The fountain appeared here in the 1960s, and for decades its appearance has not changed. During the preparation of the city for the republican holiday of the village workers "Dozhinki-2004", the square underwent a significant transformation, and with it a new fountain was made. Its opening was timed to coincide with the 1000th anniversary of Volkovysk in 2005, and a year earlier, during the "Dozhinok", tiles were laid on the site of the fountain.
