"Gagra market is a real godsend for everyone who loves an authentic atmosphere and high–quality products! There is an amazing atmosphere of hospitality here, and the vendors are always happy to help and offer something special. The huge selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, spices, nuts and local delicacies is amazing. I was especially impressed with the Abkhazian tangerines and honey – the taste is simply indescribable! I also liked that you can find unique souvenirs and handmade items that will be a great gift for your loved ones. The cleanliness and order of the market, pleasant prices and the goodwill of the sellers make visiting this place a real pleasure. I will definitely come back here again!"
The market is like a market, the prices are the same for everyone. You need to be careful with spices, you can bring bugs home. There are shops with Turkish sweets, there are covered pavilions, the same situation is there-bugs, everything is oak (I'm talking about Turkish delight) tea was charged 200 rubles per bag, I didn't take homemade wine, because I had experience of poisoning. Tangerines are delicious and inexpensive, 80 rubles per 1 kg, and there are cheaper ones , but they are small and sour. It's not worth tasting everything in a row, you can spend the night on the push afterwards. Good luck to all
We read the reviews and it was scary to go, but we decided to take a look.
As soon as we entered, we were very pleasantly surprised, everything was clean (as in some reviews, it was very dirty) and very nice and friendly people, we bought everything we needed and calmly left.
No one piled anything on us or dragged us by the hands (as they say in the reviews).
I don't know if we're lucky or if everything is always so decent, but if we're still there, we'll definitely stop by again.
