I brought an old smartphone that turned off and did not charge. No paid diagnostics. The master pre-voiced the options for a possible problem and stipulated the options and amounts of repairs. As a result, the problem turned out to be something else, which the master called, warned about the cost and explained the inexpediency of the repair. I didn't pay any money.
