No refund if you get stuck with this hotel. The hotel was in such abad condition that the management confessed remodeling will start soon. Beds and the facility smelled old and outdated. Do not believe the pictures on line, they are over 8 years old.
Absolutely disgusting and arrogant responses when asked for refund, had to leave and lose payment of 10 days. Vacation from hell in Larnaca, we are very disappointed. Dont book in this hotel Flamingo, there are 4 hotels nextdoor more modern and in much better condition for 5% more per night, but is worried to be elsewhere than in stinky Flamingo hotel.

A peaceful and lovely hotel right on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. There is a beach nearby where you can swim. And there is good infrastructure nearby, cafes, restaurants and shops. Rich and hearty breakfasts at the hotel. They are very high in calories, and if possible, you can make lunch out of them. The staff is friendly, many people know Russian.
Nearby there are small shops with all the necessary accessories for recreation. In the evening, the street is crowded, there are a lot of cars. There is a pier nearby where you can buy fresh seafood.

I stopped 2 times . Not far from the airport, but they do not interfere with the aircraft, but on the contrary attract their attention when they fly by. Polite staff , delicious food , entertainment program on Fridays. The cool thing is that this is the first Line and across the street there is a city beach with paid sun beds, but you can use it for free until 10-11! I highly recommend it.

We have been going to this hotel every year for many years. For several reasons - close to the airport of Larnaca, we get there quickly, if there is a general transfer, then they are delivered first, and then they are picked up last, for 5 hours in total we rest longer, settling in other hotels. Taxis are cheap - about 10 euros via the app, 15 at the taxi stand. You can also take a bus, it takes 5 minutes to walk from the bus stop. The hotel is on the first line, went out, crossed the road and the beach. The sea is shallow and therefore warms up quickly. And you can swim to the depth. Close to the salt lake, 15-20 minutes walk up and you can admire the pink flamingos when they arrive. There is a swimming pool on the roof of the hotel. The food is delicious, the staff is very friendly, mostly women from Bulgaria and they know Russian well. Of the cons, there has not been a renovation for a long time, on the day of arrival, a master in plumbing and beds is often required. It comes quickly. There are no refrigerators in the rooms, no fruit, but no ice cream. But the Flamingo is connected to the Mackenzie Hotel, which has refrigerators and kitchens, because it is an apartment hotel. The local owner is a Cypriot, regularly arranges feasts for his family downstairs. Wi-fi is not good in all rooms, and the lobby is fine. Well, plus and minus at the same time (depends on perception) these are planes landing, the noise from them does not prevent us from falling asleep, but we like to look at them. To the right of the Mackenzie Hotel is a beach with good restaurants, to the left there are also many simpler restaurants and taverns. A couple of km away is the Finikoudes embankment, where there is a lot of international Fast Food. And finally, this is the cheapest hotel on the first line. If the listed disadvantages do not scare you, then join us) And another plus is most of the rooms with side sea views, and at the end of the corridor even with two) - frontal to Mackenzie beach, and side to Castella beach. They were from November 14 to November 18, 2019. The first line by the sea. The breakfasts are excellent. All that we love) beans, cheese, cucumbers, sausage, sour cream, lettuce leaves, toast, eggs, omelet. There are plenty more muesli, yoghurts, but what we didn't eat, we didn't eat)))
The adapter was given at the reception (secured by 2 euros) in a nearby store, the price is the same.
The bed is clean. The room was cleaned every day. Toilet paper, hair and body gel in one bottle, but the hair did not come out))) There is a large mirror in the bathroom. There are no slippers or toothbrushes. But there were blankets. It's cool on the balcony at night - it's nice to wrap up in a big soft blanket). TV and many channels. Even Russians.))) For the lazy) two glasses. There are no more dishes. I took a kettle and a cup with me- I warmed tea. The water in the restaurant is downstairs in the cooler. But there is a shop nearby and there a 1.5 bottle costs about 1 euro. There were three towels for each of them. Hangers. A portable table and an armchair. The balcony has its own table and plastic chairs. There is Wi-Fi. In general, the hotel is excellent.And even the fact that it is located on the outskirts of the city is super! In 4 days we were lucky to see a marathon that passed by the hotel from the center and to the airport. As well as crowds of Scots who were dressed up in their national costumes (they came to the Scotland-Cyprus match). The promenade is a 20-minute walk along the sea and another 20 minutes along the entire promenade to its end along Finikoudes beach. Mackenzie Beach is nearby. Salt lake with flamingos. Lots of cafes) some kind of port with fishing boats ( with palm trees ) the views are great. They know Russian everywhere. They understand sign language perfectly))))))) the hotel was paid for at the exchange rate at the time of purchase for 4 nights about 14 thousand rubles. not far (to the left) from the hotel there is a bus stop 425 (from and to the airport) every half hour from the airport in 20 and 50 minutes. To the airport at 10 and 40 minutes every hour. From 5 to 9 or 10 p.m. One stop in both directions)))) Therefore, we looked at where he was coming from + dialogue with the driver)))) It's a ring, that's why it's so complicated. 425 generally takes everyone further to the center. There are no stops as such. But you need to tell the driver where you need to go and he stops at the nearest parking lot. But if it's on the way to the end point of his route (Finikoudes Beach) . taxis are expensive (10 minutes from flamingo - about 15 euros). The transfer is even more - 20-25 euros. We stayed at the hotel in October 2019. The impression is excellent. Polina, a Russian-speaking employee at the reception, is friendly and helpful, instantly solves all organizational issues. The room is clean, cozy, all the equipment is working. Nearby, across the street there is a great clean sandy beach. The outlets are close. The promenade leads to Finikoudis, the ceremonial center of the city. Disadvantages: hotels of this class in other countries provide drinking water, a set of tea-coffee-sugar, basic toiletries. Flamingos don't have that. But the breakfast is a high-quality buffet, it's hard to think of what's missing. We remember with gratitude

