We visited this institution several times when visiting Gomel.
And we were always satisfied with ice cream, because there are not many places where you can go.
And the last visit left just unpleasant impressions. We wanted to have a glass of wine and a bowl of ice cream. They asked which of the wines on the wall is dry white/semi-dry. It's just a name and a price. The girl informed us that there are only two wines that can be poured into our glass, we took two different ones, because nothing is clear by name. We made the payment and sat down at a table.
Then we realize that there must have been a mistake, because the price range on the menu wall was around 15-17 rubles. And we paid for all 52 rubles (9 rubles of ice cream) and there was no way such an amount could have been obtained. I came over to clarify this point, and to find out if they thought something was wrong. The girl began to answer a little rudely that I poured you what you said(one glass is 26+17 and +9).
The director/owner came up to clarify what questions, and when I explained the situation, the answer was that they had a lot of wines that were not represented. But at the same time, no one notifies about it. And when I said that people should see what they were buying, he told me (and I quote): "when you go to such an institution, you must take into account your financial capabilities," and he opened the cash register with psychos and tried to refund the money (6 rubles, and it's not clear where this figure came from), I went to totally shocked, of course, without taking the money.
As a result, I consider this behavior unacceptable for an owner who can afford to talk to his own visitors in this way. We could apologize for the misunderstanding, say that we will make sure that prices are notified in advance, or print out a map / menu with the names and descriptions of the wines.
In a word, "customer orientation" is what should happen in 2025. And not the approach from the 90s, where you were also called almost a bum.
And I didn't say a word that it was expensive. But only to find out if there is a mistake and that there are no prices in the end.
There was a terrible aftertaste after that.
P.S. talking to friends, it turned out that this is not the first one. And some drank a glass of wine for 36 rubles. And the second bumble for 13 was two years ago.

Wonderful gelateria, a large selection of ice cream, but what! It's very tasty, I haven't eaten this for a long time. In addition, the menu has Italian snacks and various pastas, also of the highest level. The prices, surprisingly, do not bite. The staff is polite, but you can see that they are tired, the flow of visitors is huge, be ready for the queue. To sum up, it is necessary to visit, I advise everyone.

It's a beautiful place! Pleasant atmosphere (of course, I would like more space, but as it is). Delicious coffee (80 Arabica/20 rabusta) is not acidic, as happens with 100% Arabica. Excellent jellateria. The ice cream is very tasty, we like to go with our son on weekends when we walk around the city. Pleasant and unobtrusive service. The cafe itself is small, but this does not prevent it from being cozy and nice, there are tables by the large window and you can sit and look at the living city. Everything is insanely delicious. Yes, there is not enough space, but this further emphasizes the Italian style.
