On Sunday evening, I wanted to have dinner with delicious Turkish food with their unusual snacks and, of course, baklava. We chose Galata, a Turkish restaurant. The place has a very good location, but when we arrived, there were no visitors except us, people began to approach around 9 pm. We settled down on the flight deck. The waiter served perfectly, very helpful and nimble. The appetizer is delicious, I really liked the salad. There are questions about baklava, why she took off the star. They promised fresh, but it was dry, even the ice cream did not soften it.

But, I lowered the rating for the main dish, considering the price, there is clearly something to strive for, in Istanbul I ate this dish or similar many times (it was always excellent), the serving is similar, but the taste is not very good, the kebab is hard and burnt, the flatbread is tasteless and also tough for some reason, tomato and pepper on the grill They didn't like it either, even the pita bread was wrong, only the rice was cooked normally.
The portion size is also too small, this is not visible in the photo.
In general, if the chef is from Turkey, then he clearly needs to understand what I wrote about.

1. We took a New Year's set (4 people) for 5- we wrapped the meat with us, we couldn't eat it - it was enough, it seemed like there was a little bit of everything.
2. The cuisine is not Michelin-starred, but generally good.
3. The waiters try very hard, the service is fast.
4. Cozy, the main hall is decorated with greenery.
5. The prices are very comfortable
I lowered it to 4 stars - the music is screaming very loudly in the hall, it is impossible to talk - not even a neighbor can be heard.
