A quiet hotel in the village of Baylan. Separate bungalows with different prices. The pool is small but clean.
Baylan Bay beach at the Mercury Hotel was very neglected - too shallow almost all the time, dirty (maybe they got into the tides?) and going behind the protective ridge there is a chance to run into hedgehogs. Mercury "5 stars" has faded in 6 years - the pools are green, the beach is running (. After we ran into a hedgehog once, we went only to the neighboring Loneli Beach (50 baht per person in 1 direction - or by bike).
There are a lot of food nearby: Tamarin, Nani, Korean BBK on the coast. The food halls open and close..
We rested here for the second time - if it weren't for the dead beach in the village, it would be perfect. Loneli Beach, on the other hand, was good: sand, normal depth, sunbeds on the beach, saps, night discos... Beer and any other "permitted" beer are available :)