50 meters to the sea, on the 5th floor there is a swimming pool, at the reception some administrators speak Russian without an accent, others understand English well, the attitude is respectful, the rooms are cozy, TV, bath, bathroom, Russian-language channels (TNT), Wi-Fi is free, air conditioning, there is a small balcony with a table and chair, true, there is a view of the courtyard, but the sea is also visible from the balcony. Among the significant disadvantages: the breakfast (buffet) is monotonous, all 8 days there was the same assortment, but the dishes were different and in sufficient quantities. Overall, I liked everything. The safe is located in the room. The cost is humane. Guests : Russians, Ukrainians, Germans, Italians. On weekends, there is live music in the cafe at the hotel.

Good afternoon! We stayed at the hotel in July 2019. I have the best impressions. I don't understand vacationers who are left with so much negativity in their reviews. Nice hotel, good location near the sea. Helpful staff, good maids. Perhaps the breakfasts are a little monotonous, but they correspond to the price category, it is enough for both adults and children. You can't hear planes at night. We flew with Biblio Globus, we also bought excursions from them. I really enjoyed the donkey ride. If you want to go on an excursion with singing fountains, it is better to take an evening boat trip. In the afternoon, I do not recommend going on excursions at all. In general, the rest was a success!

The cleaning was terrible, used towels that were specially left on the floor to be replaced were picked up and hung back by the maids. I really liked the location of the hotel, the beach is across the street, the sea is wonderful.
We were at the hotel with our granddaughter in September 2019, we took only breakfast.
The breakfasts may not be very varied, but you can eat enough, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants near the hotel on both sides where you can eat fresh fish for 12 euros, the dish is large, you can take one for two.
In general, although the hotel itself is not new, but it was a good rest there.

