and local ferries with magnificent views of the Bosphorus. There are a huge number of restaurants, cafes and shops located in renovated buildings of former warehouses and in new buildings. All this is complemented by the Museum of Modern Art and the Art Museum. Do not be surprised, but when you enter the territory of the port, you will definitely be searched.

A recreation center for locals and tourists.
We went by liner from the port - this huge underground space is impressive! It doesn't feel that big from the street
Brand stores are interesting, with self-payment instead of a cashier - it's so unusual rather. Payment is only in local currency, it is not convenient for us to have to change in the exchanger, the support of the local currency is of course great for themselves.

Stunning view of the Bosphorus!
There is a large territory, there are both branded shops and various establishments: coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and even a mosque and a museum.
It can take half a day walking around the whole area and shopping.
There is a tram line on both sides of the port in 5 minutes.

A beautiful promenade with large ships and views from the upper floors, although there are very few of them. There are all brands of clothing known to a person from Moscow and a couple of Turkish discoveries. It is very sad that we did not find the Uniclo brand in Istanbul((. But there are good local analogues, which, by the way, are represented in this shopping center. A clean and tidy shopping center with the opportunity to sit by the embankment in the open air or inside a variety of cafes. Among the sights are seagulls, with which you can take pictures by buying bread in any institution, and of course fish, which also swim on bread that gets into the water.

Одно из лучших мест в европейской части нынешнего Стамбула на мой вкус.
Просторно, чисто, ухожено. Прекрасный вид с набережной. Вся торговля скрыта а современных павильонах, что спасало от визуального шума.
Были днём, могли насладиться пустотой, которой так мне не хватало.
Хотелось бы сюда ещё раз вернуться. Вход на территорию тщательно проверяется, отличная служба безопасности.
На территории не обедали, так что не знаю, есть ли там вкусные и не очень дорогие места.
Есть хорошие чистые общественные туалеты
Скоро откроется Zara, что для многих соотечественников ещё один приятный бонус.

Galataport.
A great place to spend time with a view of the Asian part and Sultanahmet, next to the water. Plus the option of excellent shopping, there are nice restaurants. A cruise ship terminal has been established in the port, and you can admire the huge houseboats.
Definitely worth a visit, definitely a recommendation!

One of my favorite places in Istanbul. I lived nearby a couple of times. A beautiful embankment, to which, they say, giant ocean liners stick, while part of the embankment rises up. I didn't catch it, but you probably won't forget it. There is a separate entrance to the territory through security. There are a lot of delicious restaurants around, a lot of people on weekends, free on weekdays. There are good local clothing stores, the prices are different, but we constantly find something interesting there for ourselves. It is very convenient that you can go shopping and have a snack and just take a walk enjoying the view of the Bosphorus.
