Doubts arose immediately after the Spanish wine was brought, which turned out to be worse than the barmaid, which is sold by the road in southern Ukraine, but definitely will not be brought in a decent restaurant. However, the waiter Oleg (who, as it turned out later, was the only sane person in the restaurant) quickly changed it to a digestible Chilean cabernet. Nevertheless, I ordered sea bass on the grill, which I usually do not do in Kiev restaurants, but then the devil got confused. Maybe it was the three-hour shooting in studio XXL (it's nearby), or maybe hunger, but the choice was made. Half an hour later, they brought me quite decently cooked mackerel (and I ordered sea bass), which I immediately told the waiter, hunger did not give me time for scandals and showdowns. I just asked you to pay attention that this is not the right fish, and if in doubt, come and try it. Everyone knows very well that the taste of mackerel is very difficult to confuse with any other. But the cook stubbornly refused to go, he had to leave a piece. When the staff realized that the conflict could not be resolved silently, the administrator Nina appeared, who assured us that the sea bass would not be included in the bill and she apologized very much. Nevertheless, I asked to include mackerel in the bill, since I do not like "free cheese", and there was no question of not paying for the order, but I was told that the restaurant's policy does not allow this and sea bass will not be on the bill. The chef also came, but due to the lack of communication culture and nervousness, communication somehow did not work out. From my extensive experience of communicating with restaurant staff, I often visit them, shoot advertising campaigns for them, moreover, in many countries of the world, so I can say for sure that self-respecting chefs do not behave this way, especially do not allow themselves rudeness and disrespect to the visitor. And, of course, as a result of all these declarations of love and respect for the client, the bill was brought with sea bass. As I understand it, they thought I wouldn't notice. But I noticed and asked... After all the assurances that the client was always right, the answer was unique and at the same time purely market: "This is sea bass." Considering that by this time the plate with the fish had been taken away, there was nothing to discuss! Moreover, the administrator has already started to be rude, since her goal, as I understand it, was to take the evidence with the fish and deceive the client. Friends, I understand that the crisis in Ukraine, alas, has not grown to the level, but why deceive the client in such an arrogant and shameless way? To cheat on 10-20 hryvnia?SCAMMERS. I am ashamed of such a restaurant, I am ashamed that it is located in my favorite city. I hope that he is the only one in Kiev. A special "thank you" to the owners of such a "successful" institution. I do not recommend it if you want to eat delicious food in a good mood.

We ordered a wedding banquet in Figaro. The banquet is not big, the prices are stated at least per person, just an advertising move. It is simply not realistic to feed the guests for this money. We paid a lot more. But the main thing behind the beautiful names of the dishes is just disgusting tasteless food. The administrator is a boorish middle-aged lady, behaved very rudely, all requests were ignored. Don't spoil your wedding by celebrating it in Figaro!