Good evening! I don't remember when I wrote reviews about hotels, but now I just couldn't help but write. I can't remember a worse place where I would be accommodated!! So, I'll start in order:
1. The hotel itself is very "tired", everything that is there is worn out and cleaned decently..
2. Our room was cleaned disgustingly, black hair from the cleaner was everywhere in the toilet, as if a horse was being sheared there.
3. The glasses in the room were dirty.
4. We had cockroaches..
5. The towels are in such a condition that it seems that the great-grandmother of the hotel owner used them... so old, half-dirty.... to the white color that they should have been, they are sooooo far away..
6. We had a watering can in the shower, or rather a hose to the watering can and the water flowed more like that.. through the holes in the hose..
7. There was liquid soap in the bathroom near the sink, with grief in half, but for the shower, the locals decided that this was a luxury.. Liquid soap, it's also a shampoo, it's also a shower gel... it probably should have been poured into a special container, but it did not work and nothing better than not to repair it and not look for an alternative.. again, we were left without one..
8. We made a big mistake and took accommodation with breakfast and dinner...
Dinner was disgusting.. a mess of rice with sour pickled eggplant, half-boiled potatoes with some kind of cloudy celery, the fish was edible.. honestly)
The breakfasts were edible and the mood was lifted by magnificent oranges..
9. And to top off our first and only dinner, we ordered tea, ordinary tea, which was brought to us in dirty cups with someone's lipstick and it is not clear what water it was made on, that it was impossible to drink it at all ... leaving 2.5 euros.. we sadly retired and enjoyed drinks in the center..
In general, do not believe that it is awesome and wonderful there... there turned out to be 6 tourists who met there and none of them are ready to come here again...
But!!! The choice is yours)

I had a rest in 2018.. There is an elevator. The food is good, the breakfast is a buffet. I didn't take dinner. The bed is changed often. The maids are a little sloppy - dust on the furniture. There is an air conditioner. The windows were facing east, it was not hot, on the neighboring building, the sea was visible from the side. I had a bathroom in my room. You can wash it humanly. To dry on the balcony - take a rope and clothespins with you. You can ask the maid for the cork. There was one Russian-speaking Uzbek or Tajik woman, a good one. There were two ladies at the reception - one Russian, the other Bulgarian. The third was local - she spoke English. All are good. The hostess is English, kind - she feels sorry for orphaned cats and dogs. Feeds, treats. Collects donations. Two nearby hotels sometimes hold Greek song and dance evenings, b/pl. At the reception, you can take an adapter to the electronic network as a deposit. You can buy it in the store- 5th.. There are no kettles. Take yours. (Hide it just in case.) You can take the oatmeal. And not only. Wi-Fi is bad. It doesn't catch everywhere. You need to go out into the hallway or into the foyer. The guide is a lady who visits the hotel regularly, responsibly and tells in detail about the excursions. You can fly to Jerusalem and Bethlehem for one day. Prices depend on the season. I was in the autumn for 300 euros. I'm happy. You can shoot a video of planes landing. The airport is close. But I would not say that they interfere with sleep much. Apparently, there are no night flights. In the cafe you can find lunch even for 10 euros, if you try hard. Right-hand drive cars. Traffic is on the right side. I don't know the rental prices. The beach is to cross the road. The sea - it's okay to go in, not shallow, and not deep. The sand is yellow and coarse. The beach is cleaned, not dirty. Sun beds and umbrellas - 5 euros. I don't remember the shower, maybe it's paid. I didn't use it. There is a changing room. You can buy groceries and souvenirs nearby in small shops. You can buy sausages, dairy products, bread, water, etc.. Prices depend on the distance. Supermarkets are a bit far away. Take a map from the guide and find everything in the world. At first, we were unpleasantly surprised that food was not replenished in the dining room, and dirty dishes were not cleaned on time for visitors. For this reason, those who came later have nowhere to sit and there is simply nothing to eat. But our tourists defended their rights))) After that, the situation changed radically 👍
I liked that the room is spacious and has large furniture. There is a bathroom, not a shower, which eliminates eternal puddles and excess dampness.
The staff is polite, they are going to a meeting.
There is Wi-Fi - it even reaches the beach😉📱
The location is ideal: close to the city of Larnaca and to the airport of the same name. The famous Salt Lake is nearby.
The only thing is: the cleaner in the room never washed the floors and did not bother to make the beds. I'm talking about this because there is something to compare it with!
As a result, I would rather advise than not🤩
