I really like this interesting idea and its embodiment, I really like a lantern with a Little Prince, with a janitor, a Gefest, a lantern with a sewing machine. Thanks to everyone who created this and continues the tradition!
A beautiful street and very beautiful not only lanterns, but also forged figures along the street. You can take a lot of beautiful photos near forged compositions. I advise tourists to walk along the whole street.
Another top place in our beautiful city. If you want to know Brest better, go to Gogol. All installations are a gift to the city from our branded enterprises and organizations. Excellent photo zone. And also, in some places, you can make a wish. And suddenly!.. You are welcome!
The Alley of lanterns is one of the "highlights" of the pedestrian center of Brest. Various sculptural compositions, many of which are also lanterns, will delight you. Against their background, you can make interesting memorable pictures, some you can "twist", many you can sit on. I highly recommend a walk along the alley of lanterns
Extraordinarily talented works of art have been created on Gogol Boulevard - forged lanterns. There are about 60 of them, all different, it's worth seeing! How people love and are proud of their city
An interesting urban tradition that attracts tourists. The most striking moment is the daily mystery of lighting lanterns, regardless of the season and weather. Lamplighter has been doing this for more than 15 years. It is very similar in appearance to the "persistent tin soldier" by H. H. Anderson. I recommend
A great place to walk. It is best to walk both in the afternoon and in the evening to fully examine and discover the installed objects from a new angle.
At any time of the year and in any weather, you can admire, admire and take a photo for memory.
New exhibits appear periodically, so the townspeople like to walk along the alley with lanterns.
The alley of lanterns is gorgeous...it could be if there were light bulbs in all of them: the further away from the pedestrian street, the less often the lanterns are burning. And this is a disaster: to invest so much money in forged lanterns, and not find the money for timely maintenance. But I recommend walking along the alley. Start your walk before dark, there are gorgeous photo zones near many lanterns - use them while it's light, because a lot is lost at night (there is not enough illumination even where the lamps in the lanterns are lit)
A worthy element of attraction for visitors to the city. Interesting design options, one lantern does not look like another, and if they tell you about the symbolism or the history of the lantern's creation, it will be even more interesting.
This is a real open-air LANTERN MUSEUM in the LANTERN city! The highlight and the face of Brest are in the very center on Gogol Street. I recommend it!
Just great!Walk along this alley of forged lanterns, enjoy the flight of imagination of blacksmiths! Respect to the companies that sponsored these masterpieces!!!
This is one of my favorite locations in Brest, it's worth taking the time and just walking around, looking at each lantern. My walks are short, as if in passing, but looking at the statues not for the first time, there is always some little thing that I did not notice in previous inspections. One disadvantage is that it's a little noisy from the car.
Not a bad place for romantic walks. It is especially beautiful in the summer in the evening, although in winter there is a highlight. It was cozy and beautiful, if not for the endless stream of cars, it was generally super.
A wonderful place, everything is so well thought out, there are many lanterns, of different shapes and on different topics, if you are here, be sure to walk along this alley.
They are very beautiful and unusual. This is a great feature of the city and a pleasant entertainment for guests and residents. Kids and lovers of hiking are very fond of it.
A beautiful sightseeing and architectural idea. There is something to see and do a photo shoot. I recommend it for viewing and visiting for adults and children!
Good forging and the importance of the object is a testimony, the alley of lanterns in honor of the millennium includes 30+ lanterns of various kinds of statues on behalf of various organizations, however, most of them suffer from lack of care and some lanterns are named by companies that no longer exist. In general, it is one of the attractions of the city and it is worth visiting the entire Gogol Street to see this alley.
A beautiful alley with sculptures. Each carries its own specific message.
I would like to mention the sculpture dedicated to the Ministry of Emergency Situations/ firefighters separately. Because it is hard physically and mentally work, work is a vocation, noble work to save lives and this is the least that these people deserve - great gratitude and respect expressed in the monument💙👍
A very interesting concept of Gogol Street!A variety of metal sculptures that tell about the enterprises of the city always attract the eyes of both visitors and residents
